Grandiouse spaces from a byegone era.
Rubber-faced, insouciant staff. How quaint!
Excellent location for touring old buildings (mostly churches).
Very few classy restaurants in the area.
Great location with beautiful spacious rooms.
The hotel is well locatated and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and very clean. The hotel is full of character. Breakfast was excellent!
Nice building, very clean
I was very surprised a child cot was not being provided for free, rather they wanted to charge €15 per night!
great staff, lounge area, good coffee.
The location was in the Old part of the city with many sites and shopping and restaurants conviently located to the hotel. Staff spoke English and was very friendly.
Nothing dissatisfied us.
The fact That it us located in the old, central part of Palermo. We did a Great deal if walking.
our room was above Street level. It was very noisy at night especially with fréquent ambulances. I had requested a room away from noise with air condition!
Quality of public rooms. Breakfast has excellent variety.
Showers had black mould
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much & would use it again. The on site covered parking is good, though a bit expensive, but access to the carpark is through a narrow road, so a small car is essential.
The charm of the hotel was excellent
The room is clean and comfortable. We had many choices for breakfast. The staff is very friendly to help us for city visiting
Once we got a table, the food was good and the service prompt.
on St. Stefano's day (26 December) we were told we would not need a reservation for dinner. When we arrived at 8:30 PM for dinner, there was an hour wait! Nothing else was open, so we had no choice.
Hotel was nice, but nothing special.
It could be nice, but it was a bit run down. It looked much better in the advertising pictures.
In general hotel is very pleasant, clean and with kind stuff.
The rooms are not sound protected, so it was very loud especially in the morning. Aditionally, i was using appartment, and the king sized bed was consisted of 2 parts, so the comfor wasn't as i expected.
A/C didn't work View from open door (which was opened to cool the room), was a building under construction...about 10 feet away.
shower too small, staff a bit stiff but accomodating
Breakfast, Location, Staff
Good location. Lots of charm. Bartender in lobby bar made our day.
No air conditioning. Room was hot.
All of it !
Position in city centre, very close to places of interest, restaurants, bus and train station, airport shuttle. The panoramic hotel restaurant on 4th floor is excellent, and what a view!
No (cooling) air-conditioning in our room; good ventilation though; noisy street traffic at night
Staff and bar was excellent
There is no parking in the area around the hotel, so don't try. Call the front deck and they will greet you out front and park your car.
The public rooms. The breakfast Spacious room Helpful staff Good location
Plumbing was a bit erratic
Everything was a pleasure. The place is an absolute gem. We had an older style room as I like the history of a building and we were not disappointed. It was comfy, clean and spacious. The breakfast room is not to be missed. It was one of the highlights of our whole trip in Italy, truly a great experience. Walking distance to everything and the dinner on the rooftop terrace was wonderful.
Not a thing. It is brilliant.
The breakfast was great
