Hotel Carla is personally run by the Tuvo family, who welcome you to the Cinque Terre area. Centrally in Levanto, the property is 440 yards from the Ligurian Sea. Free parking is available nearby.
Score from 373 reviews Excellent
Villa Clelia is just 165 ft from the seaside in Levanto, and features a free shuttle service to/from the train station. All rooms overlook the garden, which has a gazebo with tables and chairs.
Score from 227 reviews Excellent
In central Levanto, Il Veliero is a 5-minute walk from the beach and a short boat or train ride from the villages of the Cinque Terre. It has its own scuba diving center and small garden.
Score from 170 reviews Very good
Once a water mill, B&B Vignola now offers an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant, and an on-site market. It is just one mile from Levanto in the Cinque Terre. All rooms have private bathrooms.
Score from 251 reviews Excellent
The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The place itself is calm and relaxing, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room. We decided to stay in Levanto as a base for Cinque terre and it was a good choice. The owner gave us a parking pass so we drove to train station (5 mins) and parked our car there for free with no issues . Then it was around 5 min train ride to Monterosso where we started our hiking.
Everything was good. The only thing is that the location is not in the centre of Levanto, so to eat in the evening we had to drive and then had hard time to find a parking spot.
owner was very cind and helpful, breakfast was fresh and natural, homemade jam...
location is more than 2 km to center, and walking at night, not recomendet without flashlight.
Just a positive experience, very friendly owner, good value for money
With some little improvements it could to be 9+ : 1. maybe something on the room floor - as it is it could be a cold feeling leaving the bathroom 2. maybe a bit more variations for breakfast, some fruit ... - even if it mean a few € more
A little piece of heaven on the very edge of the town under the hills. Peaceful and quiet, away from the busyiness and crowds in the town itself. The owner and his family were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Arrived by train to find a limited bus and taxi service available, but a phone call to Cicale de Mare meant we were collected within 5 minutes. Bicycles were available, but we enjoyed walking to and from town, beach or station each day, a leisurely 15-20 mins. away. Ideally situated for discovering the Cinque Terre and a haven to return to after battling crowds all day!
This is not a criticism, but a car and GPS would certainly make it easier to find Cicale De Mare on arrival and probably necessary for those with limited mobility.
Clean and hosts pleasant and obliging.
Breakfast was very basic. Only small morsels of bread and jam.Orange juice and coffee but nothing in cereal or toast or fresh fruit or yoghurt or cooked breakfast. Location difficult to find and misleading from their advertising. We thought it was on the water and it was up in the hills.
Staff of dad and 2 sons were excellent . Could not do enough for us.
Got off to a rough start…no one was there when we arrived and did not know what the + meant in front of phone numbers. Be sure and call ahead. Booking might tell travelers of the + sign.
Giancarlo and Daniel provide a wonderful welcome and are very attentive. The B&B is remote but it works very well with the blue parking pass for the train station which is provided. It was a pleasure to wake up here and come back to at the end of the day.
It might be helpful to mention that a typically Italian sweet breakfast is on offer. It is perfectly good, but those who need to keep a cap on sugar levels may find fresh orange juice, bread & jams and cake problematical.
The owners were very nice with us, warming and caring. They take care of every single detail, we liked it so much that we decided to be an extra night, but unfortunately they didn't have availability. However they contacted other hotel of the area and they booked a room for us, making much easier the change of hotel. It is a very recommendable option if you go with the car, specially because they give you the parking pass to park anywere in Levanto without paying.
The hospitality of the hosts Very good breakfast Quiet neighborhood
Average cleanliness Poor equipment in the room
The friendly owners, the value during the prime vacation time, free parking passport provided, parking and the wonderful treats backed by Nona
Only being able to stay two nights
Really nice and helpful staff, great home made breakfast, fine location.
Hosts were great, room and ensuite good. Probably need car as little far to walk to Levanto, but great posie to catch train for Cinque Terre
Very cozy, comfortable room (ours was the lemon room) with very good facilities. The breakfast is not very substantial, but fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and pastry can satisfy everybody as everything is delicious.
Nothing negative ;)
Everything was great!
Gian-Carlo and his son Daniell were wonderful welcoming people....treated you like family...Levanto is a great base for Cinque Terre, beautiful little villages all around in the hills.
Giancarlo was an excellent host who went out of his way to help. Excellent value for money in a quiet location.
Giancarlo was an exceptional host who was very helpful with instructions to take the train to Cinqueterra. He and his don were both very friendly and fun to talk to.
Nothing. The drive to the location was difficult because our Garmin took us up through the mountains rather than to Levanto first. It was challenging but the views were beautiful.
Nice neat room, daily housekeeping (that I did not expect from a B&B). The room is modest but I found it better than many 3-star hotels in the area. Very fine bed+cushions+blankets, which is rare in Liguria, and exceptionally friendly owners! The location is a bit outside Levanto (5-10 min drive), I wouldn't date to walk that far, the owners give you a town parking pass. Had no trouble with parking at the B&B at all.
The breakfast area is a bit noisy, especially if you stay on the ground floor is it is hard to count on a late sleep, be ready to go and explore the roundabouts early in the morning!
Friendly helpful staff Parking pass
Breakfast could have more variations
Friendliness and cheerful reception, although simple accommodation little details for convenience had been thought of including toiletries, safe and small refrigerator in the room together with a fixed air drier in the bathroom. The breakfast included delicious homemade jams. The owner suggested a good eating place which was excellent and he arranged the booking of the meal.
Parking is very limited and awkward.
nice surroundings, kind staff
There was not any heating at night .
