El City és un hotel de gestió familiar ubicat en un edifici històric. Aquest hotel és a només 200 m de l'estació de Florència de Santa Maria Novella. Ens ha agradat tot, començant pel personal,seguint per la decoració, la neteja. Els esmorzars estaven molt ben presentats. Ens hem trobat molt a gust I el recomenarem a tot aquell que vagi a Florència. L'únic que no lliga és el nom de l'establiment. Li hagués escaigut un nom iltalià o artístic.

Es un hotel ben situat, pots anar caminant a tots els llocs. Molt a prop de l'estació del tren i també del centre.

El personal amabilíssim i molt atent.. Em van deixar un portàtil per utilitzar-lo a l'habitació.Tot molt net.Situació molt cèntrica, es pot fer tot a peu.Esmorzar molt bé. Recomanable 100%. The staff very kind. They lent me a notebook for the room.Close to center

The gentleman(whose name I didn't remember) at the front desk was very charming and helpful. The location was very good for walking to all the sights and there were several reasonably priced trattorias around the corner. Also there were double windows so noise was not a problem. The bath was nice and bright and the beds were comfortable(on the hard side), the pillows not so comfortable. This is a typical European city hotel and it's different from what one expects in an American hotel. You leave your key at the desk when you go out. The room was quite small and we had to move aside to let each other get into the bath. The lounge on the first floor was quite dark and uninviting. Only 1 English speaking tv channel (a version of cnn) which kept repeating the same shows, but you're not in Florence to watch tv anyway.

The staff at Hotel City were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless, and had a lovely courtyard with plants outside our window. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh breads, juices, meats, and a variety of cheeses, cereals, and much more.

This is a great small family run Hotel with a good location, excellent rooms and good continental style breakfast. The staff make you feel like you are one of the family. Sound proof windows cut road noise and provide good sleep.

The location was fantastic: shopping, food, atmosphere, great morning breakfast and good shower situation! Don't care for the old European tradition of leaving your room key at the front desk when you go out of the hotel. No problems with safety or security though.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and housekeeping was good. The location was very close to the train station which was helpful with our luggage. It was the only hotel that had a sign showing their location. The morning breakfast was the best we had during our hotel stays. The large cups of coffee and huge variety of pastries and meats made every morning a treat. Mr. Francesco was most helpful; arranging our bus tour and recommending dinner locations.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us. The owner (also the guy at the front desk), was so accomodating. We were leaving early in the morning and he packed us our breakfast to go for the train.We also were upgraded to a suite and it was huge with two tv'S. The bathroom was so nice. It was probably the best room for the price we paid. Best value for money!

A lovely small hotel with friendly helpful staff. The location is excellent being situated just 5 minutes walk from the station and a a leisurely 10 minute stroll into the very centre of Florence. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel is fully air-conditioned (a must if visiting in July or August) the rooms are clean and comfortable and bathrooms spotless.The hotel serves a wonderful breakfast with a selection of fruit,cereals,warm croissants and pastries to die for.All in all a great base for a visit to Florence.

The staff were extremely accommodating and the position of the hotel for sight-seeing superb. Rooms were clean and comfortable and suited the stay well. It would be good to have a safe in the rooms.

The hotel was central and very clean.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing especially the coffee. The only problem was getting there by car, I would not recomend driving in the city and the car park was 25 euro per day.

Friendly family run hotel which is very clean and the room we had was spacious had a very comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom. breakfast was very good and the reception staff were very helpful. would recommend this hotel to all family and friends.

The hotel city was superb. One of the quietest city centre hotels I have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast buffet and prfectly located in the heart of firenze/florence. Also close to main line train station. Very friendly and helpful staff and very safe and secure. I was very impressed with my staf at this outstanding hotel.

Locality and helpful gentlemen who offered us breakfast even though we had missed the scheduled breakfast. The beds are extremely hard, it would help if the hotel had a pillow toper to soften it for those customers with back trouble like me.

Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful tiled bathroom and superior standard of cleanliness - rooms cleaned daily. Excellent central location. Wonderful breakfast, particularly the quality prosciutto, the pastries and the sweet Italian strawberries.
