Beautifully appointed rooms with lovely murano glass chandeliers. Very helpful staff.

The location was close to St. Mark's Square, shopping and restaurants. The hotel upgraded our room to a beautiful suite. We received a welcome fruit basket. The free breakfast had a good variety of choices, the breakfast room was lovely and bright, and the server very pleasant.

Very few negatives...the rooms were somewhat dark (not unusual for Venice). The bar did not carry Tanqueray gin. That's it!

We have used this hotel previously and it never fails to impress, excellent in every respect. Superb location close to St Marks square.

Hotel Colombina is very well located, close to Piazza San Marco and the Palace Duccale. The breakfast is extremely varied and delicious. The staff is kind and do not hesitate to give touristic informations.

We stayed in the three-level Rialto Suite with the own terasse. It was really nice, especially the high-standard room service and open-hearted reception personal.

The lack of the hot water at the evening, when we were taking shower. Eventhough the water was too hot during the day.

Location (delux room) is superb and decor is good. Delux room with canal view is within stone-throw of the famous bridge. Can enjoy streets being flooded from the balcony after the snow. Hotel prepared breakfast box upon early checkout request.

Booked via this site and paid and charged fully under non-refundable term. Upon checkout hotel insisted it was pre-authorization and charged again. This case is now under investigation.

GREAT location! Easy to find! 2 minutes walk to San Marco! Staff made an excellent recommendation for restaurant! Staff was VERY helpful with local information!

The room/bathroom were pretty small but impeccably clean.

The Hotel was incredibly warm which was lovely as it was 0 degrees outside. The staff were pleasant. We had a wonderful break in this magical city.

The reception staff were efficient but not friendly and not as helpful as we were led to believe.

The hotel is very central in Piazza San Marco and is of good value for money. The room was very clean and breakfast was decent.

Location is excelelnt just 1 minute walking from Piazza San Marco on a "romantic" canal.

Room is extremely small (we were located not in main building) and room temperature too hot.

The Suite overlooking the Bridge of Sighs location being delivered to the hotel by private water taxi was a wonderful experience. The ambience of the breakfast room was delightful

Because the window drapes are so big - that prpbably do not get thoroughly cleaned very often - consequently the room we occuppied smelt dusty.

when we booked we didnt realize that our room would be in an annex which was a bit dissapointing. The shower was very very small.

We enjoyed the central location as well as the help from the front desk on where we could have a dinner a shortly after we arrived. The place was fabulous. We will return to that restaurant when we go back to Venice.

Our room was infested with Mosquitos. We did not expect that for late October. We even has our windows shut. My husband killed them throughout the night because we could not sleep. We might have slept 2 hours. very disappointing. Also, the lights went out every 10 minutes while we were trying to read our books. It seems they were put on timers and wanted to save some energy. We even had the fromt desk come and check the breaker that was tripping out. he said that maybe there was a short. That is ridiculous because the prices were not cheap. I expected more for my money. I would not return to that hotel the next time I am in Venice.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. The accommodations are very nice, comfortable and old world without feeling just old. The location is perfect - close to everything but not so close that you're getting lots of noise and crowds. The staff is super- helpful, eager to suggest and welcoming. They have us several restaurant recommendations all of which were great. Bottom line, there are many places that are very expensive but why so that when this gem is available for much less. A real value - highly recommended!

Location was perfect - overlooking the bridge of sighs, 2mins from St Marks Square, but not overlooking shops or restaurants, so reasonably quiet at night.

Having to wit for breakfast as inadequate provision to cope with guest numbers. I booked a triple room hotel however, it felt a double room with a small bed squeezed against a wall for the third guest.
