The staff was excellent and the location was amazing even in cold weather. Thank you again for the great service.
Simple but provided everything we needed Excellent staff/advice always available Loads of hot water Good value endless breakfast
Some rooms a bit noisy but 5mins from St.Peters so not surprising
If we return to Rome, we will book a room at this hotel again. -close to two metro stops and only a few stops from the main train station, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza del Popolo -easy walk to Vatican City -helpful staff -complimentary map -vibrant decor and bathrooms well-equipped with hairdryer, toiletries, towels. -value for money - cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by
Very clear and confortable hotel, near the city center,
You hear everything from the next rooms (and when someone makes bath you hear the water....). Difficult to fimd the hotel....no big sign and doesnt seem like a hotel from outside
Stayed here for a number of nights in various rooms. Rooms were always a generous size, clean and tidy. Most rooms have a a TV with Italian and English channels. Staff were very friendly and inviting, made us feel at home. There are a couple of computers free to use and also a nice little terrace on the 3rd floor. Only 10-15 min walk from the metro and close to the Vatican, supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. This was by far the nicest budget hotel we stayed in in Rome.
Heaters are closing after 8pm Hot water at shower was not hot There is air conditioner which is not working. In addition; after my complain they bring a heater which is not a heating capability. Wifi was terrible
- Good location, few steps to St Peter and the Vatican Museums - Bus 81 and 87 stop nearby, which take you to the Coliseum and to the old Roman part of Rome - Breakfast was good - Airport pick up taxi sorted out by the hotel - Safe in the room - Clean
- No lift - Pay by cash, no cards accepted - Terrace has no views and very small (not a problem though)
It was stretching it to describe the 'French' bed as a double.
Loved the staff, everyone was really nice. One of the receptionists, Ezster, she recommended us to go to PORTO restaurant, and it was literally the best restaurant (quality/price and quantity) that we tried in Rome.
Location... walking distance to Vatican.... Bathroom very clean.
The room was way too small, we did not have space to move around the bed. Plus the room was next to the stair case very noisy...... plus, no lift... forget to take a heavy luggage there, you will break your back!!!!.
I liked centrally located the hotel was, it was very easy to get to tourist attractions and the staff was very helpful on pointing you in the right direction.
I didn't like how one of my rooms was supposed to have a queen size bed and the hotel pushed two twin size mattresses together with no fitted sheet, so every time I moved the bed moved. Also in the middle of the night I kept falling through the middle of the two bed. This was very annoying.
The location was excellent - about 14 minutes walk to the Vatican. Hotel staff very helpful. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.
Didn't like having to share a bathroom
We like the breakfast.
breakfast would be nice if it started earlier - we couldn't take advantage of that.
Just the location is good.
I wonder why the hotel has such a high rating. It's below average and the service and facilities are poor overall.
Great location, Easy ti found and nice people work there. Less than 5 min walk to Vatican
The bed was really uncomfortable the actual mattresses was really hard and uncomfortable ... It feels like you sleep on the flor
View restricted. Small window
Great location, very close to the Vatican in a nice, quiet area. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright.
It is a little tricky to find (we walked past and missed the hotel twice!) but overall good!
The location and the staff were wonderful,
The first night our air conditioning did not work and there were no other rooms to transfer to. We were compensated with a free breakfast and relocated the second night.
We flew in from sfo to Roma..rented a car and drove to Rimini to see the races. When the races were over we came back to Roma and returned the car.Hotel colors setup transportation back to their location....I don't recommend driving in Roma. ..The stay was great and staff was very proficient with English. ..highly recommend!
Lots of stairs. ...but good work out! Location is hard to find even for an experienced taxi driver....hotels sign is very small...like all establishments.
Modern, colourful, clean the location was great near shops, bars and restaurants...good size rooms and helpful staff
We liked the location.
Having ripped sheets put on the bed. They were re used many a time as the rips were all frayed round the edges. Our room was right opposite the breakfast room so staff came in at 6am to set up so we were awake from 6am. Staff made no attempt to keep thier voices down.
Hotel Colors is centrally located on the Vatican side of the Tiber River known as Prati. It is a quick walk across the other side of the river to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. There are many great restaurants and local bars and cafés in the area.
There was only one toilette on our floor next to the breakfast room. The toilette Is shared but incredibly clean. Strange that there was a shower in our room but no toilette. If you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to go down the hall to use it. The shower in the room has only a clear shower door and no other door. No privacy. My father and I were sharing a room so it was a bit awkward.
friendly, helpful staff. great location. rooms where cleaned everyday, and towels replaced. Great place and I would return.
The shower had mould around the seals, and tiles. WIFI was very poor. Breakfast choice could be better, and the breakfast room was very small.
pleasant atmosphere. affordable in an expensive city. staff willing to accommodate you if they can. good location.
nowhere in the advert did it say that there was no elevator which was a problem for us. if this is made clear, then there's nothing to complain about.
