This small family run hotel has a terrific location and yet is a modest and accessible hotel. The roof top breakfast room and the help of the front desk made this work well for our group of 14.
The tiny elevator encourages walking up and down the 6 flights and while a good value, it could be cleaned a bit better.
Very pleasant personnel. We were allowed to leave our luggage 2 times for storage - on arrival and on departure.
Internet was not working in the room. Only in corridor bettween 3rd and 4th floor. Beds are "asking" to be replaced...
The location was convenient to the metro which in turn meant it was convenient to all the major attractions in Rome. It was a short walk to Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, Spanish steps, a multitude of restaurants and cafes and 1 block from the Hard Rock. the breakfast was good albeit limited in selection. room 101 was great with a private balcony overlooking the courtyard, in room fridge, day bed as well as a queen bed, tv and a large bathroom. Oh and did I mention the price was FANTASTIC. We had friends in our group stay right next door and they paid $160 euro MORE PER NIGHT! On my next trip to Rome I will be looking to stay here again.
Maybe a better selection of breakfast choices
Nice wee hotel, very convenient for the metro and city sightseeing bus tours. Only a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast (on the terrace :)) was enjoyable. Overall I'd recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Hotel would benefit from a wee bit of TLC (the room was a little foosty when we arrived, resolved quickly when we opened the balcony door), could do with a lick of paint. Don't let this put you of tho as the positives of this hotel far outweigh the few negatives.
The location was great. Very central
The entire hotel is filthy and run down. Our bathroom had mould and dirt in every nook and cranny. We requested that it be cleaned, but this was not done. The corners of the room and the carpet on the stairs was also filthy and looked as if this had not been done for years. If this hotel was in Australia, the health authorities would have closed it down. There was also a large level of noise by hotel staff (I think they were doing the laundry) that occurred during the early hours on a Sunday. Again this is unacceptable. The hotel is quite shabby and run down and does meet any of the descriptions offered on your website. Very disappointing.
no fire alarms in hotel and no fire exits in need of a deep clean and general renovation
Misrepresented in the photos. Complete RIP OFF. The lobby is so small we could barely get our bag through. The lift is only about 2 ft square. The room was only a couple foot bigger than the king bed. One room had a wardrobe, but other had no place to unpack and no place to place bags. The bathrooms are split with shower on one side of room and commode on other. When we decided not to check in and go to another hotel, the desk clerk charged for the full 6 night stay, in violation of the published cancelation policy on Booking.com. We are still fighting to get the 2000 euro charge off the charge card. DON'T Book this hotel. check around.. we stayed at NH Vitto Venneto off Corso d'itallia for same money.
- great location - very friendly staff - nicely decorated rooms
Good location, close to city center. Staff was helpful.
The smell coming from the bathroom was really REPELLENT. Smallest TV set ever Choice of continental breakfast was had no type of meat.
Location. Good helpful reception.
Breakfast. Breakfast. Quite a bit of equipment not working.
The accommodation is very well located for most occasions and makes a very good centre for all occasions in Rome.
wifi clean people so nice
Big bed and a nice size room. Big bathroom. A good choise for breakfast. I would stay there again
Location Very friendly Staff
Great position, very close to all the sightseings, and very helpful and polite stuff. We definetely reccomend it
The breakfast was simple, it could be better
Liked the beds, clean and nice. Enough warm water. Nice staff in reception.
Room was not properly cleaned. Curtains were dirty near the floor, could see dust on the walls. On the bathroom floor, it was old dirt in all corners. Breakfast was 95 % sweet things (cookies, cakes, even the croissants were sweetened) No fruit, no dark bread.
The location was brilliant, close to metro and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, and breakfast was what we needed.
I disliked everything. It is the worst hotel I have ever seen
The staff was very friendly. Breakfast, especially the coffee.
Mold and bad smell in bathroom. Frayed bath towels. Dirty bathroom door. Dirty carpets in public areas. It appeared that no dusting or floor cleaning has been done in a very long time.
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room.
Location Accessibility Comfortable
Overall cleaning of the hotel
Location, location, location. We walked just about everywhere. Friendly staff. Ladies at breakfast buffet truly accommodating and helpful. Bathroom large and roomy and all facets worked terrific.
Not fault of hotel but would have enjoyed 1 TV station in English, but who has time for TV anyway while in Rome?
