We were going to stay in the centre of Sirmione but for cost and facilities chose Hotel Chiara. It was exceptional. The staff namely Cinzia and Melissa were fabulous. Very courteous, helpful and friendly (to say nothing of speaking a number of languages fluently). Nothing was too much trouble. Location was excellent. Quiet street close to shops restaurants etc and easy to get to other sites eg Verona, Mantua and around Lake Garda and into centre of Sirmione itself. Free car parking was a bonus. The hotel was one of the best we stayed in in Italy. Large rooms, excellent facilities and very reasonable. We loved, loved, loved Italy and this was a definite highlight. Cinzia also helped me retrieve my travel documents that I'd left in La Spezia - special thanks. Roger and Mandy Tasmania, Australia.

Lovely small hotel although the decor is a little dated. Service and cleanliness are superb and the hotel is great value for money. Well worth a visit and located on a quiet street, very peaceful. Breakfast or evening drinks on the terrace is fabulous. Staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in recommending things to see & do and places to eat,etc. A special mention to Melissa at reception who was always happy to help and made our stay very enjoyable Decor is a little dated although the hotel is very clean

De eigenaars van dit hotel zijn zeer gastvrij en doen hun uiterste best om de gasten het naar hun te laten hebben. Zonder overigens opdringerig te zijn. Uiteindelijk kon ik vanwege prive-omstandigheden, 1 dag minder aanwezig zijn. Daar werd geheel niet moeilijk over gedaan en de rekening was gebaseerd op het daadwerkelijk aantal dagen. Zeer coulant! De kamers zijn overigens, juist vanwege hun soberheid (geen misplaatste kunst aan de wand) comfortabel. Het ontbijt dat geboden wordt, is van een prima kwaliteit en zeer divers. Een echte aanrader dus!

Hôtel situé à 200m du lac. Pour aller à la vieille ville de Sirmione il faut 40 minutes à pied mais c'est agréable car le long du lac. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent! L'accueil est charmant. Parking et wifi sont compris. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Pas bien insonorisé.

Am Hotel Chiara haben uns gefallen die unheimlich netten Mädels am Empfang, die ausgezeichnet Deutsch sprechen und sich immer Zeit nehmen für Fragen, gleich welcher Art. Das Hotel liegt zentral, so daß man am Abend zu Fuß viele nette Lokale erreichen kann. Auch zum See ist es nicht weit zu laufen. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es recht ruhig. Das Frühstück war vielfältig (Brot, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Ei, Obst. Joghurt und Kaffee und Säfte) und alles gut und frisch. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das allerneueste, aber gepflegt und alles sehr sauber. Auch der Pool und die Liegen, alles sehr sauber. Auch fürs Auto sind genug Plätze in oder ums Hotel rum vorhanden. Wände etwas hellhörig

hotel chiara accueillant, le personnel est à notre disposition très sympathique et à l'écoute du client. Dommage que nous puissions pas manger le soir, après une journée de visite, pas trop envie de ressortir, sinon ras.

Das Hotel ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum von Colombare entfernt. Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass die Hotelbesitzerin und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sind. Das Hotel ist einfach ausgestattet, aber dennoch sehr gemütlich. Ein kleiner Tresor ist im Zimmer vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist gut. Müsli, Obst, Brötchen, Joghurt und Aufschnitt- alles vorhanden. Zu den Getränken aus der Bar werden immer Kleinigkeiten wie Kekse, Nüsse oder Chips gereicht.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gepflegter Pool. Klasse Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Sehr zu empfehlen. Waren dort als Familie mit 2 Kindern (18 und 15 Jahre alt)

Die Besitzer sind sehr ,sehr freundlich - hilfsbereit und sprechen super deutsch. Hotellage optimal in einer ruhigen Strasse . Zum shoppen und gut essen nur eine Gasse weiter.wir fühlten ubs sehr wohl und können das Hotel nur empfehlen . Durch den Garten u Pool auch für Kids super . Frühstück voll lecker und viel Auswahl -

heel goed gelegen hotel rustig en toch dicht bij winkels en restaurants, zeer vriendelijke eigenaars (eigenlijk zijn alle Italianen hier erg vriendelijk) , dit is een van de weinige vakanties waar we zekers terug naar toe zouden gaan, heel goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.
