Not good soundproofing and sometimes bad smells inside the WC . There wasn't any room service , 3 days they didn't change Sheets and towels
Location was the only good thing about this hotel. It was perfect. No crowds at night (unlike Spanish Steps area etc), as a matter of fact we hardly saw any people around at all in the evening on the main road:) 2 metro stations (blue and red line), both within 10 min walk from the hotel. Only few stops to Vatican city and the rest of the sights. About 30min walk to Piazza Navona. 5 min walk to Colosseum. 10 min taxi ride to Trastevere. Near our hotel were great local cafes, pastry shops and a smashing local eatery 3x cheaper than other places (5min walk!) Best food we had while in Rome!
1. we were told the bathroom will be just outside the room. However, it was around the corner next to the main entrance! 2. no privacy whatsoever, you can hear a pin drop!! we heard people snoring in the next room! Forget getting a good nights sleep at this place and having some privacy 3. we were asked for a payment the day we arrived before our bags had even touched the floor. Very unprofessional, even if its an unmanned building they should come back on the day you check out to charge the card as every hotel does as far as I know. Never have I been asked for a payment upon arrival. 4. towels were changed once. room wasn't cleaned at all. we stayed for 4 days, was difficult to manage with the same towels. 5. misleading description about the landmark view. You cant see Colosseum from your window, unless you lean right out of the window and look on your right.
Location was fine; close to Colosseum; city center and Termini. Room was OK and had a large and clean bathroom.
The hotel is in a great location, a couple of minutes walk from the Collosseum. The hotel was lovely and clean and modern decoration. The air con was invaluable! There is a lovely cafe and gelato shop on the corner of the street for breakfast or to just have an amazing ice cream. A really great hotel and fab value for money.
The wifi was great in the morning but was almost unuseable at night due to lack of bandwidth.
1. Location: walking distant to nearby attraction such as Colosseum. Lots of restaurants, small cafes, parks, train station (Colosseum train station - 10mins walk). 2. B&B: Modern and clean. My room is facing the main roads, so you might want to ask for a room that is quieter if you are a light sleeper. Not a problem to me though. This B&B is an apartment actually, the owner 'cut' up the big area into 4 rooms. The space is rather generous, with the amount i paid to stay there. 3. Pretty owner: Oliva is a pretty woman! haha. She's fantastic. Lovely and helpful. She shared lots of information with us. My flight reaches this B&E earlier. So we called up the main line and a guy pick up. Apparently he Oliva's brother who is also the owner of this B&B. He was very helpful. The check in time was 11am, but we reaches at 9am. He called up his immediately and we managed to put our heavy luggage when she swing by at 930am! That was fast even though she dont stay there. What else can i say about these 2 ! EXCELLENT!
It had a good location, close to the Colosseum, metro stations and bars, restaurants. The staff was helpful, we felt welcomed, gave us tips of the city.
The bed was a bit hard, I usually do not complain of beds or pillows, but in this case it wasn't very comfortable. Also, even in September, it was hot, and we couldn't get the AC to start.
The location of the hotel was amazing and the bath spa was so nice to relax in after lots of walking. I can't praise the hotel highly enough. Francisco and Olimpia were so helpful, it really made the stay stress free!
Nothing at all
An apartment, not so much a hotel. Worthwhile for no fuss travellers.
a excellent location to all the famous place.....
Very nice and clean room, simple and nice. The air con and fridge were amazing after a long day in the heat. We had the room with the external private bathroom and it wasn't a problem. Good base for visiting Rome, would stay there again. Owner was lovely, very friendly and helpful when we arrived.
The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was good.
The check in process is a little challenging because it is not a staffed hotel. Still worth the money.
Good location close to Colosseo, not noisy, air conditioning.
Location was excellent. Very close to the station which is a few stops from the city centre, not to mention a comfortable walking distance from many of Rome's local attractions. Staff were very friendly and the value for money is undeniable.
Air conditioning in the room wasn't working, which was a real shame considering how hot it was during our stay. Wi Fi was a bit patchy but a luxury regardless.
The Colosseo panorama was in a great location close to the metro and a short stroll from the Colusseum and the Roman Forum. Everything was neat and tidy with ample room for our stuff and Olimpia was very helpful when required.
We generally enjoy a hot cup of tea before we go to bed but unfortunately there was no facilities in our room for this and also the wireless was problematic in most of the room.
Excellent location ,walking distance to all the sites
Nice clean room. Aircond worked very well. Nice big bathroom. Perfect location. Couldn't ask better for this price!!
Great location and the staff was extremely helpful at check-in. Room was quiet and no issues with other guests. Very close to tourist sites of significance as well as metro/bus stops.
There is no on-site staff. They check you in and then you drop your keys in box at check out.
The room was nice and bright and the bathroom vert nice and clean. Just up the road from the Colosseum and the tram was just across the street from the main entry door. It was a very good place to see Rome from. The 'Colosseo' railway station was just 5 mins walk away. There was a nice little coffee shop 1 minute away to grab a quick coffee and croissant on the way to the station. Would definitely stay here again if in Rome. Thanks Olimpia!!
Just a little more advice to new arrivals on what to expect when they enter the main foyer of the building at ground level. The 'Colosseo Panorama' is on the 4th floor and the main foyer is not serviced or 'part of' Colosseo Panorama. The button to 'buzz up' to your accommodation is on the left side of the wooden doors at street level. Olimpia, who was lovely and very informative runs you through everything on arrival. Make sure you arrive in the agreed 'time window' as they are not on site all the time. The lift is old style but very efficient although a little tight for 2 adults and 2 x large suitcases.
Location was wonderful and Olympia was very welcoming.
We could not get the tv to work.
The hospitality of the owners was great.
Luv bath and super clean.. And bed
Should have kettle in room
Friendly and helpful staff, location close to the city center, public transport in front of the door, hardly any noise despite located next to a busy road, modern and clean interieur.
Nothing worth complaining about.
Location is perfect, only 2 minute walk from the colosseum. Staff were very helpful when we arrived and pointed us in the right direct for restaurants/nightlife ext.
Location was great, very easy to hop on a bus or catch the Metro. Spa bath was excellent after a long day of walking!
Great location, friendly greeting upon arrival, which was 9am! Before arriving I received an email from the hotel about my eta, they met me there bang on time which was great, checked in there n then, wouldn't stay again tho because I like to try diff hotels
No bath for the girlfriend, I'm a shower man so was perfect for me :)
