Citta'  

Modest priced hotel in easy loaction for access to the ferry terminal at Livorno. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by friendly, helpfull staff and by the town itself - its well worth spending an eveing exploring its "little Venice".

Not sure if there should have been breakfast - we didn't see a dining room...but have to admit we slept in well past breakfast time anyway...becasue "little Venice" was a good night out.

I spent in Citta' 3 nights. I was satisfied with my room. Staff is very nice and helpful. They make very good coffee! Hotel is close to main street and bus stop. I can recommend this place for people, who comes to Livorno to make business or are travelling around Tuscany.

Breakfast is very simple and not diversified. But it is common in Italy. It can be loud if you get the room with the view on the market.

A lovely truly city-centre hotel, run by interesting people that make you feel at home. Good value and good fun. Non the failings you usually associate with a hotel in much of Italy at this price.

Good service. Breakfast time adapted to the guest needs, which is very nice: as a large number of guests spend one night before/after taking the ferries to the islands, the hotel staff serve breakfast from 6- 6.30 am on.

Too expensive for what it is. Old furniture, old design, smelly rooms. Is ok if you have to stay overnight to catch the early ferry, but the room rates are excessive.

The hotel is located close to the harbour and close the shopping area.

Di buono ha solo la posizione centrale

La camera era un disastro: piccola, mal tenuta (tapparella rotta in posizione semi-chiusa, anta dell'armadio divelta, ecc.), senza privacy acustica a causa della porta di "carta velina", mobilio neanche da discount. Lo squallido bagno era degno dei peggiori ospedali. Vorrei sapere con quale criterio l'hotel e' classificato 3 stelle.

I materassi sono troppo teneri, non esiste una sola camera con materassi duri (o ortopedici)

La posizione, al centro della città e la gentilezza del personale.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo e camere pulite

La aprte del corridoio e l'ingresso da un pò un'idea di albergo trasandato, ma invece le camere sono ok.

En general en Italia no se le da importancia al desayuno, y para el resto de europeos es una contrariedad este detalle.

Het hotel ligt gunstig gelegen vlakbij de haven en vlakbij een plein waar je met het openbaar vervoer vele kanten uit kan. Formeel moet je de kamer om 10.30 uur verlaten , maar op verzoek was het geen enkel probleem om de koffers op een plekje te zetten tot 's middag 14.00 uur zodat we de morgen van vertrek nog iets konden bezichtigen van de stad

Er zijn geen kamers op de begane grond en je moet twee trappen op naar de eerste verdieping naar je kamer. Met een zware koffer kan dat vervelend zijn

Wenn es was positives zu erwähnen gibt, dann die Lage des Hotels. Es ist mitten in Livorno. Leider gibt es in Livorno nichts zu sehen. Wir mussten nur leider eine Nacht verweilen, da unsere Fähre nach Sardinien sehr früh fuhr.

Negativpunkte gibt es einige! Zum einen ist das Hotel viel zu teuer und wir fragten uns, wie es möglich ist, dass es 3Sterne haben kann. Die Rezeption ist 24Stunden besetzt (wenn man diese Rumpelkammer Rezeption nennen kann) und der zuständige Mitarbeiter fühlt sich aber eher gestört als hilfsbereit zu sein. Die Zimmer sind klein und altbacken. Die Nasszelle hatte keine Tür, so dass man beim Duschen das ganze Bad geflutet hat. Das Frühstück war für deutsche Verhältnisse eine Katastrophe und sogar für Italiener wohl eher eine Zumutung. Der Kaffee schmeckte bitter, die Butter war ranzig, das Croissant von gestern und mehr gab es im Grunde genommen nicht. Livorno hat auch wirklich nichts schönes an sich.
