If you are looking for a relaxing break in a peaceful location where the only sound is the birds singing, Villa Sant’Uberto is perfect.
Score from 172 reviews Very good
This rustic, 15th century building, originally a working water-mill, has been carefully restored and transformed into a charming B&B in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.

Located in the historical region of Chianti Classico, this hotel is set in the hills between San Casciano Val di Pesa and Greve in Chianti.
Score from 13 reviews Good
The place amenities were pretty good, but the bugs made almost impossible to enjoy the swimming pool and the private garden. This isn't the owner's fault, obviously, is just a head's up for you to get real about what your are going to find and to remember you to carry lots of bug repellent with you! Also not as a critique to the place itself but we choose it to visit different places in Tuscanny... and what we didn't think of was that to get out of the zone you have to drive at least half an hour through serpent roads until you get into a highway... so be careful if you get dizzy while driving. Apart from that you will be received, given your basic instructions about the place and be left alone. That will be a pro for some people and a con for others. Ah, and last but not least, dunno why we thought they served breakfasts but, as I said, that wasn't there because there is no one, except to receive you and clean after you leave. And also we thought there was some kind of bike rental service but there isn't any (at least not provided by the owner).
Beautiful place, nice pool!
The air inside our house was quite humid, the house was nice but unfortunately not that clean :(
All the rest
Nice room and pool! Beautiful surroundings. Rustic.
Wifi worked badly. Quite moist in the room. Tea boiler rotten.
4 independent wifi sources, meant that you could stay up to date with your emails even by the pool (but not in the room due to thick walls)
Problematic to reach the hotel by phone, neither to confirm the time of arrival, nor to ask about directions when we got lost The description of the room includes a private garden, but our room was just in the main building overlooking other rooms. The room was dark and smelled of damp, but that's probably due to how old it was. All the dishes were quite dirty, and overall I felt quite unsatisfied with the cleanliness Even though we had a kitchen, we were informed, that the room does not include the pans, so we had to borrow them off our neighbour next door, who had about 12 of them.. (Arguably not a huge issue, but shows the weird attitude of the owner). Pool contained a lot of chlorine It is impossible to walk to Radda, so car is really the only option. Nowhere to go for a walk Perhaps better as a budget place for large families than a couple
The pool and grounds are nice
Our 'classic' room was like a cellar. The floor was stained and not possible to properly clean. The only staff on hand was a cleaner who came for a few hours a day - she was v nice but had to handle all the cleaning and the guest transactions. The suite was run down and smelled damp , more like a storeroom for vegetables than a hotel! When we complained they simply said our room had been cleaned and no alternative was available. I would urge you to seek better value in this area ! This place is poor value . Not recommended at all.
Beautiful country setting. Spacious, well laid out room. Outside tables, great for a drink and to relax and take in the scenery.
Took a while to sort out the heating, as no instuctions. No staff present for most of our stay, had to leave a note to get an extra pillow, the next day. Wifi very poor.
We had the suite which was a little set apart from the rest of the building overlooking the pool. It was very peaceful and the room was amazing - 4 poster bed, heating and lovely bathroom. Although we didn't have a kitchen (the apartments were fully booked) we did have a very useful fridge - the only thing we missed was a table.
Maybe it was because we had the separate suite but the wifi connection was awful - not a problem if you are out all day but it would have been nice to use for information about the local area.
Location, views, peaceful, lovely pool, the apartment was part of lovely old farmhouse, private, could sit outside and enjoy the view of vineyards in the valley, the village of Radda is lovely. Had a great pizza at Pizza Pie.
Nothing - just dont try walking to the village - we turned back and got the car instead, due to narrow roads with nowhere to hide from traffic.
Fabulous setting, really nice room overlooking pool with our own terrace. Perfect.
Very curt greeting when we arrived making it clear we were not welcome until 4pm. Rather long uphill walk into Radda meant we had to drive in for dinner. Car parking.
Great location. Friendly staff. Rustic accommodation with good amenities like pool.
Friendly staff but did not have much knowledge of local interests. But it did not affect our stay at all.
Great stay, fantastic accommodation, our room was superior with garden view, breakfast fantastic. Good staff, very friendly and kind, they love this job. Good dinner service. The pool is fantastic and the all property well tend. We will be back for sure very soon and this time with friends.
Very good location with very accomodating staff, the setting was awesome and the rooms very well presented. Would definitley visit again
For me there was nothing to dislike.
