Hotel Michelangelo is just 1000 ft from the Valdarno exit of the A1 Highway, South of Florence. It offers free parking, a gym, and rooms with LCD Sky satellite TV and minibar.
Score from 431 reviews Excellent
The hotel is located in a small village just about 40 minutes in bus from Florence and the bus stop is in front. It was very clean (but it is an old building so the things are not modern!), the breakfast typical italian - sweet :) There is no noise during the night and we slept very good. It has a big garden and a pool (we didn´t use it because of the weather).
It has no wi-fi nor a computer to connect. Lots of mosquitos around - take something with you. The village has nothing to offer so you have to go to Florence or Greve or just stay in the hotel. The staff was OK, but I heard them complaining (using bad words) about customers in front of me, which I found not professional at all.
Host is rude! Insulting and vulgar!
friendly staff, easy parking, great restaurant, economic country hotel in Chianti
no wifi, bathroom a bit cramped
Reasonably large apartment for the money. The attached restaurant is genuinely excellent.
Everything feels a bit cheap and a bit dingy. The town is one strip of road that only has houses. No wifi.
Cold. Apartmant was freezing first night. Second day get warmer . Bathroom shover is bad.
Location - it's easy to get there. Breakfast served in restaurant nearby was good.
It was hard to find some hotel's staff.
The place was comfortable and pleasant. It was also really affordable too.
The location was not what we were expecting. We were hoping the hotel was in the town of Greve, not outside of it.
The hotel was easy to find, was well maintained and reasonably comfortable. Nice grounds and reasonably priced food in the restaurant. Most of the staff were nice and friendly
The man looking after the reception area was uttelry un communicative. The first day when we arrived he was unhelpfulwhich surprised me as italians have not been this way in my experience. I dod an experiment after that to see what would happen during the stay. Despite passing him three to four times a day for the next four on no occasion did he make the slightest attempt to even say hello let alone engage with us to find out if everything was ok. total grouch which would turn me off recommending the place
Room was small I mean too small and shower and bathroom very old including towels . Smoke every where since staff smoke and you can smell in the room. I will not stay there and won't recommend to anyone . And most important no WIFI Every bar and cafe has wifi and this place doesn't have
