Close to the train station Quiet location Excellent staff very helpful Good continental breakfast with cappuccino Great location, great value for short stay
Entrance to hotel through an iron door on the street Number of stairs to get the the office
Comfortable, budget accommodation close to the train station. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions to get the most out of our visit to Naples.
The shower head and screen needed some maintenance in our room. The shower enclosure was quite cramped and the worn shower head sliding adjustment made it more difficult to use. We should have mentioned this to our hosts but it wasn't a huge issue for our length of stay.
Good location, everywhere near, but hidden in the small street. Anyway, don't count to park the car there :-) good service, nice staff.
Well, let's say, ***stars hotel in Naples... It is far from what you suspect travelling in other places in Europe, rather good B&B, but really nice.
location, wifi, breakfast, helpfull staff
Room and staff were GREAT!! We had Penelope Cruz and it was just brilliant! want to come back and try a different room! Recommendation to go eat Pizza at the end of the street was AWESOME!!
Location is super-convenient for the station, but the station area is a tough neighbourhood.
Friendly helpful staff....close to metro & train station..usual continental breakfast...
Small shower..felt a bit claustrophobic...
Staff was really nice..breakfast was great..room was clean...great wifi...felt safe there.
Lots of stairs
Just a few steps from trainstation. Nice owners. The owners did a nice job in making the place personal.
The neighbourhood was not the cleanest part of Naples.
The hotel is about 5 minutes’ walk from the Centrale station and a couple of minutes from Metro line 1. Turn left out of the station to the pedestrian crossing and go most of the way down the street opposite until you reach Via Silvio Spaventa on your left, and the hotel is along there on your right (the big sign just says Hotel Holiday). It isn’t exactly the smartest neighbourhood, but we never felt in danger even at night – there’s a cheap restaurant just across the road. There is a steepish flight of stairs up to the first floor hotel, then more stairs up to the rooms. The staff were really friendly and carried our cases up for us. When we said there wasn’t a plug in the washbasin, they brought one up almost immediately. We had a nice room with reasonable air-conditioning, a large firm comfortable bed, fridge and free wi-fi. It wasn’t obvious if the smoke detector was working, since the light wasn’t on. There was a TV, but no English stations. The cinema theme is a nice idea, though the ‘stars handprints’ in our room seemed less than stylish! The room was reasonably quiet during the night, since the street isn’t so busy, but you might want earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The bathroom had a smallish shower, but it was nice and hot. The cold buffet breakfast was very good and served with freshly made coffee – cappuccino, latte etc, though with only 5 tables it probably gets busy at times. There were free tea, coffee and biscuits available during the day, and we even got a small bottle of ‘champagne’ in the room on the second day!
Nothing major - see review for minor issues.
Staff (so friendly and helpful) Location (close to sights, transport and food) Value for money Decoration (slightly bonkers and all the better for it!) Information for guests (great distribution of leaflets about interesting places)
Could be a bit noisy, but that is what you get when in the centre of a busy city!
We chose this hotel because it was close to the central train station and seemed a great price...€98 for two nights through Booking.com. Not sure if this a special early bird deal or the regular rate. We were very glad we stayed there as Anna and her family were delightful! They were very welcoming, right from the moment we arrived and our bags were carried upstairs for us. The hotel has a classical movie theme and the rooms are decorated accordingly. We stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room which included a balcony and efficient air conditioner. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were always available in the bar and alcoholic drinks were not only cheap, but came with a bowl of nuts. We spent quite a bit of time in this area as it was a pleasant space and the wifi was the best we had encountered in several weeks of travel -and equally as good in the room! Breakfast was really nice and included toasty croissants with homemade jams, cakes, bread, ham, cheese, cereal, yoghurt and fruit etc. Of course cappuccino, tea, hot chocolate and the like were all prepared for us by Anna's family. I even forgot to hand in our room key on departure but that didn't seem an issue and they were happy for me to drop it in on our way back through to Rome the following week. I highly recommend the accommodation!
This area of Naples isn't particularly lovely.
I only stay one night in this nice hotel. The people was nice - the room was fine and it was close to the central station. Very good breakfast also.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Both Luigi and Imma go out of their way to make your stay a very nice experience.Great Cappuccinos from the bar! Very cosy environment with great hand painted artwork caricatures of famous actors and actresses along the corridor walls. Excellent restaurant (La Brace) next door with quality Italian food at very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back again.
very nice staff, clean room, late check out possible, we ordered pizza to take away from the restaurant next door and were welcome to eat it at the hotel. very close to the train station and the centro storico.
seedy area, litter on, the street
The place a family run joint and I got to meet 3 of the members and all were super nice and helpful. It's well run and any problems you come across they deal with it with ease.
Location is little off setting but easy to get anywhere from it.
Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. Great location, so easy to get around and near to lots of eateries etc. The breakfast was pretty good. Very good value for money. Well kept property and always clean. Felt very safe. Good powerful shower. The air conditioning worked well. We would definitely stay at Cineholiday again and will be recommending it to friends.
The room we were in; Toto (twin room) could definitely do with some moderate renovation. The safe could not be used (previous guests had took the key). The shower leaked leaving a small puddle of water in the bathroom (although nothing major). The glass shelf in bathroom was very loose and fell off (luckily I saved it from smashing in the sink). The showerhead holder pole was not secured to the wall and also fell off. There were what appeared to be children's stickers on the bedside tables and mirror that were half scraped off and looked messy. All very minor things that did not detract from a very pleasant stay.
Atmosphere is colorful and romantic. Very close to Napoli Centrale.
We stayed at Audrey Hepburn's room. The room and bathroom are a little small. The door of bathroom is not working properly. There was some mosquitoes at night.
clean, helpfull, very close to station.
when ı was looking for a hotel adress there wasnt street name on there or couldnt see it. I got just 1 street back and felt really unconfortable. Its general thought about Naples should be very awared safety conditions and adress informations as a woman. When ı get the hotel was really afraid of people ı had seen near streets. Always should use main street. check hotel adress with a this point.
Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Fun and memorable decorations (cinema theme). Delicious breakfast with variety (not just the usual croissants). Easy walk to/from train station, central location but still nice and quiet at night.
Drain of shower was clogged (New York room). Walking in Naples was scary because of the small streets with scooters zipping by (not hotel's fault though!)
Very close to Napoli central station. Cool rooms. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast
Fast internet and unusually disain
A little bit noise
This family owned business was very helpful to my needs. As I was travelling alone they made me feel welcome and safe.
The steps with my suitcase. But they were very helpful in carrying my suitcase up the steps for me. The plumbing was slow in getting hot water. But I expect this.
Close to Railway station. Just Perfect for one night stay. Nothing to complain about.
The hotel is situated very near to Napoli Termini. It is a family owned hotel & the crew are very nice & helpful. The rooms are colorful & clean.
We didn't llike Napoli because it wasn't clean at all as a city.
The localization is very good, close to the central railroad station and subway, making travelling in and around Napoli very easy. The hotel staff was very kind, friendly and willing to help. The breakfasts were very good, including delicious home-made marmelade. The rooms and floors are very nicely and originally decorated with movie motifs. The WiFi internet connection was very good and easy to connect.
