Asean staff very nice and careful. Prices
Too hot (at front of street). So maybe best at back
Hotel run by a family. The members I spoke were kind and very helpful. If you have a car and don't want to spend to much on a hotel, this hotel is perfect. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Bus stop is literally around the corner, 1 minute walk. It takes you to Florence in 15 minutes. Staff will explain this to you on arrival including a free map.I got more of B&B vibe than a hotel vibe.
We came to this hotel not expecting much, and you shouldn't. It's an ideal hotel to spend 1 or 2 nights to see Florence, but not more. Rooms are basic. I personally didn't sleep very well on the beds. We were only at the hotel to spend the night and for that it's ideal taking in to account price and location. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel room pick a more luxurious hotel.
ventilator, big rooms.
hard to find hotel, unclean rooms
room very spacious and very clean very quiet also we spoke with hotel owner, albanian, very kind and hospitalier
Free parking, quite
small room, no English channels on TV
Parking was possible on the street in front of the hotel. We got a map of Florence from the receptionist.
Too many mosquitoes in the room! No breakfast.
Staff is excellent! A special thanks to Antonio!!!
Wi-Fi signal is not too strong :-)
Wet and dirty place,w'd never recomend anyone
There was an awesome pizza shop near amazing ! !!!!!!! The price was also good 35€ per night
Furniture was broken Shower was broken Beds were very uncomfortable Pillows were rock solid Telephone socket was broken No internet access in room Very small room Heating was switched off at night and during the day when we were gone
It was clean; staff was kind; value is good for the money.
The room was smelly of smoke;
Both young and old staffs were nice, location was ok, not too far from a small railway station that you could go to central station by train for 1.5 euro. Shower was awesome, super great water pressure!
Room was pretty smelly. There was no soap in the bathroom, only some shampoos. However, the biggest problem was the mosquitoes were killing me at the first night!!! I never opened any window in that room and there were many mosquitoes inside the room that I didn't know where they came from! There was no way to sleep for a whole night because there was a mosquito military!! You killed one, they have more!I Luckily, the staff left some mosquito incense on the front desk and it did save me for the second night.
Hostess was very friendly Parking for free and enough available places
I met 3 cockroaches in the room, walls looks like in the hospital, breakfast very poor, all time I am felt myself not comfortable
free parking, budget friendly, close to bus that takes to downtown florence
breakfast, not someone always around, location was a bit of a ways out, staff was cordial, however, not overly friendly and helpful
Very nice small hotel one railway station from Florence.
The staff doesn't speak English but willing to help. Wifi connection Cheap
No air conditionner so could be hard in summer
Lowest price. Room size, fan, bathroom looked better than described in reviews (room did not - we were prepared by other reviews to see holes in walls with wires hanging from them etc.). The hotel is marked as poi in Garmin navigation system maps - do not try to find it on your own for the 1st time there...
No one of owners is at the hotel at night. They do not own any parking. You may get lucky and find a place on the street, or not... There is a road sign on streets of at least 4 blocks around the place that on a specific day street must be freed from cars (parking forbidden 00-06) for cleaning. We get lucky and did not get fined (or will receive fine by mail later?). I do not believe the owner that ignoring a parking prohibition sign does not matter, because the street was pretty empty of other cars that night, however the night before it was crowded. Would not stay there ever again if I had any other option.
Good location just two stops to florence by train and Budget frindly.
Too much noise especially in the early mornings. Too much mosquito in the room and some of them remains dead in the walls.
A small hotel run by family. The staffs are nice and friendly. The location is great (5min walk to train station and 5min train to Firenze SMN).
The bathroom is strange and it was impossible to take a shower without making the floor all wet. I'm not sure if this is also same in the other rooms. The wifi signal was a bit weak in the room.
Clean And staff correct.
A bit todo dar from dwon town.
This is a very unpretentious one-star hotel, but it offers everything it is needed to feel comfortable like at home. It is managed directly by a couple and their own children. The staff is very friendly and ready to fulfill customer's requests. The price/performance ratio is what makes this hotel really attractive.
Not the whole staff is comfortable with English. Be ready to have to use an italian pocket dictionary to formulate more complex request to the staff.
I had a large room with sink, tv and small fridge. There was also a fan in the ceiling.
The hotel is quite far from the center and only quick way to get to the center is by train from Rifredi train station. When I checked in, the lady asked if I could pay my stay unofficially so that she could tell Booking.com that I had cancelled and she wouldn't have to pay commission. When I wanted to pay the normal way, the woman got quite annoyed. I registered on the day I checked in, on the 9th of June. However, 3 days later I was rudely asked to register again. I noticed only then that the staff had written 12th of June to the receipt of my payment, although I had made the payment 3 days earlier. I had booked a room with an external private bathroom. I was given WC/bathroom which was used by staff and other people. That bathroom wasn't cleaned very often and often there was no toilet paper or soap in it. The hotel also seemed to have a lot of bugs that looked like cockroaches - they were everywhere, also in my room. My room was quite nice and spacious, but my bed was like a folding metal bed and it was quite wobbly. The WiFi didn't work very well. The attitude of some members of the staff was quite bad.
Near to the city centre, that's all the advantages.
Not finished facilities, malfunctioning items. The management wasn't helpful when we reported malfunction. They promised as they didn't understand English that they had spoken a few minutes earlier. Forget it!
The stuff is very polite. If you have a car the location is very nice.Free parking and about 10-15 min to Basilica di Santa Maria Novella. There is a good supermarket and a restaurant nearby.A decent old small hotel, for the money you pay.
Difficult to locate.
Although advertised as shared bathroom, I ended up getting a private ensuite bathroom instead. Interestingly, I was asked to switch room on my second day (to which I relunctantly agreed). But to my surprise, they gave me an even larger room with a larger private bathroom....go figures.... The young girl at the front speaks good English. There is free map and wifi connection is good.
No soundproofing, can hear people next door very easily. The location is at Firenze Rifredi, 10 min from city center (smn station) by train, not too convenient.
