I have previously stayed in the hotel and had a successful visit which is why I chose it again. The location, the rooms and breakfast were all good.

The wifi did not work in our room. (8th floor) We paid for the movies which stopped working after one hour and where still expected to pay in full. After coming in out the heat and sitting in the lobby, being rudely told we could not consume our drinks as they where not purchased at the bar.

Nice room, breakfast generous with lots of options

The condition of the room was rather tired, it needed some work. Wall paper peeling off the walls, painting on doors looked worn. We had an average room in a very nice hotel. It was also disappointing we had to pay for WIFI..and it wasnt cheap.....10 euro for 24 hrs. Most other places we stayed WIFI was free.

    Breakfast, location, ease of checkin

Wifi inoperable most of stay and unreasonably expensive (10 Euro per day per device was ridiculous when free wifi was bar just across street)-- Black mold growing throughout bathroom fixtures

    Almost nothing.

If you want to stay in touch by internet forget it. Wifi is 9 € per day per each smartphone and very slow. Service is not good. Breakfast is not good. My worst experience in 30 days in Europe.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with a nice variety between sweet and savoury, clean hotel

Wi-fi is very expensive. It should be given for free

    the location was good.

the staff were very careless. the information in the website of the hotel on how to reach the hotel was very poor. We reached the hotel by using underground from Termini (it takes 30 min) but it is possible to take a taxi from termini (it takes just 7 min, and 12 euros)..

Location very good, nice personnel at the breakfast.

Room look and the furniture old, TV set old fashion very unsafe elevator, doors are dangerous.

Facility is not close to the sea, so you have to enjoy the pool and grass area around it but since they hire the facility to weddings (happens very often as far as we are told, the hotel is completely dead for people. Stay away.

Its close location to many of the city attractions.

Sulky receptionists (except the young trainees) No free wifi or internet (guess they live in the 17th century!). I'll never stay at Hotel Cicerone anywhere in the world again.

We are very happy with our decision to stay in this hotel. Everything was very nice and fine. The location is just perfect to explore the city. Breakfast was amazing. It was very easy to get there from the airport by a train and metro.

    Location, facilities, services, breakfast

Internet was 10 extra Euro per day and the connection was poor or worse, since many times when trying to connect it did not work.

We got an upgrade following our stay the previous week - but the room technicians did the minimum amount to service. Bigger room and overall better. Front of house staff excellent and helpful

After the last visit did not take breakfast as the quality was from our previous experience very poor.

The staff was extremely rude. They charged fortune 432 Euro per night for something not worth even 3 stars, just to make me find tuny room with wholes in the carpet. On the top of it they made me pay for 4 nights right upfront and were completely deaf for negotiations

The door man was an older gentleman and very attentive! The location was terrific! They were helpful with questions that were asked. Breakfast was great. We stayed the night before we picked up our Trafalgar Tour.

They need to smile a bit more!

The location is excellent for walking to all the inner city sights.

    The carpets were very dirty!

It was vey well situated and we walked everywere with no need to take the metro. Breakfast was quite good also.

Some of the people working at the reception were not nice nor helpfull (but not all of them of course!). We received no touristic information. Also, when making the reservation we had chosen a double bed but our room had twin beds and at the recepction they gave us no solution. The room was clean but there were humidity stains in many parts of the bathroom and corridors. It is not a bad hotel but defenitely not a 4 stars one.
