Hotel Clari  

Their 4 course evening meal was excellent..changed every night and very tasteful..they must have a good chef..also very good value. I have been used to going out to local restaurants when I ski..usually pizza's and such like..and the evening more expensive. Staff helpful on all occasions re travel/information etc.

Elf & safety: I was amazed to find the area immediately outside the Clari hard iced over and like a skating rink. Surely it is not too difficult to keep that area clear and dry (use sacks of salt!!!) As it was..I Had one fall on ice in the village (none skiing!). Had I slipped and broken an ankle outside the Clari say..what chance would I have had to sue the Clari?- None!! That alone is unacceptable. Also: Have never been to a ski hotel/guest house before that didn't have heated metal spars where the ski boots are hung..so they dry out overnight from sweaty feet. They definitely need to put heating in.

Friendly Staff, Very Clean Hotel.

Distance from ski lifts, my error in not checking location off hotel. Done a fair bit of walking everyday, helps to burn the calories off was my attitude.

Bedroom was a decent size with quality furnishings the en-suite was excellent. The food in the restaurant was reasonable.

Nice people, good food (dinner and breakfast), gorgeous espressi/cappuccini and delicious beer on tap from Augsburg, Germany

Electronic payment (EC/Visa/Mastercard) didn't work because of issues with a new system.

Location was just on edge of town so walkable to restaurants etc. Breakfast had a good choice.

Restaurant closed in summer, Booking.com needs to amend it's details.The upside was we found "The Kilt", very Italian great value Restaurant, worth going to despite obscure name. Dome disco in front of hotel may be a problem in winter months if expecting a quiet stay, fortunately closed in summer but bit of an eyesore.

Not nice. Room with no window, just a sky light - no blinds, no ventilation. Not really suitable for use as a bedroom at all.

Incredibly friendly staff (Anna) always keen to help. We were skiing in nearby Montgenvre so already had a car but location is only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Claviere. Rooms were a good size and although the walls were thin, the noise in the hotel was generally quiet.

Only disappointment was that we were unable to book massages for the end of the ski day - only at 3pm in the afternoon when we still wanted to be on the slopes.

The Receptionist at the hotel was fantastic. Her English was 'interesting' but better than my Italian/French! The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was fairly basic but adequate. We stayed just one night as a stop gap between our flight and the start of a skiing holiday. We paid €100 per room per night, which for the time of year I consider a little expensive, but it served its purpose well. Faced with the same situation, I would definitely stay at the Clari again, and recommend it to other potential customers.

Quite difficult to find. The hotel is set back from the road, behind large electric gates. We drove around the village for half an hour, passing it regularly, but had to ask locals for directons in the end. Also not easy when you don't speak good Italian!

Niet erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Soms te koud op de kamer. Taalprobleem ( erg beperkt mbt de franse taal).

Chambre spacieuse et propre, de grands lits. Le personnel sympathique.

Insonorisation : un bébé a beaucoup pleuré dans une chambre à côté. L'escalier glissant de 15 marches à l'entrée que j'ai débaroulé. Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. La salle à manger aux fenêtres fermées, pas de lumière.

Station très petite, peu de monde sur les pistes, très sympa. Personnel hôtel Clari très sympa. Bonne restauration: gastronomie italienne des montagnes. Trop copieux à mon goût, super petits-déjeuners. Jolies chambres, bien arrangées et spacieuses. Centre bien être très agréable. Bon rapport qualité/prix - à peine plus cher qu'un hotel tout aussi familial situé près des pistes mais dont les chambres étaient la moitié de la taille.

Petit bémol la courte marche à pied aux pistes - dur au retour des pistes! Personnel très sympa mais peut-être un peu trop 'cool' par moments. Le centre de bien être était payant - 15€ annoncé (donc par visite?), nous n'avons payé qu'une seule fois en fait mais cela n'était pas clair du tout. Et nous l'avons partagé à deux reprises avec un enfant de quatre ans - quand le centre est interdit aux moins de 18 ans. Manque de vigilance du personnel.

Staff muito prestativo. Quartos grandes. Tudo novo e limpo. Café da manhã farto e variado. Gostei de Tudo...

Cibo ottimo e abbondante, pulizia eccellente, servizio pulmino per sciatori molto comodo. Staff gentile e simpatico. Tutto sommato ottima rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Problemi riscontrati: camera assegnata (anche se bella e nuova) troppo piccola; avevo prenotato e pagato in anticipo per una tripla invece ci e' stata assegnata una doppia con aggiunta di un letto... Potete immaginare non si riusciva neanche a passare per andare in bagno. Problemi con l'erogazione dell' acqua calda per ben 2 sere su 4 . Deposito sci senza serpentine per asciugatura scarponi... Puo' sembrare di poco interesse ma per degli sciatori tutto il giorno in pista.. Avere sempre I piedi bagnati non e' il massimo Il costo del centro benessere e' veramente esagerato 15.00 euro a persona... Neanche fossero le terme di Bormio....
