Located in the heart of Palermo, just a few steps from the magnificent cathedral and the famous Via Maqueda, this hotel was once the noble 18th century Palazzo Tarallo.

Originally a magnificent aristocratic residence, this hotel was brought back to its original splendour by an expert restoration completed in 2003. The particular care exercised in the selection of furnishings and the preservation of the original structures endowed the hotel with a special charm and a unique personality.

On the main floor, lavish frescos and precious antique furniture recreate a magical atmosphere straight out of the novel ‘The Leopard’. There are 5 conference rooms, all fully-equipped, as well as the ‘Restaurant 1892’, an ideal base for special event lunches or dinners as well as wedding receptions, buffet or gala dinners.

The hotel boasts its own fitness room, garage and fully-equipped meeting rooms.

During the summertime, the hotel runs a free shuttle bus service to Genoardo Park Hotel open-air swimming pool and solarium area, and excursions to Mondello beaches or other main seaside villages.

Food & beverage

The 'Restaurant 1892' can accommodate up to 250 people and is the ideal place to host special event lunches or dinners as well as wedding receptions, buffets or gala dinners.

On the roof is the gourmet 'Ai Tetti' restaurant, a romantic and exclusive place where you can enjoy candlelit dinners. In both restaurants, the chef proposes the finest international cuisine as well as Sicilian specialities, with particular care taken in selection of fresh products and exclusive regional wines.

The hotel also offers 2 bars, one of which is close to the main lobby and the other, open during spring and summer, is on the roof.

Room information

The hotel offers 104 rooms, of which one is a presidential suite, 4 are suites and 10 are junior suites. All are equipped all modern amenities.

The presidential suite, with antique and design furniture, is 150 m².

It is centrally located.

There is no internet available anywhere for guests, except a very, very poor and impossible to use version through the television. Nowadays, 4 star hotels in cities are expected not just to have internet, but also wifi.

Stayed in a suite which was of good size. "Sitting" room was actually a second bedroom with no TV for the room. Good breakfast. Good dinner restaurant recommendation.

Refrigerator did not work. Construction on going in adjacent building.

very "palazzo" so italian . very easy to walk to all the interesting points of palermo

not very easy to access with our car but in the town's heart

宿泊した4名のうち最もランクの高いジュニアスイートは外光が入らない牢獄のような部屋だった。チャイニーズレストランの場所をフロントで聞いたが、間違った情報を教えられた。

Accueil très sympatique (et employés parlant français). Parking à 16e mais à l'hôtel même et vous pouvez laisser la voiture après le check out.

Nous avions pris 2 chambres dont une suite et un néo classique. La néo classique était "mieux" que la suite. en fait la suite nous a déçue au niveau de la décoration ainsi que la sdd (car ce n'est pas une sdb et surtout il n'y a pas de jacuzzi --> c'était notre grosse déception). A refaire, nous prendrions 2 néo-classique.
