Good location for shrine

No room in car park, had to wait until late to get space outside hotel. Could not get a glass of wine after the restaurant closed.

Shower way too small No kettle tea making facilities Director walking around watching everything even while having dinner. bit too much.

Staff are very friendly, room is big, clean and comfy. I'll be back!

No internet inside the room.

Very close to Padre Pio's shrine

The heater was noisy.

Proximity to the Padre Pio sanctuaries. Proximity to the bus station which brings us to the train station. Very good location for those travellers who are elderly or have elderly companions. The breakfast, though continental,was varied and filling. And waiters Johann and Antonio, though not very well-versed in English,were eager to please. Ricardo at the front desk was cordial and helpful and knows just enough English to get the message across.

The night reception and most other staff do not speak English so its hard to communicate. But sign language and a friendly tone always get the message across. They try their best to please you.

First I need to apologise for my previous gross mistake in misunderstanding the billing process of booking.com and the hotel. Location is excellent for those visiting the St Pio Church and very near to bus terminal (5 minutes walk) but town is quite a walking distance away. Staff very friendly and restaurant food is very good with very reasonable prices.

Staff was very helpful from check-in to departure. We especially appreciated the assistance with driving and parking. Hotel is very close to the Padre Pio sanctuary, so a great place to stay if visiting the shrine. Dining room is a good option for guests, especially the variety and value for the evening meal.

If you are not visiting the Padre Pio shrine, there is nothing else in the vicinity. Food options are limited, but (as mentioned earlier), the dining room at the hotel offers good choices for meals.

Great hotel for pilgrimes & nearest to St Padre Pio Shrine, hotel staff friendly & helpful, bustop around corner from hotel, (train from Rome to Foggia was 94 euros return from ticket machine was quoted 100 euros at ticket window ! you can choose uk instuctions & takes aprox 3hrs, remember to validate your ticket before travel, there are green machines around the station just pop your ticket in & it stamps it, otherwise they fine 100 euros ! when you arrive in Foggia station buy bus ticket - from shop inside station, 3 euros one way takes an hour) At hotel recommend taking a travel kettle & tea (we did !) enjojed set lunch / dinner @ 16 euros in hotel incl starter, 1st course 2nd course, side dish, wine & water. Short walk up to Shrine (road is on a hill) very peaceful, remember to cover arms / legs no shorts & t-shirts in shrine, advise to stay for two nights as so much to see & take in then re-visit !

no kettle in room - but this can be solved.. take your own travel kettle & adapter, tea/coffee etc !

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Garage in the premises with access to the room with an elevator.

The lack of shower courtains ! ! ! ! ! ! Even though they carefully clean the bathroom when they do the room, it is a mess to take a shower.

La inmejorable ubicación, la atención y el confort de las instalaciones.

Ottima camera, spaziosa e confortevole (più da 4 stelle che da 3), posizione perfetta sia per chi ha parenti in ospedale (come noi) o per chi vuole visitare la chiesa. Ottimo anche il ristorante annesso, con porzioni abbondanti e piatti saporiti.

Sono stato piu' volte a San Giovanni Rotondo e' non ho mai cambiato albergo, ottima posizione per chi si reca in Ospedale,chi deve visitare il Santuario ,ottimo qualita' prezzo.Consigliatissimo
