The hotel was well located on the river, a little way out of the centre of Florence
The room was filthy and you could grow potatoes on the carpet. It was also so noisy. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Very rude personnel. poor breakfast unclean old furniture
Clean, very good location, nice staff and helpfull comfortable
the breakfast timing it must be untill 10:30,the WiFi not availabile on the rooms and the noise outside the room
The breakfast staff was friendly and made me a decaf cappuccino (not available from the machine in the breakfast room) on request.
The staff could not give information about the parking situation in the area or explain/fix the sudden wifi outage in the lobby. We had 2 3-bed rooms, the third bed (cot) in one room was fine, the other was soft and not adequate for an adult. The shower in the one room was so small as to be practically unusable. We got what we paid for :-)
room was awful, they put nice picture of lobby in booking but the room is very bad, not clean, not comfortable, breakfast was poor, they put a sign " one yogurt per person". I could not go to the bath as bath was not clean. Not recommended to stay there.
Lobby and entrance was excellent. Breakfast was good.
The room was not so good as the entrance and the lobby.
Terrible stay!! Other guests were fighting in the hall outside our room for moat of the night. My husband had to get up at 2:00 am to ask tgem to be quiet
The place was infested with BED BUGS!!!!! I received more than 100 bites and we were awakened throughout the night with itching!!! Now we are having to treat all our luggage and belongings so our home doesn't get infested - what a pain when fighting jet lag beware of hotel Columbus!! Seven we told the reception of our problem they were mildly concerned , seemed like they had heard this before
- low price and even less to gain - 30min walk to the center of the river - Room and bedding clean
- Hotel can not have 4 stars. Hotel really has one star. - Breakfast is very poor. - The walls of the hotel is very dirty and old. - No room heating - The faucet in the bathroom does not work. - The sink in the bathroom is wrong and could fall. - Internet does not work in the room, only in lobby - Parkihng very small (6 seats) and around the building in bad way. He urgently needed renovation!!!
+ Not far from everything + friendly staff + clean rooms + A/c works good
- beds are hard - small rooms - tv is small - very small bathroom and shower - only 3 plugins for the whole room so if you plug in the tv and Refrigerator then that only leaves you with one plug in.
Not much at all
It felt like you suddenly find yourslelf in the Soviet Union era and trust me I'm not exaggerating here. The last time I've seen deco like the one in the Colimbus suits was in 80th...The room was cold, furniture is badly outdated, walls are dirty and require urgent refreshing and no proper blankets, no mini bar whatsoever and many other points to add to the list here. Another words, this hotel is not pleasant at all, certainly not 4 stars as advertised! Would advise to avoid this place if possible until improvements are made and confirmed
The room facing the street was very noisy. It's not easy to reach without taking buses.
The facilities, the view of River Arno, the breakfast. Moreover, they have Mr.Benjamin in their staff. He is a real gentleman who speaks excellent and elegant English.
Great value for money all but one staff member was wonderful and informative
One very rude English staff member who was very abrupt and spoke down to people, not only me but others. He said to one woman who asked a question"I came from England and had to teach myself and feed myself " more or less saying work it out. O
Value for money. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Close to historical centre.
TV and bard fridge did not work on arrival. When reported both were supposedly fixed. Bar fridge remained "warm" and electrical connection to TV was hazardous. Window shutters very noisy and not maintained.
It was closed to cetre - 30minutes walk.
The Staff were totally terible, the receptionist refused help us with parking of car, with informations how to get to centre, everything was problem. The hotel inform in booking.com about free parking in areo of hotel but it isn´t true even I ask for reservation of parking 1 car they didn ´t send any information about NO parking in hotel!
There was easy parking and the area was quite. Bus stop to the center was very close to the hotel.
We were disturbed in the early morning by a customer who was allowed to knock at our door repeatedly because of a lost recharger. Wifi was only available in the lobby.
The brekfast was relly por and have bad quality food. He hotel in general is old. They lay about the stars, I've been ina one star hotels better than this
staff weren't rude but very casual and routine. This wasn't the cleanest of hotels I've stayed in and on a busy road.
we were lucky to find the last parking space nice personnel at the reception
grose toilet grose rooms poor quality of breakfast
Still close to city center if you like to walk. Very friendly stuff, found good solutions for us parking. Room at the top floor had a beautiful view and the terrace at the evening was great. There is a pizza place very close, just over the bridge - very local place.
It is written on the page that reservation for parking is needed, but thay have only 6 parking spaces and no reservation was possible - still thay made efford to find us free parking-place. Breakfast is OK, we just missed dark bread.
Old-fashioned hotel, rally needs renovation !!! It is too expensive, breakfasts are horrible and rooms really very small and ugly. Moreover, there is always foul smell from the bathroom (from pipes or from some place or other).
