Excellent location, very good restaurants near the hotel. Sara was awesome and very kind. She prepared our breakfast very nicely. The guy from reception that I don't remember the name was also pretty nice. He gave us some tips about Mt. Etna tour and treated us quite well.
The bathroom needs some renovation. It's old fashioned, but there was no problem.
The staff, especially Sara and Fracisco were extremely helpful in making suggestions, waiting for us to arrive and calling for tours and taxis. The room was large and the beds comfortable.
The unfortunate part was having to choose between fresh air or becoming misquitoe food all night long.
If you need a room for 1-2nights,this b&b is a very good option! Near to the center & port, wher you can parc your car for 2 eur/night!
the breakfast. you must make more things to choose from and a bigger toaster. more room too cause if more people meet there is not enough room. but after all i give you a rate of 8 out of 10. thanks.
Location in term of city attractions. Good design and some usefull information as maps, where to go, events, etc.
Room extremely noisy beside a heavy road and some bars until very late so impossible to sleep.
Hotel is located on a very busy street - it felt ESPECIALLY at night.
It is more like an upgraded hostel instead of a 3 star B&B. I would give it 2 stars.
The staff here are really friendly. As we will leave early the next morning, they prepared breakfast in advance for us. I didn't book baby court but they provided it to us. The room is very big. Although it is old, it is clean. Several sentries are near the hotel.
Parking is not free.
Staff is very helpful, rooms are big, clean and facility is ok.The property is near places of attraction
the location of the property is a little bit far from the central station.
very friendly staff. make sure you call or write to them before you arrive. the ceiling of the room is very high and beautiful... but it doesn't make killing mosquitos difficult. mosquitos are everywhere in italy though, be sure to have something for it.
There is really nothing to eat at breakfast. The shower curtain is not clean.
Close to main sights-bus to airport is in front of the B&B
Nothing-just one small point, the shower curtain needed to be changed as mentioned by another guest.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were holidaying in 2 locations, staying at Civitas B&B at the beginning and end of our holiday + were able to leave a bag at the hotel free of charge. Advice on the best place to catch the airport bus.Close to Piazza del Duomo, but also within walking distance of the railway station.
Our room has noisy fan in the shower and noisy bed. The internet is not stable
Staff were friendly and always happy to help, allowing us early access to the kitchen on the day we went to Mount Etna.
ONLY small complaint was ONE day came back to strong smell of cigarette smoke in room, assume from cleaner, but just opened a window. Not much really.
Do not let let them give you to room to the street - you won t sleep because of the noise. I got no receipt for the payment.
Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - within walkable distance to the train station and right on the airport bus route. It is also very close to the fish market and all the other attractions.
The size of the room was good. Staff were nice.
Unbearable noise at night!! If you stay, particularly during the weekend, in the room overlooking the street, you will not sleep at all! There are three bars just beneath the room and each plays music at full volume with people partying on the street until 4am.
The staff is excelent and the location too :-)
One of the best rooms I've ever been to - this hostel is located in the old house in the very centre of the city, so it's has it's style.
Very nice person who checked me in. Most accommodating.
Convenient location (in terms of transportation and sightseeing accessibility), helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and facilities, climate control, WiFi in common area and some rooms.
Noisy street outside and not ideal sound isolation of the windows (but still bearable). Price is slightly higher than I expected it to be in Italy. WiFi signal is bad in some rooms.
Staff were very helpful and always there to help. Located in a central area but still within walking distance to the train station. TRY A CANNOLI and an ARANCINI.
There were a few mosquitoes in the room as we opened the window.
