The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the cocktail waiters.

My room was adequate but was at the top of the hotel under the eves. I only had two skylight windows.

Excellent hotel in the quiet area of Dorsoduro, just around the corner from the Guggenheim.

The room was on the small side for the price. They also recommended a restaurant in the area which was awful... they should check the places they suggest.

This was a very nice, modern high end hotel with a great location in Venice. Everything was easily accessed. Be prepared to pay for the comfort though. Room was modern with lots of space. View for afternoon drinks or lunch was great.

Staff was not overly friendly although they were helpful.

Amazing location, excellent breakfast by Grand Canal, very comfortable bed, lots of windows with good views, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful courtyard and foyer, interesting design throughout, Dorsoduro location perfect for a more restful visit while still being close to the sights.

Bathroom rather small, unreliable and weak WiFi which did not match the hotel's 5 star status. There was a lack of space for personal items in bedroom. The high quality design features seemed to have taken precedence over practicality in some instances eg no storage in bedside table and no drawers in dressing table

    Location Outside courtyard

THis isn't a 5*lux hotel. The superior Double partial view room was very small and the partial view was thro a tiny window so I feel it wasn't a true reflection of the room details. The room is located at the very top of the hotel in the roof space so slanting ceiling. You'd be better off going for a cheaper room as I believe they are bigger and more airy. Bathroom small. The room was very warm and sleeping an issue as air con was noisy.

ideal location with the delights of the Grand Canal to the front and quiet streets at the back which felt safe and were clean. All the hotel staff were very courteous, helpful, professional yet friendly

the prices for food in the hotel were rather steep but I guess this is in line with expectations in a five star hotel. Service and quality was of a high standard and this is what you pay for.

Really modern decor. Our Presidential suite was stunning. Very large lounge with windows opening onto the grand canal. Sun trap court yard. Bar tables and some restaurant tables on the canal. Staff extra helpful.

The food. Despite several michelin forks it was 'odd' and very small amounts. Just enough to feed a small cat.

Great location and restaurant/bar views. Lovely courtyard with trees. Interiors stylish.

All fine but not sufficient for 5* level: Beds too small. WiFi connection very poor. Staff nice but a bit approximate. No coffee or team machine in rooms.

We got married in Venice, and stayed in the hotel for the Friday and Saturday nights of our stay. The hotel put on our reception meal, which was absolutely lovely. The staff we're amazing. All the organising was done through email to Rachele, and on the day Mateo the first waiter was excellent. All the staff were very attentive and the food was lovely, compliments to the chef. We couldn't have asked for a better day, made all the more magical by our experience at the Centurion Palace. Lovely hotel, great location, fantastic staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was great. Would recommend to anyone.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, ...but I'm sure if we'd asked they'd have sorted it out...

we were returning guests, they put us in a small room, as returning guests we would have expected something larger.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, took really great care of us and were so nice and pleasant. The room itself is very comfortable. The location is a little away from the touristy areas, so it was a nice chance to explore Venice a bit more. Absolutely wonderful, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return.

The tables on the grand canal and the court were spectacular! Majorly the reson why I decided to book a room in this hotel. Service was good, anything I needed the reception would send me up someone immediately to help me.

The decor inside is quite horrible. Who would make a room acid green?! The closet was small and was made in a way that didn't se up the space well. The room was super cold, and the heating system is controlled centrally so everytime you want to change the temperature you hae to call the front desk, which I find a bit ridiculous. It's a pity that such a beautiful historical building has been butchered up with this kitsch decor in the whole hotel.

Staff were charming, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. The hotel was great and it was a wonderful place to relax in.

The hotel charging for WiFi when we are paying over €300 a day for the room. It is tight, miserly and thoroughly greedy and the staff were totally embarrassed at having to charge it to the room. The only blip in our lovely stay but an irritating one at that.

Modern looking the patio outside was great and breakfast room and lounge had lovely scenery of the canal.

Does need maintain .The bathroom shower had a see through door which was not convenient at all .we had a faulty toilette but was repaired adequate place to plug in your electrically eg charge a phone or PC.even one of the electri socket for iPhones was faulty.we arrived early but were told check in at 3 pm unfortunately we were checked in at 3:40 pm until rooms were ready.location was poor as u needed public transport to San Marco which is 7 euros per person we were 4 so it's expensive and walking distance wa around 20 min to San Marco .we had the idea that they provided free transfer from hotel to San Marco as it was just across but were told it's only during general disappointing .i would rather stay in Bauer and pay more but have a more better experience
