The privacy. The surroundings. The restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to leave the car and catch the bus into the city.
Clean, comfort, air conditioner
Stayed for 4 nights at Centro Turistico Città di Bologna in one of the chalets, had a double bed which was comfy. There was a fridge which was useful but it could do with a kettle. A cleaner comes and puts fresh towels in bathroom everyday. There were little safes located in reception where you could store valuables at no extra cost.
Centro Turistico Città di Bologna is located quite a way from the city centre, bus 68 leaves from outside reception (every 2 hours - 9am, 11am, 1pm etc.) which goes to Bus Station (near train station) and Millie (end stop) which is then a 10-15 minute walk from the centre. There was also bus 25 (stop was called Dozza) that was located 10-15 minute walk away through country lanes that was a lot more frequent and ran till a lot later too. It stopped at Bologna Centrale train station and stops closer to the centre. Hot water in the shower took quite a few minutes to come through. Also the shower head rarely stayed still as the pipe attached to it was damaged and bent. One of the guys on reception was very rude and had completely the wrong attitude for that kind of job. You're allowed 15 minutes wifi a day otherwise its €2 an hour which seems extreme considering they claim they are always busy and full so they could I'm sure lower the cost or make it free. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying at Centro Turistico Città di Bologna and personally wouldn't stay there again if I was to ever visit Bologna again. It's just too remote and not very good value for money.
Big nice bed, very clean, good heating system (in october it can be cold at night), extra blankets, quiet, good atmosphere in the room with nice little furniture. Room is quite small though.
When people walked in the cabin next to mine, the floor and the bed moved a little. like shaking. But the people next door were calm, so for me it was ok. You could hear voices in the bathroom from the people next door in their bathroom.
Quiet and clean The wall between bedroom and lounge area (where other beds are) is open at the top which is not good for snorers. Everything else was good. Camping area was quiet and peaceful.
Not sure of the purpose of locking up the kitchen bench area. Had access to fridge but not sink or cooker etc. apparently you need to stay at least 15 days to get access. Crazy considering its in the room.
Quiet location. On site restaurant and bar. Upgraded from room to what they call a villa. Helpful and accommodating staff. Public transport into town adequate. Additional Internet time not charged for.
Initially "free wifi" is limited to 15 mins per day with additional hours charged at €2,00 per hour. They gave me at no extra charge, additional time as the site was far from full. It may be that the limitation is due to bandwidth problems at peak times or, a money generator in peak times which my cynical self thinks. Feedback was left with the management.
-clean -quiet -parking
-unpleasant staff -only italian speaking (we tried english, french and spanish) -far from the city
The receptionist was very helpful knows good english too THe food at the restaurant was very good
The internet was very slow the bathroom was smelly
Chalet was excellent value - very well equipped. Good facilities onsite Good bus service
Food and drink quite expensive, though the cost of pitches/chalets excellent.
good location close to the city centre peace and quiet
in the beginning no access to the kitchen and sink absence of cutlery and plates swimming pool closed too early
Everything , it had all that we needed, clean, quiet and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The pool was lovely, but a shame it closed at 7pm. Could do with a little shop for essentials.
We loved the bungalow we stayed in. It was clean, spacious and quiet. The restaurant was good, cheap and had the Italian finesse. The staff was polite and helpful. We wish we had stayed longer.
The camping was hard to find by car. The 15-minute free Wi-Fi per person, each day, wasn't enough time. Everything else was just fine.
locked kitchen! very bad and paid internet
Location, swimming pool, bus stop right outside the camping, the bungallow
No use of bungallow kitchen. You must stay for a week to use the kitchen. Ridiculous!
The location. Maybe they should think of having their own shuttle bus to Bologna in order to provide tourists with a more frequent and reliable connection to the city.
The room was clean and the swimming pool was comfortable.
Inflexible staff: we would like to pay something extra for using the kitchen or a dayroom but they won't help us. Swimming pool is closed in the afternoon.
- Great, clean swimming pool - Nice chalet - TV - Airconditioning - Friendly personnel - 24 hours reception
- Bar is closed from 13:00 till 17:00 - Ants in our chalet - Location - Bed was dirty (duvet)! - Swimming pool closed from 13:00 till 14:00 - Poor breakfast - Bus times (bus no. 68) every 2 hours
Very nice place not far from city center. 10 min by Taxi (for about 12 €) and 15 min by bus. 2 buses are available; bus 68 ever 2 hrs. Between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.From the reception and bus 25 every 10 min till mid night from Dozza station 900 m. From hotel walking in a very nice and calm street. Clean swimming pool and very helpful and friendly staff. Very really enjoyed our stay and sure whenever it is possible to be in Bologna, I'll be in Hotel camping centro turistico.
Cafeteria works only from 8:00 am to 11:00 & from17:00 to 23:00. Too long break during the day.
The pool and the room was clean
Wifi for only 30 mins per day, attitude of the staff was not helpful
We were here for Rock in Idro and the location was 5minute walk from venue. Bus to city centre comes every 2 hours and is only about 15min journey. Bungalows are ideal and spacious enough. Perfect for our trip.
Bus could be more frequent during busy times.
The general layout of the site was good.
The distance from the main roads
Comfortable room. Clean bathroom.
The staff was very nice and helpful, at the complex there was a bar with great food and great service for a very low price. Highly recomended place to stay if you are on the road trip!
The bed cover was very light and it was cold fir me during the night
Site was clean and well looked after. Our room was cleaned every day and new towels provided even though we didn't ask. Bus service came right to the reception door. Good value for money.
Of the 5 staff, 3 were good but the other 2 had no idea how to treat customers. I think one of these must have been the manager as the others would immediately do what he asked, even when they were part way through sorting a problem for guests. It was very rude and unprofessional of him to butt in and disrupt matters as he did so often.
