Hotel Clelia  

Comfortable family hotel in a green location downtown of a small Italian coastal village nearby the famous Cinque Terre and Portofino. Very kind and helpful staff who speak both Italian, English, German and French! Very good price/quality, especially for the extra's such as drinks, internet, etc. a place where we felt very welcome!

The very friendly English speaking staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, this was superb accommodation away from the crowds of Monterrosso and the other Cinque Terre villages. It is in a quiet town, 5min walk from the train station, and only 1/2 min walk from a wonderful beach where you have access to your own sun lounge and umbrella if available depending on amount of people on the beach. I found as a sole traveller this is the best accommodation I have stayed in. There was a laundry to use whenever you needed to, the restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced and the breakfast which comes with the price of the room was fantastic. You could even purchase your local train tickets for daily visits to Cinque Terre and beyond. I would high recommend anyone to stay there. The night I arrived I felt like cup of tea in my room and that was no trouble either. So the people who work there are in the business to please all.

Loved everything.

This is family owned hotel and the whole family is very polite and hospitable. They make you feel welcomed and want to make your stay as good as possible. The breakfast is very good and unfortunately we did not have time to try the dinner but it looked excellent. So we strongly recommend it. The hotel is clean and nice and is a good choice if you want to see Cinque Terre. There is a railway station very close to the hotel with the good connection to the Cinque Terre and also the Portofino direction.

Friendly and very helpful staff, beautifully maintained hotel. Excellent onsite restaurant very good location,near train station to both cinque terra and rive ligura! Also excellent access to laundry facilities at very reasonable rates.

We had a room at the back of the hotel where maintenance equipment was kept.this was a little noisy in the afternoon at times however nice and quiet at night.

i would say for people who will mainly spend their time in Cinque Terre, this is not an ideal location, since you will need to take a train to Cinque Terre with a few stops, i would suggest to stay in one of the five villages, not Dieva Marina...you will have to catch the train schedule,,,,

Helpful staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, close to train and beach, lovely pool area, guests can use laundry for 2 euro which is handy. Comfortable rooms.

Our room was on the first floor near the stairs and it was a little bit noisy. Also, the bathroom was tiny.

Hotel Clelia is a good base from which to visit Cinque Terre, with the railway station a short walk away. So it is a good hotel if you are travelling by rail, but as it also has secure parking, it is also good if you are travelling by car. The hotel is located in Devia Marina which is a small town that was quiet when we stayed in late April. However there are some restaurants and bars in walking distance. The place has a good pool for the summer, and the restaurant was also good ( and popular ) Breakfast was well above average for Italy, with a wide selection and excellent coffee.One of the staff spoke English well, and was very helpful. They allowed us to use the laundry, which was very helpful when travelling for weeks. We would recommend Hotel Clelia, and would certainly go back there.

Price and welcome

Personnel très accueillant, la situation géographique est parfaite pour des personnes voulant se rendre aux Cinque Terre avec le train (15 minutes de train jusqu'à Monterosso). Les chambres sont peu isolées mais très propres. Jardin magnifique et nourriture de l'Hôtel excellente.

Idéal pour passer des vacances lorsque l'on aime la marche. Une multitude de promenades sur les sentiers à flanc de coteaux + baignades. Cet hôtel à deux pas de la gare, permet de se déplacer exclusivement en train (peu onéreux), en oubliant sa voiture sur le parking gratuit de l'hôtel. Idéal pour la découverte des "Cinque Terre" et régions avoisinantes jusqu'à Portofino.

La gentillesse, la compétence et l'amabilité du personnel à la réception et au restaurant, ainsi que du personnel de nettoyage. Le confort digne d'un 5 étoiles, avec ordinateur et internet gratuits dans la chambre, la tv grand écran avec réception satellite, une climatisation parfaite, le parking et la piscine gratuits, l'excellente qualité du buffet au déjeuner et des repas au restaurant.

Prima nette en ruime kamer. Eigen (gratis) parking bij het hotel was super. Prima uitgebreid ontbijt. Goed restaurant met uitgebreide kaart. Loopafstand van het station (voor bezoek Cinque Terre) Voor herhaling vatbaar!!
