The attitude of the manager leaves much to be desired The room was not clean Wifi only worked sometimes We had to use the same towels for three days No daily cleaning service Room small
The only benefit of this place is the location is close to the Colloseum

Apartment was very old fashioned and in need of updating. The heater in the room didn't work properly, so we went to bed wearing layers of clothes. It also rained one day while we were there and we were unable to dry our clothes. We could also hear every sound in the apartments around us. Walls are very thin. There was also no wifi.
We stayed in the apartment located on Via San Giovanni in Laterano. It was about a five minute walk to the colleseum and the metro station. Lots of shops and bars around. We had good hot showers every morning.m

The apartment needs total overhaul! No shower head, sofa bed broken and uncomfortable, queen bed hard and uncomfortable, kitchen poorly equipped. WiFi conection limited, only lasted half day although host did compensate for this. The great location was our only saving grace!!
Location perfect to visit many of the sights in Rome

The unit only has 1 shower and the hot water would go on and off while you were showering! There are however 2 toilets so for 10 people it can get a bit hard! May i suggest a guest "hand book" of sorts so guests will know how to turn off the heat, how to turn it on, how to use the wifi, how to use the washing machine (all instructions were in italian only), etc. The apartment is on the 4th floor of an apartment bldg with locals living in it. There are a few stairs before reaching the elevator (which can only accomodate 1 person w 1 luggage or 2 persons at a time!). If you are traveling with a handicapped/elderly person this may be a challenge. There are only 2 keys to the unit and no instructions were given on which doorbell we could use (it wasn't clearly indicated in the door) so going in and out had to be planned! Parking is tight in the area so we had to carry our suitcases about a block away in order to load them into our van.
The apartment was as advertised. Enough room for 10 adults. The kitchen was big enough and spacious. It would have been nice if there was a living room area where we could all hang out in comfort but not necessary. The dining room sufficed. The location was very good with several restaurants around the area. There was also a coffee shop right across the street for breakfasts and a yummy gelateria next door. The Colosseum was about 3 blocks away (with a metro stop there). There was also a grocery nearby for kitchen supplies.

The email received from Coloseum apartments stated clearly that we can early check-in for 30 euros. We called them at 6.45 am and the hung up, mad that we dared to wake them up, after we called one day earlier and told them we will arrive early in the morning. Free wifi was stated in the description but they tried to charge us 30 euros for wifi. There was a dead fly on the bedroom floor and the air was not right. For 900 euros 4 nights accommodation this is the worse possible thing money can buy. We went to a 4 star hotel and payed 850 euros for 5 nights. This apartment doesn't meet even 1 star conditions.
There are no good sides there.

Not celan enough. Very very poor wi fi. Too expensive for what it was worth. Broken plates, dirty cultery, licking bathroom top
Very close to Colosseum and Termini. Nice quiet neighberhood, lots of shops (supermarket, bars etc)

To get to the main bedroom you have to go through to the 2nd bedroom which compromises privacy. The wifi wasn't very good.
Lord Enzo was great. He welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know. He also gave us a lift to the airport for 30Euros. The main bedroom was lovely with big windows. There was aircon on both bedrooms The kitchen was brand new Location was fantastic. Peaceful enough but wasn't too far away from restaurants and sites. There's a wonderful restaurant just outside the apartment. We had amazing candle light dinners there. It was clean.

Lack of washing machine but still excellent service and apartment
It's a great place with new upgraded equipment. Really enjoyed the stay.

The manager wasn't helpful when he emailed us the day before arrival about when we were going to meet at the apartment to get the key. I repeatedly asked for the address and he just the address of your booking. Which wasn't specific it just had a street name. Turns out he had a an additional email that specified the address. He told us his phone number to call when we arrived but when I said the phone number wasn't working he just repeatedly said it should work and didn't respond to emails when we arrived. He explained how everything at the apartment worked but could have easily mentioned a couple things that would have been helpful like the grocery store direction which we eventually found. Or maybe a small city map would have been nice and an easy thing he could get for us the way hotels do. He also said there was a limit on the amount of electricity we use and any amount over that we had to pay which was never specified in the booking. The hair dryer didn't work. There was no wifi.
It was clean, had a decent small kitchen, and was right next to the Colosseum.

This place needs some money spent on it. Electrics distinctly suspect. Some switches had tape over them and we were warned not to touch. When we accidently did touch one it switched off the pump, leaving us with no water. Small hot water tank – bad when it's a flat for 5 and you all want showers. Bathroom and shower tiny. The latter was frankly bizarre, with several non-functioning horizontal nozzles, one of which I frequently banged by head on. The bracket for the flexible (working) hose broke off on second day and the drain only just worked, meaning the footwell almost flooded. Also, no shelves in bathroon and blackened grouting. Fridge barely worked and we had to throw food and milk away as it went off. Tiny coffee maker and no kettle at all. Had to light stove with disposable cigarette lighter as no proper igniter supplied, leading to burnt fingers. Doors between bedrooms and kitchen (the flat is basically a corridor) hard to shut and one was impossible to re-open from one side.
Tucked away in quiet area in between Capitoline and Palatine Hills (Via dei Fienili). Couldn't be better for exploring the historic heart of Rome. Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning.

The apartment manager went out of his way give us an extensive run through of the facilities and the neighborhood-- the closest subway, grocery store, restaurants, etc.

Nothing like the images online. Shower was so small you couldn't move in it. Poor bathroom design for function. Kitchen gas hob was inoperable. No welcoming touches such as kettle, oven, tea, coffee etc.
Ideally located near the Colloseum and other major tourist attractions. Neighbourhood included numerous restaurants and was close to the Rome Terminal.

The lack of functioning WiFi when we thought that would be included. When we called about it, our call was never returned.

Bathroom door didn't work, it was said to us that that will be fixed on the 2nd day of our trip (we were there for four days) but it wasn't. We had to use the bathroom with the open door the whole stay there. Also the shower handle didn't work, so we showered only with the hose. It said that there was wi-fi in the apartment, but there wasn't!!!
Location was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was polite.

Location! Public transport in front of location and metro a few blocks away. Super friendly staff.

Prefectly located apartment! Nice neighbourhood near Colosseum, not very crowded, either not noisy! Apartment fully furnished & equiped. Totally MOLTO BENE! Love Italy....

Excellent (and relatively inexpensive) places to eat nearby.....very close to the Colosseum and the metro....the hostess (Ms. Rada) lived onsite and was extremely helpful.

Hassan was a big help in our travel organisations. He sat down and pointed out places of interest and gave us some "local inside tips". The grocery store at the end of the street was priced right and had everything we needed.
April 10, 2014
Upon our arrival, even though we had agreed to meet and check in at 6pm the host arrived 1h late making us wait on the street door. For our surprise there was no wifi connection even though it's announced on the listing. The apartment wasn't clean, specially the mattresses and the pillows were disgusting. The kitchen appliances dirty and insufficient, there is no microwave nor toaster. Also, there's so little electric power contracted that you have to balance which electronics you can plug in at a time.
The location, but we felt a little cheated because it's 15min walk from the colosseum! The closest metro stop is Manzoni.
