In the lively Chiaia neighborhood, Hotel Majestic is in the most exclusive shopping district in Naples. All rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV.
Score from 717 reviews Very good
The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.
Score from 1783 reviews Very good
The Hotel Principe Napolit'amo has a great location right in the heart of Naples along the Via Toledo pedestrian boulevard.
Score from 487 reviews Good
Set in a quiet area near the Molo Beverello harbor and Castel dell'Ovo, Rex Hotel offers a central location close to public transportation and main monuments of Naples.
Score from 581 reviews Very good
The setting of the hotel is nice. While modern, it retains some of the old charm, particularly visible in the antique furniture.
Lively area. Felt safe and good restaurants etc nearby. Easy walking to port, historical centre
Breakfast was minimal - "there's no fruit on Sunday" to explain why there was no fruit on Monday. Overlooked very noisy pedestrian aide street
Very helpful and happy staff.
The service was good. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Location convenient on pedestrian street with many shops and restaurants just a few steps outside the front door In a safe environment.
Room too small with no view..very confining....
The location on a pedestrian street. The pro-active staff who suggested and arranged excursions. Good breakfast buffet. Opportunity to trade English language books in lobby.
Ducking our heads to get through the medieval entrance. Occasionally noisy dinners in the restaurant below.
Never stay here or in Naples
Location, very helpful staff. Transfer to rail station is fixed price with taxi, the taxi arrives promptly and the service is reasonably priced
wifi a little slow, air con in room not great, but windows do open.
The location was great, lots of shops and eateries around. Close to bus and taxi pickups
The location and the staff
the WC wasn't clean enough and it smells a Little bit.
We liked the location near the piazza and port. The breakfast was good.
No windows in the room.
We stopped off here for a night before flying out of Naples early in the morning. The staff were really friendly - booked taxi to the airport and offered good restaurant recommendations. It was a good central, safe location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We arrived in the late afternoon and left early in the morning and fit out needs perfectly.
Beautiful high ceilings and bay window overlooking via Chiaja a charming pedestrian only road filled with small boutique shops. Very nice breakfast included. Excellent staff always friendly and willing to help. I believe the building was once part of the kings palace.
The bedhead was made of thin metal and provided no support to sit up in bed and was noisy. It looked good but was just impractical. This would not stop me from booking this lovely hotel again however.
We stayed at The Chiaja Hotel for 4 nights last month-July, 2014. We could not fault the facilities, location and helpfulness of the staff. They all went out of their way to make our stay in Naples memorable. I inadvertantly left an electric shaver in a bedside cabinet. They located it for me and kindly forwarded it on. Don't let others put you off staying in Naples. It is an exciting, vibrant, interesting and beautiful city.
We have stayed in many hotels in Naples before but the Chiaja is our favorite so far. Very friendly staff, the location for shopping is perfect (on the right a high street (LV, Prada, etc.) on the left via Toledo for low budget). Very quiet pedestrian area as well. We travelled with a 2 years old child which sometimes can be stressful but the staff was warm hearted and helpful. Also excellent position for sight seeing!
Breakfast ok Staff ok
Rooms tried to be shabby chic, just shabby. Bad smell from bathroom Every time you left room air con went off.
So noisy! Impossible to sleep without earplugs if your room overlooks the street. Dirty walls and bathroom. Really old facilities in need of modernisation .
Location is very good, hotel deco is nice and cosy, staff very friendly
Breakfast a little lacking
Best location in the whole Napoli. Very cute hotel with very ``Italy`` style and location. Very very romantic and nice staff. But Napoli IS dangerous, we was nearly robbed two(2) times on four days.
small rooms but nice balcony.
Central location off busy shoppping street but very quiet. Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable rooms and the evening pattiserie in the lounge a nice treat. Close to port, shopping areas and public transport. Good value city hotel with character.
Charming and helpful staff. Smallish room, but clean and adequate. A good choice for Naples
Chaia is the main walking street of Naples. So no traffic noise, but lots of people noise. As long as a/c works, you're fine.
Location and helpfulness of staff with assisting me and been helpful n kind with preparations(pen, scissors, dress and and offer of a ironing service)stayed for friends wedding,, and most definite stay again if I travel to naples.
Location in the historical area of the city.
Noisy pedestrian street on Saturday
The hotel was difficult to find and the taxi could not take you right to the door as it is in a walking precinct
The staff were charming and helpful. The location was superb. The wifi was great in the room. The 35 Euro airport transfer to the hotel was efficient and useful as the hotel isn't easy to find. The breakfast was excellent.
The shower door wasn't effective and there was inadequate shelving in the bathroom - minor matters.
Very expensive for what it was
