Nice Staffs, Nice room, Nice location
Breakfast variety - like fruits, eggs, cold cuts
great location, room very clean
Poor breakfast, small bathroom with the shower being part of the bathroom floor.
In central spot, good room
Small area for breakfast
Very friendly welcome. Good breakfast The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was great
The street below was fairly noisy so we didn't get a full night's sleep even though the beds were very comfortable.
Great location and really helpful staff! excellent choice
It's location is great. Just a couple of minutes from the main sightseeing places. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Small extra fee for the breakfast.
location close to the Market where they sell the best food products and wines! also close to the main station for buses and trains!
wifi was only available in corridors not in the room. the room was small and the bathroom was super small in size
Location was very convenient. Hotel also had valet safe parking for our car much cheaper than parking at the SMN train station. Room was clean and atrractive, but the street was very noisy with the windows open.
Noise at street level. Breakfast was very skimpy.
hard to beat location cleanliness airco staff
rooms can be noisy so bring earplugs parking price
The hotel location was in town center, so we could visited the all locations on foot.
Location was excellent. Generally clean and very livable.
Staff did not speak any English. Bathroom was across the hall from the bedroom. Rooms are very cramped and are the bare minimum. Expect a no-frills budget hotel - fine if you're not spending much time there.
friendly staff, nice room, good location
poor (but it is standard for Italy) breakfast.
Room was clean and service as wonderful.
Not much really, we were pleased with everything.
The location of this hotel is wonderful as is the staff. Ali and Alia were very helpful in looking up information for us and in helping with luggage and room accommodations. The cleaning staff were cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was included in the price and the small dining room was pleasant. I hope to return again in the near future.
nice staff and good location
Perfect location, perfect staff! The best choice at this price.
Staff couldn't be more helpful, location is fantastic, excellent value for money plus we got a free upgrade on arrival!
Wifi tended to go in and out quite a lot
Located within minutes of the major attractions of the old city of Florence.
A/C in the room was not functioning properly and we had to sleep with the window open to even get the faintest of breezes. No parking on site and getting to the hotel through the maze of one way streets in the city center was difficult. Paid parking nearby is available for $25 per night and can be arranged via the hotel. If you're arriving by car be sure to keep this in mind.
Staff was helpful & tried really hard to fix the air conditioning. The room was very clean. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation, one staff person actually walked us to the restaurant he recommended--- & it was a great restaurant.
Air conditioning was broken Bathroom didn't have enough shelf space to put toiletries.
Location is perfect, staff is very friendly and helpful, clean room
Two ladies who sometimes work at night seemed very nice but they know absolutely no English so that was a surprise for me! Also, wifi was not strong at all in the room. I had to go out in the corridor to have a proper connection
the service and the location
our a/c was not working
Nothing, the only thing that was half decent was the location of this place.
For people seriously looking at staying here: PLEASE READ. The hotel staff was not nice or accommodating at all. We arrived to Hotel Centro where we were greeted by a receptionist that did not seem to want us to be there. There was no introduction to Florence, no map for us to get around, just a simple 'hello here is your key and give me your passports to make a copy of'. After getting to the room and realizing there were zero towels in the room I went to the front desk to tell them this (they could not believe that there weren't any towels) so he sent me back to the room with another employee to check like we were trying to scam them of their precious towel supply. She then saw there were no towels because there is no storage space anywhere in the bathroom so she finally gave us some scratchy pieces of cloth. After using the towels the next morning we hung them up on the rack because we thought we could use them again. After returning in the afternoon we came to find our towels had been taken from the rack and not replaced. What kind of hotel doesn't know the common phrase "a towel of the floor means I'm done with it, and a towel hanging up means I'm still using it"? The shower makes the whole bathroom wet so be prepared to use a towel to clean up the pool of water you will be standing in as you get ready. There was also a problem with the air conditioning throughout the whole building which they didn't care about because I'm sure they don't live there, so it didn't matter to them. All they could say was 'no funciona, no funciona'. They did nothing to compensate us for this problem, no discount, nothing. Which leads us to the next problem. Language issues. Even if you know some key phrases in italian it won't help because they are very snooty to people, like us, that speak english. Also if you plan to eat breakfast, don't be late as they do not replace any items. DO NOT STAY HERE.
The location was wonderful!!!!! Close to everything!!!!
Breakfast was not included even though there was a room for it....at least not with our room. We didn't realize this and after we ate the second morning, & they said it would be 3 Euros extra per person per day....not bad, but then they tried to charge us 4 instead. They did go back to 3 once I corrected them. So just confusing!
