We loved staying in Panoramic, a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. The bed was large and comfortable and the apartment and terrace was spacious. It offered so much more space than a hotel room.
The only thing that affected my rating of comfort was that the water flow and temperature control in the bathroom was poor and there was a noisy machine, probably a dehumidifier.
The location was great, very central to St Marks Square and other local amenities. Great value for money. The staff were very accommodating and were waiting for us at San Zaccaria despite a delay due to issues with our flight carrier.
We paid for WiFi however the signal was not very strong and kept dropping off.
Superb location, very central and historic, yet also a local community around Via Garibaldi. Excellent waterferry connections.
The Arsenale flat is dark, with little natural light. An upgrade of sofas/international TV service might be considered
Location and a decent amount of space. (we were 5 adults) Nice canal view from bedroom. Good basic organisation from company including water taxi reservations
6 lightbulbs not working and not replaced despite pointing this out on arrival. €50 fee for arriving in the evening seems high. Needs more plates glasses etc for 5 people.
Generally pretty good, although one should be able to expect an electric kettle is standard equipment in a self contained unit
Claudia was there to meet us so there was no trouble getting to the apartment. She would arrange for porter service too if needed. The apartment was big enough for our group of eight people. It provided a good setting for family get-togethers. Convenient location - Fondamente Nove water taxi station was right there and Rialto was a short walk. Relatively quiet.
Dining table was not big enough for the eight of us but we managed. Extra charge for WiFi.
We like this apartment as it can accommodate all 8 of us. Quiet location.
The rooms are not very clean, lights are quite dim. There is only 1 toilet to share among 8 of us. Location is still ok, walking distance to waterbus. The worse is every morning we are trap in our apartment as there is high tides outside and we have to wait till after 10.30am to walk out as we do not have water boots with us.
Location right next to Piazza San Marco. Perfect for kids! Can't hardly beat the location.
The lights are very dim inside. The management asks that you take care of your own trash, which means putting it out in the morning before 8 except on Sundays and separating recycling with each type having its own days for pickup, all backed up with the threat of a fine from the city and the apartment manager. Well, most people leave on Sunday, so this is a minor inconvenience. Also, with the recyling, what to do with it if the day doesn't come during your stay? Well you could just load up a trash bin if you find one in the city, but this is also forbidden. It appears the Venice trash situation is a bit broken, but the apartment management could help guests out a little more.
Had to email to ask where to meet to take us to our apartment. And never showed up where they said to meet. Had to ask a restaurant if we could use there phone to call. Showed up 1 1/2 hr later knowing it was raining hard. Didn't even apologize. Also, Sold us internet that did not work. 3G and so weak signal that I was only able to use it once. I would never stay with them. Not as close as they say it is.
the location as it was 2mins from San Marco square but it was mega noisy at night
everything from size of lift, couldn't get pushchair in there, apartment was small. Door came off hinge, baby cot was broken. Electricity stopped for half a day, air conditioning didn't work, staff threatened to charge my credit card for coming to check problems with the apartment and tv, felt like we were prisoners in jail.
Everything about the Apartment. It was extremely comfortable and Clean. Would recommend it and use again.
The fact that the company never made it clear we should contact them as soon as we got off the water bus. There were totally confusing directions to the address. Also would appreciate telling us before arrival that there is a Venice tax.. In the details on line should be written clearly that linen and towels are included.
very nice apartment, clean, safe and in a central location
no proper shower, TV did not seem to work
The location was excellent a few minutes walk from at marks. Lovely to listen to the sound of silence in the early morning. No cars! Would go back there tomorrow
Lots of steps to the apartment on the first floor
the position of the flat the flat
Handy to the main square.
No instructions in English to use washing machine, We hand washed then only 9 pegs (5 broken). No electric jug in kitchen. No local maps or guide to local stores to buy food, we found a nice store not far away on our last day! Rooms overcrowded with furniture, only possible to see TV from one settee.
The location is great!
wifi and the attitude of the college
No electric jug
beds not even the basics in the kitchen (like sugar, salt)
The apartment location was great. Within walking distance of most parts of Venice and close to a water bus stop. City Apartment staff provided us with easy to follow instructions from the airport and met us at the Water Bus Stop. The apartment itself was spacious and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. This was a great base for us and our three children.
The electric kettle had been used to boil milk and was unclean and unusable for boiling water. No dishwashing agent (powder or powerballs) was provided for the electric dishwasher which leaked. The garbage disposal and recycling requirements were onerous.
The location was ideal. Close to the Vaporato and St. Mark's Square.
The water pressure was awful. Luckily I didn't have to wash my hair while I was there because I would never get the shampoo rinsed out. Also, it would have been nice to have more than one towel each and possibly at least 1 roll of toilet paper. Also, I never did figure out how to get the washing machine open to put clothes in. Lot of stair to haul luggage up...consider a porter if your luggage is heavy or you are not in good shape.
Problem in reaching n finding the Guy looking for the guests
Our original booking was double booked and the agency offered us a larger, more expensive apartment for the same price. It was huge but up 85 stairs. The view that high up was fantastic--we were above most all other rooftops. The multiple church bells were incredibly beautiful.
We liked the location and the price. Handy for all the main sites. Get a pass to last for every day you are there. Easy access from the airport by orange line aliguna boat and everywhere else by line 1 bus. Good to be able to have a refuge and not to have to eat out constantly. Hostess met us as planned. Left bags at the office on last day. All worked well. Best to buy stuff at the Rialto market. Can find other stuff in supermarkets. Buy it wheen you see it. May not be able to find it again! Would use this company again but probably ensure more bathrooms.
Bit on the tatty side with signs of leaks and floods and dated decor but that's why it was cheap. Clean linen. We used washer to provide clean dry towels over 5 nights. Lots of stairs. One bathroom was not enough for 5 and 6 would have been worse and the shower had no screen and sprayed the whole room even when you sat in the bath so it was always wet in there. Not all electric points worked and they were loose. Handy husband fixed the broken window hinge! No charge! Were a LOT of mosquitos. Take repellent. Would have been nice if all the lights had worked and not necessary to get to bed in dark. Junk the TV.
