Friendly staff, complimentary internet access Breakfast was rudimentary at best; would have preferred real cappuccino over machine-made. |

Cheerful and helpful staff, central location. Street noise, noisy air conditioning, slightly neglected fixtures, size of room. |

I would describe this hotel as efficient with great location. Walking distance to great shopping, Spanish Steps, Borghese Museum, and metro. Small hotel, really nice helpful staff (especially Carla). Bright, clean, good atmosphere. Breakfast is light, pastries, fruit, coffee, cereal, yogurt, salami. A word of advice..do not book the regular double room, it is insanely small. I booked as it was last room available for my dates in Rome. We laughed out loud when we saw the room but thought, "How much time will we actually spend in the room anyway?". If you spend any time in the room, you will find it claustrophobic. If you close the bathroom door you can't turn around. I do believe the hotel has larger rooms but #4 was not one of them. I am a small person and had trouble, but if you are a large person, there would be no way you could enter the shower. Just be sure and call ahead and ask lots of questions about the room before you book. |

This is a wonderful small hotel between the Piazza Popolo and Spanish Steps. The public areas include beautiful faux marble finishes and stained glass windows and the breakfast buffet offered a wide range of choices. We expected our room to be small based on other Roman hotels we've stayed in the past and so nothing about our stay here was disappointing. Highly recommended. |

Hotel staff was great and supportive. Room is large, quite. Good breakfast. Excellent location - the very centre of the city. I like this hotel and would definetely stay in this hotel next time. The only thing I would like to mention is that some small staff in the bathroom was not replaced after the 1st night (i.e. cotton-wool rolls), but this was the only little thing I would recommend to improve. |

Friendly, accomodating staff, very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and more than adequate. Hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to shops and historical sites. The room was very small and bathroom was extremely tiny, but it was clean. |

The room was in a great location in the city. It was very clean and nicely appointed. The AC worked well when needed and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads, cornetti, meats, yogurt, fruit and cafe of your choice. |

The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good english which helps when my Italian is very basic. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was central to shopping and sightseeing areas. The lift was small and impracticable for more than one person with luggage. |

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the female receptionist was particulary helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was better than expected with plenty of choices. The air conditioning and the cleanliness of the room were excellent. I was disappointed by the bar there was no seating available as the room was always set up for breakfast |

Hotel Centrale was a real find for us. It suited our needs regarding location (minutes away from Piazza del Popolo) and other points of interest. The room was large, airy and well appointed, especially with the adjoining terrace. The staff was exceptional, especially Massimo. |

3 stars? Yes. Staff? 5stars. Great location. Everything in walking distance. The shower cabinet was almost coffin-size! The shower itself was fine. |

Very central location, staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was lovely and filling, cleanliness of the hotel was very high. In order for the lift to operate the inside doors had to be closed, some visiters were not closing the doors. Resulting in the lift not working. Hotel should put up a notice about this. |
