Personeel spreekt allemaal goed engels.Mooie omgeving, rustig gelegen, ideaal voor mototrips te doen.

Avondeten in eigen restaurant te duur en te weinig voor de prijs die gevraagd wordt.Aanbod is ook te beperkt.Het ontbijt daarentegen is oké

Sfeervol hotel midden in chianti, vlakbij een mooi dorpje. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goede informatievoorziening. Heerlijk zwembad met tuin. Kleinschalig. Ruime kamers, goed sanitair (wij zaten in het bijgebouw). Geen overlast ondevonden van de weg. De nachten waren inmiddels genoeg afgekoeld, dus geen behoefte aan airco. Wel stond een ventilator op de kamer. Perrfect als uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen, of gewoon om te luieren in de tuin met een boekje erbij.

De koffie bij het ontbijt is niet lekker, lijkt oploskoffie! En dat in Italië.... Ontbijt is trouwens excl., dat was ons op voorhand niet geheel duidelijk. Kost 9 € pp per dag extra. Wel een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt.

Prettige ontvangst, goed buitenterrein met tuin en zwembad. Prima uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen.

Very clean, quaint rooms. Location was perfect for Chianti touring.

Room close to receptionist were noisy and rooms above were also noisy, not a big problem though. Dogs barking in the area at night were also somewhat of an issue.

salivolpi is the ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy the chianti region of Tuscany. It is located centrally if you want to make day trips to surrounding towns. The town of Castellina In Chianti is charming and has everything you need if you just want to stay put. It's about a ten minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, charming and romantic. The value was excellent. Simona and the rest of the staff were friendly , helpful and accommodating. We would stay there again in a heartbeat .

For us, it was the perfect place for a romantic vacation. There was not much to criticize. The only change I would suggest to them is to include the wifi for free.( I should note that they did not charge us but they do have a fee per day usage )

A good hotel in a nice, quite location with a good swimming pool. Overall a good stay, especially if it would have been less warm.

Although an old fashioned cooler was placed in the room, the hotel misses a real good airconditioner. A real pitty, because now we were hours awake because it was to warm. With it, I would rate this hotel probably the best of our week stay, without it, as it is, unfortunately not.

The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. In the summer, with 38ºC, the pool is excellent to relax and cool down when returning from Florence, Siena or any of the small villages around. The location is also great at the edge of Castellina, a very nice historical village where everything is at walking distance. Several nice restaurants nearby.

Rooms have no air-conditioning and the portable fans available were not enough to cool the room at night.

The friendliness of the staff made the stay really relaxing. Sylvia and her colleagues ensured that we had everything we needed. The pool was very clean and just what we needed after a day in 38 degree sunshine. The hotel is in an excellent location for visitng the sites in Tuscany. It is only a short walk to centre of Castelina and allowed a walk past a great icecream parlour. All in all .. a great place to stay.

It would have been useful to have aircon in our room... although the kids had it in theirs. However the fans provided worked well.

This was an amazing location. Sited on top of a hill overlooking vineyards and olive orchards. It is a 15th century farm house that has been lovingly re-created into a great B&B. The rooms were very comfortable, staff were friendly, available and always ready to assist. The pool, breakfast, surrounding and being so close to the local village was incredible. It felt like being at home and leaving was not an easy thing to do. I would not hesitate to return or recommnend anyone to visit. Truely an amazing hotel.

The location is excellent for visiting Florence and Sienna and smaller charming towns in Tuscany. The room was very nice and romantic, quiet and cosy. The staff was friendly, english speaking and very helpful. Beautiful surroundnings, nice pool, and the breakfast was ok.

There are no air conditioning in the rooms, and you can get better breakfast at a pasticceria.

The farmhouse setting is warm and comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay in Chianti!

Room was terribly hot in afternoon, but the staff provided us with an additional fan that made all the difference.

It was convenient for Chianti and the room and bathroom were very pleasant.

The whole site is in a corner of a road junction at the top of a hill. This meant that it can be quite noisy with trucks and cars in low gear stopping and starting. We were woken up by this a couple of mornings and the road is right alongside the swimming pool (though you cannot see it due to well placed trees).

Lovely place and very central to so much of Chianti. An ideal place to base yourself for a week to explore the Chianti district; everything from Florence in the north to Sienna in the south and the many villages in the area, all the great places were within 3/4 of an hour's drive. Very friendly people and a lovely town to base ourselves in.
