Salvatore was the best!!!
Was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, very helpful staff and clean and comfortable room. Will certainly return on any future visits to Rome.
For spending here two nights, after hard days' sightseeing it was absolutely all right. Perfect location, friendly and kind host, full info package,tea/coffee making possibilities etc. After reading some other facilities' evaluation in Rome, I must mention, here we had hot water and heating all the time. The rooms are separated enough to have your privacy.I just recommend it!
Nothing at all
It is quite nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is clean too. The location is good.
The external bathroom produce too much noise when being open and closed.
The location is pretty nice where is close to metro station and almost shops are in the walking distance. Staffs were friendly and tried to take care of the guests a lot. Room I stayed was quite spacious.
Room was very dark. Be ware of using the faucet in the basin. I felt electonic flows there. They should have checked the facility for safe more. All were pretty shabby but considering the budget, it' ok but take care of the electronic shock.
I was surprised with a lovely wine that the staff prepared to celebrate my birthday at Cielo Vaticano
The hostel is very cosy and the hosts were really nice and gave us lots of recommendations of things to do and places to go. The area is very safe, and actually lively! I would definitely recommend this hostel for a relaxed, enjoyable and uncomplicated stay in Rome
I sincerely thank the owners - Salvatore and Paolo for their help and hospitality. The location is great - on the one hand close to the metro and the Vatican - on the other hand softly. Good places to eat - next. 110% value for money.
At start i would like to salute Paola and Salvatore, wonderful, friendly and helpful folks. On the last night we received a gift a bottle of fine Italian wine. Room was cozy and is fitted with all the necessary accessories. The apartment was close to the Vatican, very close to the metro station from where you can get any most important attractions of Rome. We felt a little like we were living in Rome. I really recommend it, very nice to remember our stay in Rome. :) Best regards Donata and Chris
can`t say anything wrong
Spent 4 nights in the guest house and everything was fine, great location as the metro stations is really just few minutes walk from the guest house. The owners, Paola and Salvatore are very nice and helpful. They gave a small package to us at arrival which contained many useful tips about near by restaurants, shops etc.
There is a supermarket just a few step of this hotel. A bus stop and a metro station near. Also, is easy to get to the Vatican museum and the basilica of Saint Peter. Clean place and helpful staff.
Nothing negative to comment.
+ Booking communication + Information, tips provided to prepare trip + The warm welcome at arrival + The booklet with addresses (food, drink...) worth to go to (outside touristic places) + The explanations on the map, with tips on what is 'must see' + Insider recommendations as per when and where to go/stay for the best 'city taste' + Big room with 3 single beds (was there with my 2 daughters), dedicated bathroom, fridge, AC... + Reachability per mobile and smartphone social tools + Really helpful and efficient to organize and call to make museum reservation for us + Salvatore and Paola are Super Friendly + Room and guest house always clean + Bed done every day (incl. daughter's doll nicely positioned -small thing but very cute -) + Silent location very close to Vatican (St Peter+Museums), very close to the Metro + Funny decoration on the walls (we liked it!) bringing a smile while waking up + The bar we had to go to for BF had a person speaking French (easier for children) + Power plug prolongation supporting FR plugs + WiFi connection
- BF on Sunday was light but sufficient to last till lunch (1,5h later)
Such helpful, attentive, staff who cannot do enough for your comfort and enjoyment of this lovely city. Spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped room and bathroom in a quiet street which has good access to everything.
nothing (only the bathroom is too small)
Paolo and Salvatore were beautiful and welcoming. Loved the little file with a personalized guide and suggestions on where to visit/eat, etc in the neighborhood. The guesthouse was really comfortable and cosy and felt like we were coming home each day. :) Also really enjoyed the beautiful local cafe where we had breakfast with the really sweet couple who were running it. Loved their smiles. Would surely stay there again.
Location Helpful staff Large room
The staff were very helpfull and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean and the size of the room was good (big enough) for two persons. Wifi was working ok.
The shower cubicle was small even for normal size person. The soundproofing could have been better. The breakfast included only a cup of coffee and a croissant.
The warm and friendly welcome with great advices and help of the owners! For breakfast you get a voucher for coffee and a croissant in a small bakery nearby, we liked that small breakfast.
5 minute walk from Vatican, three blocks from metro, right next to an organic grocery and a 24 hour bakery. Fantastic! Paola and Salvatore were extremely helpful, helped us book a colosseum tour and a taxi to the airport. They welcomed us back to our room after our first day of sightseeing with some homemade Roman treats!
Breakfast is delicious but small (1 pastry + 1 coffee) for each adult, and no breakfast provided for our child. Bathroom was outside the bedroom, so if you want complete privacy, be sure to book one of the rooms with an attached bathroom.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful the location is fantastic 5 minutes walk from the metro station
great value great sttuation provided a very enjoyable week in Rome
The tea bag and no glasses for our gin
Wonderful family-run small hotel and great value. Salvatore is the most helpful b&b owner I know. Room is small and basic, but provides everything you need. Very clean too. Good wifi connection. A five minutes walk from the Metro Station and a 10 minute walk to Vatican. There are several buses on the street corner to go to major sites other than Vatican. Next door is a big organic shop. The gelato place Salvatore recommends down the street is amazing! He's a runner. So if you run too, ask him for jogging routes!
The place is close to Metro, but situated in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. The host was very friendly and helpful, especially the guide book he prepared, very useful. Room is clean. Thanks for the hospitality!
The staff was very cooperative and nice.
The building is a side street and a bit old.
We loved it. We felt like at home. We had our own key to the building; there was coffee, tea, water, etc. available for free. We take our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop, a very lovely and typical Italian place. It’s a small family gest house run by an Italian couple, Salvatore and Paola, who made our stay very pleasant. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Although it was not so centric, it was two blocks away from the subway and very well connected with the rest of the city. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying again if we got back to Rome.
