The warm welcome from the reception staff at reception, the friendliness, the clean spacious room with a beautifull view from the small balcony.

To find something I would have enjoyed a few more french speaking or english speaking tv channels. Howeever we weren't there for tv!!!

Not that it is a big thing, but the breakfast could have more choices... but as I said it is not a big deal...

I have stayed here many times over a span of decades and have seen the place change and improve under the direction and ownership of the Brovelli family, who are very friendly and helpful and professional. The views from the top floor rooms and their terraces are spectacular! The setting is a paradise! The wifi works which is in contrast to many other places stayed at during this trip.

I don't mind this because I have known this place for many years but for newbies, you will notice signs of wear and use but for me everything worked. There are some spider webs around but nothing bothered us.

The location of the hotel is amazing , the staff is very friendly trying to assist with every question. Our room was with a view of the lake with a large balcony and we enjoyed to sit there and ״stare״ at the lake.

The tv in the room is to small ( 14" ).

Very good hotel. I loved the spa and the swimming pool. The room lake view is worth the up price. You need a car to explore the beautiful "Lake maggiore area".

Excelent lake vue. Calm . Beautiful garden. Friendly atmosphere. Very nice staff at all levels. Dog friendly- we had no dog with us but we love dogs and like people travelling with their Dogs.

The elevator ( even nice glass work) would need some updating. Also furniture . Considering the very pleasant stay we had ,we don' t see the urgent solving of these items as a condițion to come back again.

Nice hotel with a good pool and lakeside beach / jetty for swinning. Very pleasant grounds with a "pool bar" which was reasonably priced. Breakfast good (other than the orange juice as mentioned by others). A short walk to the centre of Ranco, a longer walk (45 mins) to the Rocca di Boromeo (well worth the visit) and to Angera. Restautant was very nice, slightly on the expensive side but not outrageous. More than enough parking (overflow parking was on a grass area). The room was not huge but adequate, and there was plenty of hot water.

Spa was very expensive. Aircon was feeble.

Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hotel very clean, food very tasty, views absolutely stunning. Quiet and tranquil.

Food in the restaurant very expensive and service charge on top. Bar food only served until 6pm and restaurant opened at 8pm - very difficult as 2 young children that asleep by then. Staff very accommodating and bought food upto our room. Feel that should lower cost of the food as although it is tasty and well presented, should not be so expensive. Also need more variety on menu.

Very friendly welcome; comfort, cleanliness, good building; pleasanr atmosphere (each room has a different picture including its number; books available); good food; and especially a superb view on the lake side of the hotel of the Alps

. les rideaux en voile de la porte fenêtre de la chambre, il étaient propres mais donnaient l'impression de "dater". . le jus de fruit (machine) du petit déjeuner (orange : goût synthétique, multifruits : idem).

die Lage war direkt am See, ruhig, die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Aussicht im Terrassenrestaurant auf den Lago maggiore sehr schön.

der Frühstücksraum war zu klein.

deuxième séjour dans cet hotel toujours aussi agréable. Personnel sympathique.

Nous nous étions régalés avec la cuisine servie le soir. Cette année nous n'avons pas retrouvé la même qualité.

Wundervolle Lage am See mit sehr schöner Gartenanlage. Die komplette Seeseite des Restraurants ist komplett verglast und man genießt während des Essens ein wunderschönes Panorama)

Personal überarbeitet und grüßt zum Teil nicht. Essen verhältnismäßig teuer, nur mittelmäßig und Portionen viel zu klein. Das gesamte Hotel gehört schon lange renoviert (Moos wächst auf den Balkonen, Farbe splittert ab, das Silikon löst sich aus den Fugen im Bad, Mobiliar ist abgenutzt, Matratzen schon lange durchgelegen, Tapeten haben Farben aus den Siebzigern, Gartenmöbel deren Bezüge einmal weiß gewesen sind, sind mittlerweile dunkelgrau bis schwarz)

Hôtel bien situé sur la rive Est du lac. Voiture indispensable. Accueil en français. Calme et confortable, service très sympathique, aire de jeux apprécié des enfants. Le plus: la vue panoramique sur le lac du restaurant.

Penser à s'assurer que la piscine extérieure est remplie car début mai, ce n'était pas le cas.

Tout était parfait. L'accueil, le calme, le spa (très beau hammam, sauna et pièce de repos. Les conseils de visite (et en français) du personnel de l'hôtel était impeccable.

Smuk udsigt over søen

Kemien med ejerne var ikke så god. De virkede ikke særligt imødekommende og blev meget fornærmede da jeg bad om en 'rigtig' cappuccino til morgenmaden istedet for en fra kaffemaskinen (jeg fik dog en skal det siges). Siden hilste de ikke på mig - jeg sprang over morgenkaffen fremover og følte mig ikke velkommen. Restauranten virkede meget dyr i forhold til den pris/kvalitet vi ellers oplevede på vores tur. Hotellet er meget 70'er retro agtigt (hvilket dog også kan have sin charme). SPA faciliteterne var noget begrænsede. Vi savnede en indendørs pool vi kunne opholde os i.

Ho trovato lo staff della struttura molto gentile e disponibile, l'hotel ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative, la vista sul lago é magnifica. Colazione abbondante.

Solo due note negative. La prima mi ha totalemente rovinato la giornata: la scortesia e arroganza della propietaria. Senza scendere nei dettagli, sarebbe bastato dire che probabilmente c'era stato un malinteso. Il secondo decisamente più superficiale: caffè e cappuccino da macchinette automatiche.

j'ai aimé la situation au bord du lac et la tranquilité des environs très peu de bruit.
