Golden Tulip Rome Airport Isola Sacra  

I've stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. Its proximity to Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino) has been the first attraction. It's only ten minutes away by taxi. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is good; the restaurant, the Porto Antico, excellent. I do not hesitate to recommend it very strongly to anyone.

The only thing I did not like about the hotel concerns the navetta service, both to the airport and to the city centre. It is currently offered against payment. It should be made free, even if the price has to be included elsewhere. The second point is that the service to and from the city centre should be offered at more regular intervals. The navetta service should be an attraction, an incentive to book at this hotel.

The hotel staff were very helpful and they spoke english really well considering it was Italy. We stayed in another hotel for a portion of our stay in Rome and they didnt speak a lot of english and it made it hard to communicate. The pool was beautiful and the garden around was lovely. Our room had a balcony over looking the pool and it was wonderful. Very clean and modern.

The only down side was the Restaurant food was not great and there was nothing else close to eat.

the availability of the airport shuttle on arrival at the airport. However the shuttle runs only at certain times. To find the shuttle at this moment you need to go to arrival terminal 3. Go out at the first door, cross the street towards the carparking D. There you'll find the shuttle. In case you arrive outside the scheduled shuttle times, there is also the Cotral bus (outside terminal 2). Tickets from the bar inside Euro 1. On the bus Euro 7. The rooms are very nice, nice restaurant, good breakfast,nice pool.

The hotel was convenient to the airport lovely new facility very clean with large bathrooms and great shower we had supper at the hotel restaurant and it was the best food we had during our 15 days in Italy it was great

The location and the shuttle to and from the airport. The superior rooms are excellent and the pool and surrounding areas are very nice! Also, the restaurant was quite good.

Finding the hotel shuttle took me two hours! Make sure you get explicit directions preferably in an email before you come. Also, notice the hours of the shuttle as they do not start until late afternoon. A cab ride the 3 km to the airport can cost as much as 25Euro so if you are booking because of the shuttle and the price of the hotel, you want to make sure you are not having to take a taxi. Most staff were just fine but the man in charge of getting the breakfast ready in the morning was a bit surly. I had been assured I could grab a croissant and coffee in the morning before the opening time of the breakfast. This man did not think so and was quite rude.

The hotel is near the airport a short drive, we went at night. And we injoy to slieap some ours.

Dinner is excellent, good value and good taste. .

Hotel was not helpful, in arranging transport from airport after 9 pm

Nice employees, very clean rooms, comfortable. I had a very pleasant stay.

The system to get the electricity to work in the room was absolutely not clear. I am a frequent traveler, I have seen many systems but some clearer indications where to insert the room key would have helped. I had the impression the room keys were almost to large for the lock.

Most of all, I strongly recommend the hotel restaurant. Fughi Pizza was one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. Also, risotto was very nice. Hotel facility was also nice, and room was very large and clean. This hotel deserves to be recommended only EXCEPT one problem,as follows.

Taking shuttle bus was very difficult(actually terrible). If a person related to the hotel, please give the location information for taking bus with map at your hotel web page or booking.com.

No internet connection in the room neither in the lobby

Our room was very nice and the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was a let down. There was no bar in the hotel. That is a place to sit and relax.

Breakfast is OK, however only 1 coffee machine working, which implies that you have to wait most of the time, is strange and quite ridiculous for this kind of hotel.
