Hotel Chiara  

We chose this hotel because of the very good reviews we'd read - and we weren't disappointed. We received a warm welcome; the staff were friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. A good sized room with a comfortable bed, and large clean bathroom. Really good breakfast buffet - all kinds of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, ham, cheeses, croissants and pastries etc - which we enjoyed eating out on the terrace. The hotel was in a quiet residential area, so very peaceful at night - but only five minutes walk from the lakeside and local restaurants and bars. Melissa gave us good tips for local restaurants (we particularly enjoyed La Foresta). We were really pleased that we'd chosen to stay here.

The Hotel is not far from the lake and situated in a quiet street. Parking the car is easy, because if the space on the Hotel-ground is occupied there is enough space in the street, close to the Hotel. Breakfast is fine and the staff helpfull and friendly

You could hear very much the sounds of the other rooms. And in our room there was no curtain in the bathroom, because the curtain-holder was broken, so we had to keep the shutter closed all day long. The furniture of the room is functional but not stylish at all.

Lovely small hotel although the decor is a little dated. Service and cleanliness are superb and the hotel is great value for money. Well worth a visit and located on a quiet street, very peaceful. Breakfast or evening drinks on the terrace is fabulous. Staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in recommending things to see & do and places to eat,etc. A special mention to Melissa at reception who was always happy to help and made our stay very enjoyable

Decor is a little dated although the hotel is very clean

De eigenaars van dit hotel zijn zeer gastvrij en doen hun uiterste best om de gasten het naar hun te laten hebben. Zonder overigens opdringerig te zijn. Uiteindelijk kon ik vanwege prive-omstandigheden, 1 dag minder aanwezig zijn. Daar werd geheel niet moeilijk over gedaan en de rekening was gebaseerd op het daadwerkelijk aantal dagen. Zeer coulant! De kamers zijn overigens, juist vanwege hun soberheid (geen misplaatste kunst aan de wand) comfortabel. Het ontbijt dat geboden wordt, is van een prima kwaliteit en zeer divers. Een echte aanrader dus!

Vétusté de certains matériels : climatisation et réfrigérateur de la chambre ne fonctionnaient pas,support de douche mal fixé. Parking limité.

Die Athmosphäre ist sehr familiär und angenehm, die Mitarbeiter überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist gut und es gibt rund um das Hotel schöne Restaurants. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und man konnte nach ausgedehnten Wanderungen sich noch gut erholen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Klimaanlage sehr gut abgestimmt.

Leider sehr hellhörig und viel Lärm von der Straße.

Am Hotel Chiara haben uns gefallen die unheimlich netten Mädels am Empfang, die ausgezeichnet Deutsch sprechen und sich immer Zeit nehmen für Fragen, gleich welcher Art. Das Hotel liegt zentral, so daß man am Abend zu Fuß viele nette Lokale erreichen kann. Auch zum See ist es nicht weit zu laufen. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es recht ruhig. Das Frühstück war vielfältig (Brot, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Ei, Obst. Joghurt und Kaffee und Säfte) und alles gut und frisch. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das allerneueste, aber gepflegt und alles sehr sauber. Auch der Pool und die Liegen, alles sehr sauber. Auch fürs Auto sind genug Plätze in oder ums Hotel rum vorhanden.
