Hotel Santa Costanza is in north-eastern Rome, a 10 minute walk from Bologna Metro Station. It enjoys good bus services to Termini Station and has free Wi-Fi.
Score from 732 reviews Very good
Breakfast was good. Hotel staff was friendly. Close to the metro stop of the main metro line.
Location. It's close to the metro stop but the surroundings are awful. Very dirty smelly streets with lots of full garbage containers, so all 7 mins walk from the metro stop to the hotel I was trying to hold my breath. Cockroaches on the ground floor. After moving to the upper floor room didn't see them again. Smelly carpets. Also were cleaner on the upper floor.
closeness of the metro
I don't understand how a city tax is calculated. In a hotel where my colleagues stayed it was 3.50, not 6 Euro
position, comfort, cleanliness and pleasant staff together with a good buffet breakfast.
Very close to the metro station
The staff was very friendly. Our room was small, but clean and pleasant. The location of the hotel is convenient for city sightseeing - in the quiet surroundings, only 5 minutes on foot from the Cornelia metro station. Breakfasts were richer than typical Italian breakfasts - there were also scrambled eggs, bacon, salami, cheese, yoghurt, cornflakes, etc.
The heater in the room was hot even when the temperature outside was about 20 degrees Celsius. There was no regulator to decrease or turn off the heating. It was too hot even at night and we had to sleep by the open balcony door, heating the atmosphere by the way. Maybe we were not the only doing that and therefore the temperature in Rome is so high :)
I had 5 nights here after touring Italy by bus. The metro station was a short distance away, only a 10 minutes walk & I had the best time going to different parts of Rome each day. The staff were very approachable & helpful & I'd definitely stay there again.
My only issue was the selection of breakfast food. There was no muesli or fresh fruit either, on most days.
everything is fair
defently not worth 4 stars.
Personnel were very kind, helpful and professional. Breakfast was great, had many options. Room was well decorated with big tv and a safe. Bed was very big and comfortable. 5 minutes walk to metro station cornelia(exit via boccia)
Bathroom had some maintenance issues. The sink was blocked and the bathroom window was stucked and we couldn't open it.
The breakfast buffet The staff were very helpful. The hotel was very clean. Easy to find. Close to the metro. The bedroom was quiet. This hotel would be similar to a premier inn in England. It was good value for its money but nothing remarkable
The area was a bit dodgy. The bedroom was very small.
Staff service is very good and cleaning also well mentioned and very very friendly atmosphere. Thanks it is very good hotel for economically point of view as well site also good near to Metro Station (metro train )
The hotel was of a good standard, comfortable, clean and decent breakfast. Local restaurant around the corner is also excellent. Transport links are easy. I would book again.
Attitude of the staff, accessibility
In room WiFi is not working. We have to go to retsepshen where it works very slowly
Quiet area but close to subway, good breakfast, nice rooms, good price for what it is.
Shouldn't be a four-star hotel. In price, comfort and amenities it's a typical three-star affair. The only point we noticed it had four stars instead of three was in the tourist tax (4.50 pppn)
200 mt to Metro Station 15 min to Vatican,30 min to Termini via Metro Balcony
Nothing around Hotel Not exactly 4 stars Hotel, near 3 stars maybe Need to have better Breakfast Not helpfull staff Lots of mosquitos or something else in room Need Better Wi-fi
Train station somehow close
