Hotel Clodio  

Thought the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially OLEG who went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay a most enoyable one.

Expected the roof deck to be opened on a more regular basis.

Vincinzo at the front desk was very nice and helpful. He spoke English and was really patient with us.Hotel was clean, shower water pressure was strong and towels were huge...ask for a balcony room. For breakfast they had scramble eggs and bacon besides all the regular Italian stuff.

Internet is a little slow at times and the hotel is way closer to the Vatican then all the other stuff. Vatican is about a 15 minute walk.

Quite good location, with a wide choice of buses taking us to the center. At the reception desk very friendly and helpful staff. They would willingly answer any question. Room was comfortable, clean and a perfect size. Breakfast was quite tasteful comparing to other hotels in Italy.

The journey to the center by bus or by bus+metro was much time consuming, not many restaurants is the area. The wifi was working poorly. There was no tea/coffee service in the room.

Not in the centre of the Rome, but for us that was the best part, neat to the bus station and in 8-10 minutes you are in the Vatican. The staff was very polite and helpfull.

Breakfast was very poor and the coffee was awful, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was fairly good, with a choice of cereal, cooked, or continental styles. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, tidy, and modern.

The bedrooms were on the small side, although the bathrooms were large. Also, it's a fair walk from hotel Clodio to most of the tourist sites, although there's a bus stop close by. The metro station is about 10 minutes walk away.

Very good service from reception/ cleaning. Always available to help. Very clean room. Near to vatican by walk (20mins) and to the bus station served the historical Rome. Very good Quality/price. I recommand.

No near restaurants to the hotel (at least 15 mins walk).

The breakfast is the best I had among the hotels I stayed in Italy.

The additional charge for my child (4 year old). They insisted to over charge me because of my child even if I did not require extra bed.

Personnel at reception is kind. The wifi is free and works fine also in all rooms. Breakfast good with delicious "cornetti" and yogurt.

Cosy. Furnished in a lovely vintage style. Spacious bathroom with a window. A lovely little terrace is a big plus. Good location to visit Vatican, about 15 minutes on foot. Not far from the hotel there is a choice of minimarkets, supermarket or a market with Italian farmer food. The personal on reception is helpful and friendly. It was pleasure to stay here.

Terrible location. 30-40-50 dollars away by cab from everywhere you want to go or a very long walk in the rain to the subway. Great place for Catholics. Near Vatican City. Too far away from everything else.

The Hotel was just perfectly placed being 10 minutes wal from the Vatican where the main tourist networks were located and 2 minutes walk from hotel to bus station. The staff were exceptionally nice and the room service and cleanliness was exceptional. The spacious balcony with comfortable couch and eating area was the 'icing on the cake' after a busy day to come back and relax in style was fabulous - being smokers was very welcome. The breakfast offered was really good and something for everyone with friendly obliging staff. ( The beautiful church Santa Lucia next door was worth seeing too.)

Hotel location was not reachable directly by metro as it was a really time consuming journey. Morover, breakfast venue was like a dead point yard.
