Colomba d'Oro se află la doar 150 de metri de Arena di Verona, în clădirea restaurată a unei mănăstiri medievale din centrul istoric. Acest hotel elegant oferă camere cu aer condiţionat şi televizor LCD cu programe prin satelit. Hotelul Colomba d'Oro este la 3 minute de mers pe jos de Centrul de Expoziţii Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Malurile râului Adige sunt la 200 de metri. Camerele au un decor în stil clasic şi ferestre izolate fonic. Fiecare cameră include control climateric independent şi o baie privată cu marmură, dotată cu uscător de păr şi prosoape moi. Micul dejun se serveşte sub forma unui bufet amplu, într-o sală luminoasă cu mozaic şi ziduri de piatră autentice. Se poate ajunge pe jos la mai multe restaurante excelente. Hotelul este la 1,5 km de gara din Verona şi la 20 de minute de mers cu maşina de Aeroportul Villafranca. We had beautiful new windows. We could open them when ever we wanted to, so we got a nice afternoon air, and then we closed them to sleep. It was very close to the Arena, one block away was just wonderful, so we could go back to our room to use the washroom when ever we wanted to from Piazza Bra. We had the included breakfast and I thought it was a very good breakfast. The beds a a bit harder than beds at home in Canada. So this was the only things I felt was a little hard to adjust to, but really they were just fine.

Excellent location,great breakfast,very clean,lovely staff. Air conditioning was not working,could be a bit noisy outside the window early in the morning,E.G.somebody emptying rubbish bins and bottle containers at 7am.

Location (2 minutes from the Arena) Old Palace restaured taking in account the old inheritage, large and confortable rooms. Breakfast ok with fresh orange juice. Quiet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just next to the arena and all the best shops, but on a quiet street. The room was spacious and very clean. We stayed two nights and the room was cleaned, including bed change after the first night. Also, it was very cold and snowing, but the room was toasty hot, with a thermostat that we could adjust, which was very nice. The only thing, the matress was a bit hard. But we like our beds soft so it may not be an issue for others.

The staff was not friendly. We have been in italy for 2 weeks and are home sick for the states because the italians in the hospitality industry are rude. They act like they are doing you a favor and forget how difficult and expensive it is to travel abroad.

Premium location in Verona, next to Arena Top shops and restaurants are nearby. Close to the railway station. The airport is only 15-20min away by taxi early in the morning Flat and hard pillows Too hot a heater while it is warm outside (16-20 c in October) Inconsistent wi-fi connetcion on all floors

The location was close to everything. Within a minute you are at the forum. Restaurants are everywhere. We walked to the train station but if you have luggage to haul you will need a taxi for a short drive. It takes just a few minutes to walk to the river and the castle. Shopping is everywhere. On our first day we caught the open red bus for a tour of the city and beyond. The second day we caught the bus to Lake Garda and Simione which was well worth it. The third day we leisurely walked the whole "old" city, toured the castle, visited churches, walked along the river, and saw everything we wanted. The hotel was amazing. The staff were very helpful in telling us the layout of the city and spoke English very well. Our room was awesome. We had a turn down service every night. We had a huge marbled bathroom, a walk in closet with ample drawers and hanging space. It was very quiet. The foyer is beautiful with walls and ceiling covered in murals. The hotel was extremely clean. There is a bar and cozy room for evening drinks and facilities for business meetings or conferences. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with the addition of eggs, bacon and sausages. Very good. There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. From our experience I would recommend it to everyone.

The location is near the Arena. It takes just a few minutes. Hotel staff are very kind and polite. Although the price is quite expensive, we were satisfied with their service.

It was my 5th stay in Colomba d'Oro, the second in the last two years. The fair attention of the staff and the confort (and cleaness) of the rooms are really constant - and my special requests (health conditions) on meals have been fully answered.
