Chalet Chez Nous  

The hotel is located in a charming old house, in the old part of Jouvenceaux. It is in a 5 minute walk to the ski lift, almost on the same height (no need to go up or down). The atmosphere is very friendly, very family-like. The staff is very helpful. After a day of skiing, it was a pleasure to sit in the lobby, under the arched ceiling, before the hearth, with a beer or hot mulled wine from the bar. The breakfast buffet is rich, with juice, cheese, sausage, eggs, croissants, a home-made cake, and so on and on, and an excellent cappuccino. There is also a free wifi. All features in the room looked also new, everything very functional.

I had a double room for myself alone, which was OK. However, for a couple, I would be prefer a bigger room.

Fabulous! A perfect hotel in a perfect location with excellent hosts. Superb room and bathroom - ideal for families with older children. The scenery in the area of this villa is breathtaking in summer, so in winter it must be spectacular. Right next to a ski lift which would be ideal in the ski season, although the lift was open for visitors in July - it seems to be a popular place for extreme mountain biking, so the bikes and riders regularly go up on the chairlift and ride down! We had an excellent meal in a neighbouring hotel - really genuine local Italian cooking. Would love to revisit in the winter. The village centre is quite a busy looking place, but in summer it is quite calm and quiet.

Slightly difficult to find once you reach the village, but if you persevere un following the direction notices displayed you really will find it!

Very calm and quiet position, nice and large bathroom. The owner was very kind and gave us breakfast in the morning even if much after the regular breakfast time.

Not too easy to find if you don't know the place, the Google map on the website doesn't point to the exact location.

Tutta la struttura é molto caratteristica e molto molto carina.Anche la famiglia che la gestisce é veramente molto accogliente e disponibile.Abbiamo trovato proprio un bel posto dove soggiornare e un`accoglienza ottima!

Parkplatz nicht beim Haus

За разумные деньги, рядом с подъемником (действительно 100 метров), вежливые хозяева, комфортные номера. Деревня, где находится отель, очень маленькая, там всего один ресторан. Очень удобное место для тех, кто хочет в спокойной обстановке и без лишнего пафоса покататься на лыжах - именно в этом вы получите максимальное удовольствие. Если же нужна богатая ночная жизнь, много молодежи т.д. - то это не сюда. На этот курорт, в основном, приезжают итальянцы, французы, англичане уже в меньшей степени.

Т.к. приезжаешь на длительное время и кататься на лыжах, то было бы комфортнее, если бы: номера были побольше, было бы место, где можно было бы каждый день после лыж стирать и сушить одежду (в т.ч. термобелье), где-то рядом была бы сауна, а по ТВ русские каналы. Это скорее пожелания, но не недостатки.

Chalet caratteristico, ben ristrutturato. Camera confortevole, buona colazione e gestione famigliaremolto simpatica.

Chambre très propre; salle de bain parfaite; accueil sobre mais chaleureux.

Può essere un problema per chi ha molti bagagli (il parcheggio si trova a circa 100 mt. In salita). Le pareti sono un pò sottili

Nos ha gustado todo!! Es un sitio maravilloso para pasar las vacaciones de esquí. El pueblo es bonito y muy tranquilo, el hotel es precioso, la ubicación excelente y los dueños son encantadores y muy atentos. Esperemos poder volver para la próxima temporada.

La zona aperitivo davanti al camino è favolosa.Un bel momento.

Non ci sono piaciute le coperte , corte e strette.in montagna basta un semplice piumone no?

tres bon accceuil, patrons sympas, decor ancien chalet mais prestations modernes, tres calme dans vieux village sans voitures.

L'accoglienza e la disponibilità dei gestori, la libertà e le caratteristiche della camera assieme alla pulizia, Ottima la colazione.

A wonderful small b & b located in the old part of Sauze D'Oulx, close to the Frejus tunnel. A family run business, which made us very welcome. Rooms were adequate, but not large, whilst the breakfast was very good.

Access is not for the faint-hearted being in the old part of the village, and the hotel is a bit difficult to find. Helpfully the owner came out to find us, but parking has to be off-site, in a public area, as no parking overnight is possible in front of the hotel. Would however, not be put of using again.
