Hotel City  

The staff at Hotel City were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless, and had a lovely courtyard with plants outside our window. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh breads, juices, meats, and a variety of cheeses, cereals, and much more.

THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND HELPFUL... THE HOTEL SMALL BUT WELL APPOINTED AND THE FREE BREAKFAST GREAT.. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE IN THE FUTURE

good breakfast, good location

the hotel was excellent, when i booked I went by the rating and i wasnt dissapointed. Wi fi was very good when we asked reception if they could check an email for us they gave a laptop to use in our room on 2 different nights. This was excellent value for money and a very well run well located hotel. All staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

coffe and tea making facilites would have been nice.

Everything about this hotel is excellent! Staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly, location is perfect and the decor in the hotel is lovely. This is our second visit to this hotel and we would not stay anywhere else in Florence. Highly recommended.

We were arriving by train and the Hotel City proximity to train station in Florence, a 5 minute walk, was a major plus. My wife and I stayed for 5 days with another couple we were traveling together. The room was fine with good bedding, tv, and a nice bathroom facility with an excellent drying towel rack. The front office staff were really outstanding and were so helpful on recommending city sights, tours. Their recommendations on restaurants was always excellent. Morning breakfasts at the hotel were also very good and had cereals, fruit and a selection of European cheese, ham, etc. We would definitely stay again at Hotel City if we were visiting in Florence and recommend this hotel for fair value.

The room was fine, although we were able to hear noise from the hall, and nearby rooms.

Excellent location between the train station and the interest points (less than 10 min). My wife and I like their breakfast and service. The counter people is nice and helpful. The internet works well. There are many bars or restraurants around, including one small Chinese restraurant offering hot foods with very attract price if you missed Chinese food.

Francesco t the front desk was very helpful and kind. Though the rooms are small they bare cleqan and comfortable. The windows hve douglbe glass which shuts out all street noise. Great location minutes from San Lorenzo mrket stalls.

A cosy small hotel with very nice staff. Central location with possibility to drop off the luggage (entered by car into the Limited Traffic Zone as hotel guests and parked it easily for 5-10 minutes both at check in and check out). Our windows faced the inner yard (like a well), which was good indeed (no kidding), because normally in downtowns of such cities as Florence night life is very active (loud). We were able to sleep well despite the central location. Comfortable bed and good heating. Breakfast had modest choice, but very good quality with enough fruits. Free WiFi was very useful and had good quality even in the rooms.

Car parking relatively far from the hotel (5 minutes walking), but the person at the reception was kind enough to show it personally to us when we arrived around 23:00, although normally Xerox schemes are available for that purpose.

We stayed in a quad room, 2 adults and 2 teenage children. Quad room was very big with large double in main room and 2 nd room with twin beds. Also had a very large bathroom. Lots of food for breakfast, but a little bit sweet - lots of custard filled treats. Hotel is easy to find and close to main train station. Easy walking to sites and markets close by. This was our first stay on our European holiday and the bar has now been set very high.

Could hear street noise, but this is a minor issue as you are in the city.

Location: very convenient and easy access to the main train station. Price: value for money is worth it. The room is so big Services/Facilities: Very nice and helpful Hotel staff, our room is very clean

excellent location and excellent hotel

The location was close to the train station & restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and satisfied our 3 hungry teenagers.

A little loud in the morning.
