close to the airport, and for a budget friendly hotel it was what one would expect.

after 2 weeks of staying at some nice places we were kind of disappointed

Big clean room,friendly helpful staff special mention to Emmanuelle, David,Franco(Nero),Valter & Juliano. Bus stops (Cotral 1.5euros)to Fiumicino airport -> Vatican City(8euros return by Terravision coach- 40 mins ride) and Ostia (Cotral 1.5euros) is just across the hotel but requires careful crossing the dual carriageway. Buy bus tickets at the tobacco shop opposite the bus stop. Needs a bit of patience waiting if you miss the bus otherwise timetable is available. Hotel also offers transport at a good price, we've tried it, before we found our way to getting the buses.We enjoyed our 10 days stay and used most of the transports available. Shuttle bus from airport (station17) to hotel 10 min. Away is 6 euros pp.

Awesome value for money, we were upgraded to a triple room free of charge for our young daughter, good clean room, breakfast room has some brilliant memorabilia , friendly staff. We stayed in the complex roughly 100m away, very easy walk, train close by in Ostia to get to Rome, hotel exceeded expectations. Excellent base if you want to explore Rome.

Needs shower curtain in bathroom otherwise perfect.

Nice inexpensive hotel very close to the airport. Excellent personnel - many thanks to the receptionist who helped us a lot when we had to book air tickets at night :) Very good breakfast.

Everything was ok. Yes, the hotel is pretty basic but it is a good value for money unlike many other budget hotels. No problems at all here, go ahead and book if you need to stay in Fiumicino.

Stayed here to be close to the airport. Good value for the money. Surprisingly good dinner in the hotel restaurant, Friendly, helpful staff. Good clean recently remodelled room. Bed was a little more comfortable than most we have stayed in. Breakfast buffet was about average.

The hotel has (at least) two locations: the main hotel and another one about a block away. We were in that one, which, unlike the main hotel, had no wi-fi (we brought our laptop back to the hotel lobby). Both complexes are in a commercial area with nothing useful within walking distance.

It look's like a museum!!! Nice one!!!

room reaks of cigarettes, beds uncomfortable, shower hose to head was ripped and i could not shower, when told staff, no effort to apologize and or attempt to make up for it. will not return

We are mother and daughter and needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning takeoff. We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel Chopin which we booked through the internet. One thing we didn't like was the the room was obviously used by smokers, though it was clean.

Nicely decorated and plenty of facilities

Thevroom was quite dirty. The toilet brush was floating in dirty water. The drinking glass in the bathroom was dirty and had toothpaste in and lots of dust particularly under the bed, however bedding was clean which is the main thing.

A curious and different hotel experience. Full of a 2ww pilots memorabilia, and rather gothic with pillars, statues and antique furniture. Restaurant was inexpensive and good Italian food, grand portions in again gothic surroundings, good service.

If you are looking for a modern, plastic, ultra-spotless characterless hotel this is not for you.

It's near to the aeroport Leonardo da vinci. I only stay one night, next day we go to another room in center of Rome. We do the check in at 11:40 pm and the staff was very fast doing it. The service "shuttlebus" for the train was very nice. It's perfect for one night.

The decoration of the hotel it´s a little bit scary, theres so must staff of every theme in the lobby! ! The breakfast was very poor. The taxi driver dont like to leave us at the hotel, because it's only 3km and he went crazy when we say the name of the hotel. They only like leave tourists at Rome, because they make more money, At least we pay 18 euros for 3km. If we know, we ask more informations about shuttle bus for the hotel.

Able to get back to airport within 10 minutes.

Getting to hotel from airport was problematic. Only by luck did we stumble on transport shuttle, and that was after calling hotel for assistance! Room was in separate bldg. a block away. We were transported at check in but had to fend for ourselves at departure....with our luggage. Awakened at 3 am by noise of other guests.

The staff were friendly, and could speak English, we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Although we were in the budget accommodation it was very clean, and good for what we needed for the 2 nights. The shuttle bus was a bonus. Thank you all.

Room and bathroom is very bad.

Nothing at all.all electricity was fusing and we got no compensition or apology. So bad. Breakfast was a joke. Bad coffee and if, if you wanted another cup it had to be paid for?

All above and more. We arrived at 8.30 and didn't,t get a bed till after midnight. Dirty floors and a filfty shower. On check out I asked to use the toilet. I was told no! I have just washed the floor. I would like some sort of com pension. Please reply.

Decent breakfast.

They were having a major electrical problem. Lights flickered off and on for several hours. Some people had been dealing with thep roblem for half a day already. We didn't have air conditioning until 11:30 at night. We never did have electricity or lights in the bathroom. There was no attempt on the part of the staff to "make it right" with any kind of refund., I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for the cost we paid for this one.

On our arrival at the hotel the receptionist was curtious and helpful . he advised us about a taxi for the next morning and ordered one for us. He called the porter to help with the bags.

When we booked on the internet we had to book 2 rooms, 1 in the main hotel and the other in the annexe. Our children were in the main hotel.We went to our room to have a shower( there was no shower curtain). After having a shower I went to the other room in the hotel and the difference in quality was huge. I asked for a similar room but they would not change it as we had used the shower. In the evening we wanted to eat elsewhere but the hotel was so isolated that we could not go out without crossing a busy main road with no crossing, so we had to eat in the hotel which was very poor quality food. In the morning we had to go to the airport early and there was no hot water in our room. I went to reception and they said they could do nothing until 8am. I had to insist on another room in which to have a shower.

My first room was filthy and smoking room...I Was bumped on my flight and had to pay Euro for Internet fco to get a hotel for layover...price looked reasonable for fco and I had put into the system: wifi, shuttle service, and wrote them clean with no smoke and no pet room. On my arrival to this small place with nothing near, my first words I heard was "you owe 6 euro for the shuttle" (one way) and when I said it was included he showed me at the bottom of the form it said "surcharge" always look for the word free when looking for "Included" hotel amenities in Italy. The clerk changed my room and the next one was clean, beds were hard but that seemed to be standard for Italy Hotels...breakfast was really Great, I was surprised! The pool/spa was a block away and the spa jets were not working but a rough looking older man with a cigarette dangling from his mouth while cleaning the pool, kindly plugged in "something" so the bubblers would work for me even though the jets didn't he was rough looking but very kind! The shuttle service was additional 12 euros round trip and you have to wait for the shuttle to run and list for your return and also ask where to look for shuttle at airport pickup and the restaurant next door to hotel was kind but the meat smelled old on my sandwich so I took it put and ate tomato bread and delicious cheese..I Hope this helps if you are considering a hotel stay.
