The entire stay was perfect.. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room we had was beautiful and so luxurious. The spa was delightful and spotlessly clean. Perfect location just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. When I return to Milan this will definitely be where I stay again... Can't rate it highly enough!

What's not to like? The design of the hotel defies to usual luxury hotels' boring design. The rooms are designed to be cosy, and it definitely is. The rooms were appropriately lit, the TV had wide range of channels and the interior décor was just amazing. Bed was big and comfy with 2 pillows each. Toilet was big and had all the amenities necessary. There was the rainshower facility and the water was hot and good. Fresh clean towels were provided too! The porters were very helpful in the luggage and offering us umbrellas as it was raining. Reception was helpful too with directions and helping us with bookings within Milan. Location was a bit far from the nearest Metro but the bus stop is just located right outside the hotel and bus 61 brought us to wherever we wanted to! An amazing stay. Definitely recommended if you have the budget.

Location is a little far from the nearest Metro (15-20 mins walk) especially when you arrive with large and heavy luggage. Travelling by bus (54 or 61) or tram (9) is advisable as it stops just outside the hotel.

This was my first trip to Milan and I am so glad I have chosen Chateau Monfort! It is located in the heart of the city, 15 minutes walk to Duomo. The building, design of the hotel and the service is absolutely brilliant. This is something so different from any other "standard hotel"-type that makes you enjoy. I got a suite on the last floor which was excellent - with opening moon-roof and bath. Enjoyed every minute of being in this hotel and will definitely be back! Also - don't miss a chance to listen to live music in the bar in the evenings - the ambiance is fantastic.

The design, furniture and decortion of the room and the internal of the hotel was very nice and beautiful color. Unforgetable. It was very 5 stars hotel

The size of the room was very tiny. If it was bigger it will make a huge different. The location of the hotel is far from the centre of the city (doumo piazza)

Everything, the staff was excellent and very helpful in getting impossible tickets etc, the room was spotless and very confortable. The location is good anf the food good! Nothing to complain about!

The price of breakfast is on the high side.

My room wasn't made during a whole day once -- not after my reminder at 3pm, not later despite the signs and phone calls. The design is quite quirky and frankly puts novelty before comfort -- rooms can easily accommodate a bath, instead they have a glass shower cubicle in the middle with transparent walls -- inconvenient. Location is NOT 8 mins from Duomo -- more like 15 minutes by car Immediate vicinity has a soup kitchen nearby.

I liked the decor, the attention to detail, the staff, friendliness and helpfulness, the location and the atmosphere.

5 minutes walk to Via Spiga. Nice design. Price/quality ratio is good.

The hotel is 5 stars but not 5 stars luxury. The rooms are pretty small with small windows. Usually we are staying in Principe Di Savoia - much better place for similar price.
