Antico Panada dates back to 1889. It is in 2 historic buildings, 100 ft from Saint Mark's Square. The air-conditioned rooms feature refined furniture, and Murano lamps.

Opened in 1308, the Albergo Cavalletto & Doge Orseolo is one of the oldest hotels in Venice. It is set right behind St. Mark's Square, and features elegant rooms and a private pier.
Score from 1262 reviews Good
Bel Sito & Berlino is across from Santa Maria del Giglio Church, a 5-minute walk from Saint Mark’s Square. Rooms overlook the canal, the church’s façade, or the hotel's peaceful inner courtyard.
Score from 697 reviews Very good
Hotel Violino d'Oro is an 18th-century building with traditionally decorated rooms, overlooking the San Moisè Canal. Saint Mark’s Square is less than a 5 minute walk away.

staff are very helpful. great hotel. little difficult to find.
Near almost everything, and personal nice and friendly. Nice comfortable room.
Breakfast in price? I can not call it breakfast, it was very boring. Had to eat more outside....! Have eaten breakfast in many hotels through the years, this was the worst. :(
Breakfast included but not very good-buns stale on some days often went to local cafe instead
everything is perfect about the hotel. You go everywhere on foot. There are lots of restaurants and cafes around the hotel and it's very close to the historical places and museums.
location, clean and quite, good place to rest after a long day walking.
Not easy to find in Venice. If extra address info can be provided, it will be very healpful.
Breakfast very basic.
lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, perfect location
Beautiful decor great location friendly staff
Double bed was two single beds next to each other we all know this is very annoying... Also at 8:30am piped music well 80s radio blared out from a speaker in the corridor just outside our room... Really annoying and ruined the lye In on day of departure which was already an early check out 10am... Which was too early for us
Breakfast No lift after 2nd floor Quadruple room for 4 persons small very difficult to find the hotel And above all, my booking for 3 nights from Aug. 5 to 8 was all paid non-refundable which i understand well. then i had visa issue with my family and required to leave one day earlier and so i called the hotel and sent few emails on Aug. 1 to change my booking dates 3 nights from Aug. 4 to 7 instead of 5 to 8. Based on full occupancy hotel replied they can't change which i understood. when i checked in on 5th, they know i will leave one day earlier on 7th. i requested for even 50% refund for the last day which i will not use but hotel management couldn't help. But to my most surprise, on the 7th, hotel wanted me to check out at 12 noon, (though i was supposed to check out at 3 pm to catch my flight at 6 pm), i asked them why do i have to check out early, my room is paid until next day 8th Aug., the hotel staff said they have to prepare my room for the next guest to check in. My eyes popped up, i asked why do they have to give my paid room to another guest, just because i am leaving early and why can't they refund 100% or even 50% for the last day though they have got another guest and they won't lose any money. i concluded the result as they are dishonest people and wanted to make money double for one night and didn't want to pay me even 50%. what a shame for them!
The location is perfect.2minutes walk to San Marco and 10 min to Rialto. Stuff was very nice.Rooms are typical Venice rooms .But inside of hotel is renewed.so bathroom, aircondition, windows etc were very good. We were lucky and got a big room . wi-fi was also ok. breakfast was ok .
Lift doesn't go to top floor. You should use stairs for only 1 floor.
Breakfast was poor. Wifi was poor
Small but well appointed room, no frills but super value for money. The bathroom and room seemed to be recently updated. The staff kept the property very clean. The AC was great for those hot summer days of sight seeing. The location of the hotel while initially hard to find, was just a 5 minute walk from Saint Mark's Square and didn't require crossing any bridges from my ferry stop...great when you are dragging your luggage! It is a wonderful little jewel of a hotel.
It is not a hotel with any public areas and related amenities, but I knew that so I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast could have offered a little variety, but it was served by a friendly staff member who made a very tasty cappuccino.
city centre friendly staff breakfast
I liked that we (a family of 4) were all able to stay in the same room. This hotel's location close to St. Mark's Square is perfect!
good location,beautiful room,friendly staff
Friendly staff, near the centre, wifi, and the breakfast was good too.
Location, A semi decent price, Very important mini supermarket across the road, Local takeaways, Adjacent bus station, Air conditioning, Secured, The staff are very friendly, They got us a padded mattress the next day for the cot instead of a folded blanket.
Double bed is not double just 2 singles with a sheet on top!, Towels are not changed on a daily basis, Breakfast is terrible you have to walk to a nearby cafe and only literally allowed 1 croissant and one hot drink to the point that I got a chocolate croissant and got charged for the extra chocolate!, Beds are extremely uncomfortable, No reception past 6, All in all a good hotel but probably is a 2 star
Good breakfast. And near to Plaza San Marco
The individual beds
We arrived late due to flight delays. We ended up ringing the bell at 2am and the lady was very courteous considering how late we arrived. Good location and excellent value for money.
Could of been sign posted better as it's in a dark alleyway.
Really hard to find
The hotel location was great.
When I asked for internet to pay, the receptionist told me no internet.
Rooms - too small In the website, we saw pics of bigger rooms with bath-tub Hotel is difficult to locate Worthless view from a tiny window Elevator works till 2nd floor, while our room was in the 3rd floor.
Near the habour and scene
Very hard for first finding
This little hotel was perfect!! Right in the heart of town and lots of great restaurants near by. The room itself was adequate, very comfy and bathroom excellent!
The hotel should have a free map of the city in it's lobby area!
bedroom decor was wonderfull!! right in the middle of the city rooms were well sound proofed so didnt have to listen to the hub of the city at night
staff were not very approachable or friendly. had to pay extra for the wi-fi which was ridiculous as the room was not cheap breakfast options were very poor milk was warm and not nice
