Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Great location, although close to the city center, it was very quiet area.
The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was rather limited, the coffee was not very good and the fresh fruit offer was minimal.
Price and a very nice balcony.
Clean room with clean bathing towels. The location is very close to ferry station and major bus stop.
Everything looks old and makes me feel like they will fall apart at anytime. I have terrible nose allergy against dust and I cannot survive with their carpet floor. However, my friend who doesn't have the allergy has no problem with the room.
The staff at the hotel were amazing, very friendly and helpful, especially Francesco. We had Wi-Fi in the room, very convenient. Breakfast buffet was included in the cost.
The room could have been a little bigger. But the important thing is that it was clean.
Very spacious well appointed room. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location.
Breakfast wasn't fantastic. Limited choice and horrible coffee.
The location and the helpful staff
Location, facility, service
The hotels recommended by friends were fully booked, so I looked in that general neighborhood.and felt that the Hotel Centro offered a good price and the hotel was small, two qualities I wanted. The staff was friendly and honest about recommending restaurants for us to try, explaining that food at both was simply prepared, but used fresh ingredients. When we wanted to take a public bus, the staff warned us about pick pockets. The breakfast included in the hotel price wasn't fancy, but had everything from fresh fruit to chocolate croissants, plain cereals, different flavored yogurts, cold cuts and tomatoes. The wifi worked well, but there was no desk in the room, so we had to check and answer our e-mails lying on the bed. There was a desk in the hotel foyer, but we usually preferred to read and respond to e-mails in our room. .Although there was excellent air conditioning in the room, the hotel has a key system which saves energy, so when the guest leaves, the electricity shuts off. This is a smart, ecological system that should be installed throughout the wasteful United States, but the Hotel Centro had thick walls, and was on a narrow street, so our room retained its coolness even when we were gone for 5 or 6 hours in the 90 degree F. weather during the day..
The room was very small and we could not share the bathroom very much at the same time, but it still had everything. And as I explained in the paragraph about the good wifi, a desk to sit at in the room would have been a nice extra. Perhaps the staff would consider changing one of the bed side tables for a small desk. We were gone for about 5 hours one We did ask for two dry towels--it wasn't a big deal but it's always nicer to return to a tidy room.. .
This hotel is near the railway station and in walking distance from many of the main attractions.
Outdated decor, bit scruffy but ok for short visits.
Very close to Roma termini
No air con in room. Very difficult to spend summer nights. Choice of breakfast is limited. No hot food served.
cleanliness, ventilation and comfort were perfect (especially in contrast with the terrible smell and piles of garbadge outdoors).
On May 21 at 10:30 a maid has characterized my manner of speach as "Russian style" (I have not asked her opinion on my style of speach!), on the evening of May 20 a nightman has recommended me a poor though rather expensive restaurant (judging upon my conversations with other customers on the next morning - not only to me), Internet was blocked on May 21 for a while
Dirty , needs attention
staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, location fantastic
beds were very hard carpets need replacing
Convenient location, quiet ,helpful and friendly staff.
The breakfast was lovely. The chambermaids kept the room well.
One downside was the carpet on the stairs was a bit tired.
Very well located near the train station. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. Very good and helpful staff.
The wifi - horrible, almost unusable. Some breakfest items were ran out very fast.
Barmen in the kitchen
Poor stairs' carpet
Staff really helpful. Breakfast good and location superb. I had great sleeps as it was very quiet.
A little bit of tlc would go a long way. Change curtains on front windows, carpet on stairs.
Courteous, efficient check-in and other staff all very pleasant and helpful. Extremely good value for money. We have stated at Centro in the past, and will again.
One small problem - the shower doors were broken and did not close. We did alert the reception to this and a note to repair it was made at the time.
The location and breakfast are very good!
The wifi and cleanliness of the bed stuff are not good!
Very nice polite and helpful staff , very neat and clean with super localisation. We were sightseeing all main places in Rome by foot.
We have stayed in the Centro hotel many times because of the price, location and friendly staff. Hotel is close to train station, metro, buses and all major sites. Last year I left my coat behind and when they found it the staff posted it back to me in Dublin at no cost to me. Great customer service!!
Nothing really. It's a great inexpensive hotel. Decor is a bit dated but who goes to Rome to look at the hotel decor??
The hotel centro is a good value for money, nice staff and good location. The breakfast was delicious.
Wifi is poor in rooms.
The place of the hotel is perfect and the staff was very kind, but the most helpful and caring person of all was alberto that helped us as much as he could without even asking him! His suggestions was really meaningful!
