The excellent friendly service and the proximity to shopping, good restaurants and all the interesting local Florentine attractions. The beds were a little hard. |

Nice and very helpful staff, especially Rosanna, the owner of this great place. Comfortable room with a very efficient air-con. Very close to the city center. Good breakfast. One minor thing: no Wi-Fi available in the room, just one PC in the main corridor. |

The staff was wonderful and made us feel very much at home and taken care of! Sabina was wonderful, as were the other employees, but my family really bonded with her in particular. The owner lived in Australia for 20 years and was an english teacher. She was very kind to us. Her husband was a very accommodating Italian man, and the housekeeper always had a big smile for us. Guess I just can't say enough about the nice people at the hotel! Also, the breakfast was small, but very thoughtfully chosen. Loved the fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs, not to mention Sabina's rocket full espressos! The quadruple was a good size and had a big bed and 2 singles. Great location a block from L'Accademia (David). Free internet usage, too! Wish there had been nicer linens in the bathroom. A non smoking hotel, but often the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Not sure where it was coming from, but possibly from private apartments in the building. |

Hotel Columba was a good experience. Great location! Roseanne and the entire staff made us feel right at home and provided helpful information. The breakfast was delightful. Thank goodness for your air conditioning the city was very hot during our stay. We heard about your hotel through friends and we will continue to pass on the recommendation. The first night we didn't have enought towels but that was corrected the second night. Bathroom floor needed to be cleaner. |

The location is great - 5 minutes walk to the Duomo, right in the center of everywhere.Rosana is a darling - she was a great help, warm and friendly,gave us a feeling of staying with a family and not just a hotel. |

The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. Although not luxurious, we were very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it for its location and excellent staff. The place isn't easy to spot. You go into a hallway and then up several flights to get to the small lobby. |

Hotel Colomba is ideally located in the historic heart of Florence, a stone throw from the main sights. Though located on the second floor of an old palazzo, it offers all the comforts of a well appointed bed and breakfast, at a great value. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff, especially Rosanna and her husband, the owners, are very welcoming and always available. |

Rosanna was extremely friendly and helpful. Anything we needed, she would help with. She really made our stay. The bathroom was a little awkward. The toilet was on a step and the bidet was practically in the shower. |

The owners were so kind and helpful that we were able to relax ourselves during our stay. The room was simple but spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was excellent, too. Not really. The shower room was very small, but it worked perfectly and we had no problem at all. |

Les plus de l'hôtel : localisation idéale en plein centre, accueil de la gérante, parfaitement bilingue anglais et très chaleureuse (son mari est plus froid) parking privé à 23€/ 24h : ils viennent chercher la voiture et la rapportent, services (internet, mini bar, cable), propreté de la chambre, climatisation et plomberie, très bon petit déjeuner chambre un peu petite, le couloir sentait le tabac froid (malgré les nombreux panneux "interdiction de fumer") |

Excelente atencion por parte del personal (todos son una maravilla en atencion y afecto), hacen del hotel un lugar muy familiar. Esta a menos de 3 minutos andando al Duomo y a poco mas de 5 de la Academia, con una oficina de informacion turistica a dos puertas del hotel. El precio esta muy ajustado para los precios que hay en general en Florencia. Quiza que las habitaciones sean demasiado "austeras" en cuanto a comodidades, pero no por eso son malas |
