Decent hotel with good location!
Very near to Vatican city in quite, safe and clean location. Room was clean and breakfast had lots of varieties.
WiFi is not working all the time, the staff in the breakfast area was rude, however staff at the reception was very helpful.
Staff were helpful
Stayed there 2 nights and the room was awful
As a mature single traveler they are very helpful and polite. They have a beautiful buffet breakfast too! White table cloths and coffee pot on the table with hot milk in little pot. Perfect start to a day!
Bartender great rec for local dinning Location right on bus line to colosseum Easy walk to Vatican
Room is very spartan not much of a breakfast for us tastes
The room, breakfast, staff, location - everything was great value for money.
Great location, great comfort, fantastic breakfast, and most importantly, you feel like Marcello Mastroianni in one of the old time Italian classic movies. Not too many hotels left like this. Besides, it is the best value for your money. Yhumbs up all the way!
Annoying and loud tourists from China mainland
Clean rooms.the breakfast was fine.convenient location.
Very high airconditioning.frozen room every day after cleaning the room.
I have previously stayed in the hotel and had a successful visit which is why I chose it again. The location, the rooms and breakfast were all good.
The wifi did not work in our room. (8th floor) We paid for the movies which stopped working after one hour and where still expected to pay in full. After coming in out the heat and sitting in the lobby, being rudely told we could not consume our drinks as they where not purchased at the bar.
Nice room, breakfast generous with lots of options
The condition of the room was rather tired, it needed some work. Wall paper peeling off the walls, painting on doors looked worn. We had an average room in a very nice hotel. It was also disappointing we had to pay for WIFI..and it wasnt cheap.....10 euro for 24 hrs. Most other places we stayed WIFI was free.
Breakfast, location, ease of checkin
Wifi inoperable most of stay and unreasonably expensive (10 Euro per day per device was ridiculous when free wifi was bar just across street)-- Black mold growing throughout bathroom fixtures
The biggest problem wifi. There is no free internet in anywhere at hotel. it is not 4 star hotel. it is too expensive.
location was excellent... within walking distance to many of the sites.
Bed was uncomfortable.. old matress...very hard to sleep. Carpet needs replacing.. upgrading. But clean.
If you want to stay in touch by internet forget it. Wifi is 9 € per day per each smartphone and very slow. Service is not good. Breakfast is not good. My worst experience in 30 days in Europe.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with a nice variety between sweet and savoury, clean hotel
Wi-fi is very expensive. It should be given for free
the location was good.
the staff were very careless. the information in the website of the hotel on how to reach the hotel was very poor. We reached the hotel by using underground from Termini (it takes 30 min) but it is possible to take a taxi from termini (it takes just 7 min, and 12 euros)..
Maybe the breakfast.
No service oriented staff. Dirty. Not worth 4stars. No free wifi.
Location very good, nice personnel at the breakfast.
Room look and the furniture old, TV set old fashion very unsafe elevator, doors are dangerous.
Facility is not close to the sea, so you have to enjoy the pool and grass area around it but since they hire the facility to weddings (happens very often as far as we are told, the hotel is completely dead for people. Stay away.
Its close location to many of the city attractions.
Sulky receptionists (except the young trainees) No free wifi or internet (guess they live in the 17th century!). I'll never stay at Hotel Cicerone anywhere in the world again.
Not able to use electrical outlets to charge my phone , I pad, computer had to go through the whole area to try find a connector , need to buy card to be able to use WiFi
We are very happy with our decision to stay in this hotel. Everything was very nice and fine. The location is just perfect to explore the city. Breakfast was amazing. It was very easy to get there from the airport by a train and metro.
Location, facilities, services, breakfast
Internet was 10 extra Euro per day and the connection was poor or worse, since many times when trying to connect it did not work.
NO FREE WIFI!!!!!!
We got an upgrade following our stay the previous week - but the room technicians did the minimum amount to service. Bigger room and overall better. Front of house staff excellent and helpful
After the last visit did not take breakfast as the quality was from our previous experience very poor.
