Score from 351 reviews Very good
Bathroom insufficiently clean. Ground almost sticky. Paper walls and thin windows => noisy.
Very good location,Metro station very closed, the room clean, every day cleaning check, roof terrace brekfeast, airport transfer perfect.Staff helpful.
Street front room nousy,no fresh veg and fruit for the breakfast, the walls of public areas look like dirty.
Bed was great and bathroom clear with a good working shower.
The hotel was very loud on the side we were staying. The breakfast room right above us (loud in the morning) and a sitting area in front of our door. Loud and very frustrating that we could hear everything from our neighbours. Breakfast is not as suggested. It barely meets Hostel standards!
The Restaurant next to the hotel had really good and cheap pizza (you need to make reservations prior the dinner because it's 100% full every day). Opening hours: 20.00 - 24.00 (only dinner). It was close to the Metro Station. The staff was really kind and helpful. They helped me to scan some documents and sent them to my e-mail address because I had some issues while in Rome (I got pickpocket and my ID's and credit cards, money, everything were stolen). They agreed to let us pay the reservation the next day and with my wife's credit card. So, the hotel staff was really great. Breakfast was ok, although if you wake up late and go around 9.30 AM there are chances to do not find any boiled eggs anymore. Really good WiFi.
The surroundings are looking like you are in ghetto. The room floor was dirty (not cleaned in a while). The walls are very thin you can hear everything inside the hotel. I thought that people exaggerate when they said that the walls are thin and the hotel is noisy but actually its the most poor soundproofing building I've ever been. One more thing, not related to the hotel, but to Rome. The city is full of thieves, more than any other place in Europe and I suggest you to be really careful with your belongings. A money belt under your clothes would be highly recommended. Also, if you chose to travel by Metro be really careful and do not take your hands out of your pockets or of your belongings because, especially the Metros, are full of thieves. Also be careful of "fake tourists".
Staff were excellent. Bathroom let it down. Shower block could do with updating. The shower head was very old and had to be pointed against the wall or the bathroom flooded due to poor shower doors. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Great location. Great bar on its doorstep.
Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Wifi was fast in the reception area.
Restricted wifi (we had to go down to the reception every time we wanted to use the internet). You could pay a little more for a better location closer to the centre of Rome. Shower drained a bit slowly.
Quite small room and really really dirty, dirty bathroom and broken shower.
Very nice place well decorated areas, air conditioned rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful with suggesting places to visit. Definitely recommend CGH.
The noise from outside/downstairs restaurant can get a bit noisey late at night. Wifi not available in rooms on 1st floor. Bed was a little uncomfortable to sleep in but apart from that everything else was good!
Very large rooms
Cheap; close to metro station; quiet
Poor internet connection; a little bit far from city centre
Spacious room. Very nice shower. Generous, tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff especially Annalisa on reception. Laundry just over the road. Supermarket and Metro station only thee minutes away by foot. Good restaurants nearby.
No fridge. No kettle. The mirror lamp in the bathroom was very poorly placed and we bumped our heads on it all the time. The pillows were lumpy. Neighborhood is a bit rundown.
Nice staff, lot os restaurants at neighborhood, 5 min walking to metro, clean room.
my room was at the same floor of restaurant. At breakfast was really noise.
Close to the metro station. Friendly staff.
Part of the staff don't speak english and sometimes it is really hard to comunicate. The internet doesn't work so well.
booked a room for 3 persons & i'v find a matrimonial bed & a chair that unfolds. This was not a problem until i saw sheets only for the matrimonial bed. We slept all 3 in the matrimonial bed. In the morning we realize that the matrimonial bed was infact 2 small beds united. the chair that unfolds wasn't clean, the room wasn't clean, the balcony wasn't clean. we arrived friday & wanted to stay one more day & the price jumped from 57 Euros to 90 Euros per night (variable prices per day)
Friendly and helpful stuff, 2 minutes to metro and then about 15 minutes to city center. Good base for city visiting, about 2 km to aqueducts.
Poor breakfast, everyday the same, but not only sweet servings as in other hotels
Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.
Bathrooms were very poor with little facilities for comfort. Showers were unacceptale with very poor flow and drainage. This area needs complete refurbishment.
nice modern room, very clean, the first night the air conditioning is not working properly then the staff help us arrange with another room which works far better. very close to the metro station, also got some (nice and cheap) local shops restaurants nearby. very pleasant experience in general.
the wifi is not working properly on the floor we lived, but the other floor the signal is quite ok
The internet was poor, only on two days out of seven days was the internet good. The neighbourhood was dirty
Very good value, reasonable facilities and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. As it was close to friends, it was perfect for our needs.
It's close to the subway station; the room is clean and nice:)
Very good hotel, breakfast includes eggs and all standard foods, rooms are fine. We found that usually there is some free public parking space near the hotel, so no need to pay for parking.
Great staff, good value for money, great aircon, hotel very close to train station.
Very good. Thank you
The room was tidy and spacious, location far from the city center but very easily reachable by metro. The staff was very helpful and spoke good english. Good pizzerias nearby, otherwise there is not much to see in the neigbourhoods. Location is anyway quite safe and quiet. Taxi from Fiumicino airport takes 30-60 min depending on the traffic hour. Great value for the money if you're looking for a nice, small, low budget-hotel.
The breakfast was served in a small roof-terrace (no views anyway) and you must prepare to wait for a table. The breakfast is also very simple.
Friendly, helpful staff, very close to the underground so all locations in Rome were easily accessible. Pleasant room with all necessary facilities. Good value for money. We would definitely stay here again
