Pillows too thick
Nice hotel choice: Good value for money and extremely convenient location. The staff was helpful.
Only two good things here: Francesco at the reception desk, and the wifi.
Extremely shabby place. Very rude staff. Very poor breakfast.
The wonderful gentleman that ran the breakfast room was very efficient and pleasant.
Location, very friendly & helpful staff, value for money.
Breakfast was only average.
Everything, the staff were wonderful. Francesco was absolutely charming and offered advice about the city, and well as spectacular restaurant suggestions. Rooms were a good size (for Europe) and beds were comfy. Wifi was excellent and free breakfast rocked (especially when the breakfast host offered to make you a real coffee!) No trouble with noise or location. Close to metro, shopping and great food! Would recommend to everyone.
Near the central traffic hub of Termini it is easy to go anywhere and back with buses and metro. Even in walking distance of city center ( 20 min). The hotelstaff was friendly and pointed out places of interests and restaurants. The upper floors have rooms with balconies .
The coffee from the automatic machine-like tea. Ask the waiter instead for coffee .
Its location and some staff members
Breakfast, signs of wear, inadequate lift facility
The location was perfect. We were about 7min walk from the colluseum and other attarctions. The staff were extremely helpful.
The breakfast was extremely basic so don't expect to fill up before you head out
Location Breakfast The bathroom wasn't a bad size for a hotel of this rating
Room was a bit small needs a face lift, the décor is very dated Could do with having coffee facilities in the room
Location, clean and comfortable room, staff were very friendly and helpfull
location price staff assistance
Clean hotel very well situated at 5 minutes walk from Termini train station. Staff especially (Francesco) very helpful with great suggestions for good restaurants etc. Walking distance to main street for easy access to bus and subway.
Room we had was OK for the price but would have preferred being on a different floor.
Kind staff. Location.
Extra charge for a child even if you use an existing bed. The number of towels were not enough. Breakfast was so so.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Great location, although close to the city center, it was very quiet area.
During my check out no body help me to bring my bags
Very reasonably priced hotel Central location close to railway station easy access to tourist attractions Breakfast limited but good for price When we complained about 1st room we were moved immediately Staff very helpful and pleasant
The air conditioner in the 1st room was very loud and inefficient. Much better in the 2nd room we were allocated Shower pressure was inconsistent went from very hot to cold on the one setting Limited breakfast but considering the price one paid it was adequate Furnishings could do with an upgrade and hotel could do with an uplift Wi fi very poor in rooms but worked well in reception area
The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was rather limited, the coffee was not very good and the fresh fruit offer was minimal.
Price and a very nice balcony.
Clean room with clean bathing towels. The location is very close to ferry station and major bus stop.
Everything looks old and makes me feel like they will fall apart at anytime. I have terrible nose allergy against dust and I cannot survive with their carpet floor. However, my friend who doesn't have the allergy has no problem with the room.
The staff at the hotel were amazing, very friendly and helpful, especially Francesco. We had Wi-Fi in the room, very convenient. Breakfast buffet was included in the cost.
The room could have been a little bigger. But the important thing is that it was clean.
Very spacious well appointed room. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location.
Breakfast wasn't fantastic. Limited choice and horrible coffee.
The location and the helpful staff
Location, facility, service
The hotels recommended by friends were fully booked, so I looked in that general neighborhood.and felt that the Hotel Centro offered a good price and the hotel was small, two qualities I wanted. The staff was friendly and honest about recommending restaurants for us to try, explaining that food at both was simply prepared, but used fresh ingredients. When we wanted to take a public bus, the staff warned us about pick pockets. The breakfast included in the hotel price wasn't fancy, but had everything from fresh fruit to chocolate croissants, plain cereals, different flavored yogurts, cold cuts and tomatoes. The wifi worked well, but there was no desk in the room, so we had to check and answer our e-mails lying on the bed. There was a desk in the hotel foyer, but we usually preferred to read and respond to e-mails in our room. .Although there was excellent air conditioning in the room, the hotel has a key system which saves energy, so when the guest leaves, the electricity shuts off. This is a smart, ecological system that should be installed throughout the wasteful United States, but the Hotel Centro had thick walls, and was on a narrow street, so our room retained its coolness even when we were gone for 5 or 6 hours in the 90 degree F. weather during the day..
The room was very small and we could not share the bathroom very much at the same time, but it still had everything. And as I explained in the paragraph about the good wifi, a desk to sit at in the room would have been a nice extra. Perhaps the staff would consider changing one of the bed side tables for a small desk. We were gone for about 5 hours one We did ask for two dry towels--it wasn't a big deal but it's always nicer to return to a tidy room.. .
