Hotel was close to train station. Very helpful staff. Good restaurants close by. It was a Friday night and the noise level on the street was pretty significant until the wee hours of the morning. Beds weren't very comfortable.

Friendly staff, good location. Doors are always closed, and you always have to go down three floors to ask to open them. It was very uncomfortable. Other big minus was that, there was no internet in the room.

Excellent location, near to trains, busses, restaurants. Room basic, but comfy. Shared bathrooms are not as big nuissance as I thought, there is a few of them and they are very clean. Main metal doors on upper floors are operated by receptionist only. Sometimes when he forgets to open it you have to go all the way down (three stories, and no lift!), and ask him to open it, then climb the steep stairs again. Nightmare! I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people who have difficulties making stairs.

Good location, just 5-10 min walk from Rome Termini Train Station. Room is clean and big enough. We had a twin room and it consisted a double bed and a single bed. Staff was very nice and helped me a lot We had to climb 3 floors to the room without a lift. Common area is not allowed to use after 1:00 am or 00:00 am. Wifi is only available in the reception area.

The staff was friendly, but sometimes there was a language barrier. It was very noisy outside the hotel and was hard to get to sleep until early hours of the morning.

Close to station Termini and restaurants. Shower gave very poor water. Poor lighting in the bathroom, I could not shave. Towels looked like tablecloth. No lift. The night before checking out we asked if we could pay with a creditcard. The answer was yes so we didn't get the cash. Next morning the other receptionist said it was impossible and denied everything. He told us that we had to pay 360 euro and when we came back he said it was without local taxes(16 euro extra). So we had to walk a mile to get the cash and missed our bus to the airport. This is a hotel for backpackers only so when your older or with children don't book this hotel.

Very good stuff, helpful and friendly. Location is very good for those who travel by train - the hotel is like 5 minutes walk from Termini station and metro station Termini is just 2 stops from Colosseo. The room was quite good, been cleaned every day. The street is quite noisy in the night, we had to sleep with our windows closed. The internet is nly in the lobby, not very fast. Very small shared shower.

Good location and helpful staff. Plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood. Supermarket and ATMs are close. The street is quite noisy and we saw some bugs in our room.

Location near Roma Termini station was the only advantage. Clean room, changed towels every day. Good for bunch of guys and backpackers. Our double-room had no air-conditioning and it was really warm inside. Opening the windows brought in too much of noise from the pizzeria and bars located all along the street. We had a private bathroom, but the shower was very bad. Go for it only if you are too concerned about the budget. Certainly not for couples or family.

Not too far of a walk from Roma Termini The room was too hot with a lot of street noise. Fortunately they were able to provide a fan. Also, the WiFi was non-existent in the room and only barely functional even in the reception area. The bathroom was tiny. There was also a roach on the bed.

We liked everything in this hotel - rooms were very clean, a hairdryers were in every room, the personel was nice and helpful, perfect location (5 min from Termini). On the opposite side of the hotel there is very nice italian restaurant (good prices and very good food, nice personel). I recommend this hotel if you want cheap and good room in Rome.

This hotel is located on a short walking distance from the Termini train station. From this hotel you can easily discover the city of Rome on foot. Unfortunately the staff was unkind. We occupied room 6. This room, without an air conditioning is in summertime really uncomfortable due the heat!!!. We shared the bathroom. The narrow douche cabin wasn't that comfortable too. Expect during high season nuisance from the nearby cafe. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Location close to Termini was good but being opposite to The Yellow was a real nuisance Room not cleaned everyday and dead beetle left in bathroom for 2 days- not really a problem but highlighted lack of daily cleaning Breakfast not included and that is not clear in the booking especially after searching scores of sites. Breakfast was included in another Hotel booking site Reluctance to pour a 2nd cup of coffee - good Roman hospitality!! Across the road is the rowdiness of The Yellow - young persons hostel/bar/restaurant which is extremely rowdy to all within a 50m even with closed windows Hotel door entry system was heavy and guests early and late made too much noisy slamming Won't go back to this hotel but thought Rome was fantastic PS BELOW Paisley not Palsley

The room cleaniness, although the hotel itself looked quite drab...and its excellent location...right in the heart of rome's termini station....and all emnities were within a 2 minute walking distance....buses, traimns, supermarket, pharmacy and the station itself where cafes and shops were in abandance....last but not least a good choice of restaurants were in the parameters of the hotel too... And cheaper with good food! It was a basic hotel but as I said very very clean...there is not anything I can really grumble about!

That is a family run business hotel since 1957. Its abs well maintained and is run by italians so you get to experience a wonderful latin feeling. It is excellent value for money and its a wonderful old building... That the bathroom does not have a pipe shower, Its just that I like that.

What a fantastic place to stay! Admittedly, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's close to some lovely restaurants, central (without being too central!) and the staff were lovely. The maids did a fantastic job also and were very friendly - after staying in over 20 different hotels all through Europe, the cleaning here was by far the best.

Good location, easy to get to from the train station, also buses to/from the airport. Very nice pizza place across the road. Noisy. Buzzer to get in the door went all night and very loud. Shared bathrooms are very small and toilets are in the same room as the shower.

Hotel Cervia is in a great location, beside the train station, but only a short walk and you're in the centre of Rome. There are lots of great restaurants beside the hotel too. Staff are friendly and room was great, basic but clean with a good shower. All in all great value for money and highly recommended
