Quietness and tranquility. Family run and very friendly. Views of the lake were breathtaking. Breakfast excellent and great coffee machine!

Excellent overall.... but just a suggestion. The views from the restaurant were stunning - why don't they use this area for breakfast? (breakfast was laid out further back inside the building.

Dark breakfast room (not allowed into beautiful dining room for breakfast!), restaurant food average (but expensive), swimming pool closed when we went

The warm welcome from the reception staff at reception, the friendliness, the clean spacious room with a beautifull view from the small balcony.

To find something I would have enjoyed a few more french speaking or english speaking tv channels. Howeever we weren't there for tv!!!

Not that it is a big thing, but the breakfast could have more choices... but as I said it is not a big deal...

I have stayed here many times over a span of decades and have seen the place change and improve under the direction and ownership of the Brovelli family, who are very friendly and helpful and professional. The views from the top floor rooms and their terraces are spectacular! The setting is a paradise! The wifi works which is in contrast to many other places stayed at during this trip.

I don't mind this because I have known this place for many years but for newbies, you will notice signs of wear and use but for me everything worked. There are some spider webs around but nothing bothered us.

The location of the hotel is amazing , the staff is very friendly trying to assist with every question. Our room was with a view of the lake with a large balcony and we enjoyed to sit there and ״stare״ at the lake.

The tv in the room is to small ( 14" ).

Very good hotel. I loved the spa and the swimming pool. The room lake view is worth the up price. You need a car to explore the beautiful "Lake maggiore area".

Excelent lake vue. Calm . Beautiful garden. Friendly atmosphere. Very nice staff at all levels. Dog friendly- we had no dog with us but we love dogs and like people travelling with their Dogs.

The elevator ( even nice glass work) would need some updating. Also furniture . Considering the very pleasant stay we had ,we don' t see the urgent solving of these items as a condițion to come back again.

Nice hotel with a good pool and lakeside beach / jetty for swinning. Very pleasant grounds with a "pool bar" which was reasonably priced. Breakfast good (other than the orange juice as mentioned by others). A short walk to the centre of Ranco, a longer walk (45 mins) to the Rocca di Boromeo (well worth the visit) and to Angera. Restautant was very nice, slightly on the expensive side but not outrageous. More than enough parking (overflow parking was on a grass area). The room was not huge but adequate, and there was plenty of hot water.

Spa was very expensive. Aircon was feeble.

great spa services- very beautiful. the hotel was very beautiful. great staff. hotel set in amazing surroundings. loads to do in and around the hotel.

Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hotel very clean, food very tasty, views absolutely stunning. Quiet and tranquil.

Food in the restaurant very expensive and service charge on top. Bar food only served until 6pm and restaurant opened at 8pm - very difficult as 2 young children that asleep by then. Staff very accommodating and bought food upto our room. Feel that should lower cost of the food as although it is tasty and well presented, should not be so expensive. Also need more variety on menu.

did not like it - naked men in saunas and steam rooms, when they came back with the family and children

Very friendly welcome; comfort, cleanliness, good building; pleasanr atmosphere (each room has a different picture including its number; books available); good food; and especially a superb view on the lake side of the hotel of the Alps

einzigartige Lage, sehr ruhig

Aus der Anlage könnte mehr gemacht werden. Das Haus und die Ausstattung bedürfen einer gründlichen Renovierung. Es fehlt eine nette open-air Sitzgelegenheit (mit Barbetrieb?) in Hausnähe.

Nur der Blick von der Terasse Frühstück für Italien ganz o.k.

Zimmer abgewohnt, Ranco ist abgelegen, kein Geschäft, nur 1 Pizzeria weiter weg, Schimmel und Rost im Bad, Fugen und Decken schlimm, Balkone im 1.OG sind das Wort nicht wert, Terassen im 2. OG schön gross aber vergammelt, das ganze Hotel hat seine besten Jahre schon lange hinter sich, der Fotograf hat hier gute Arbeit geleistet, nie mehr wieder nach Ranco, schon gar nicht in dieses Hotel, Was das mit Wellness zu tun hat, weiss ich nicht.

La spa non è degna di essere chiamata tale; costoso per gli scarsi servizi che offre

-herrlicher Ausblick über Lago Maggiore. -guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren um den Lago Maggiore. -Abendessen war hervorrangend. -guter Beratung an der Rezeption.

-Frühstück, warme Speisen hätten wärmer sein sollen. -Frühstück im Restaurant an Fensterseite war nicht gestattet, schade!

Freundlichkeit von Rezeptionistin und Seniorchef

Unfreundlichkeit von Personal und Chefin sowie Sauberkeit vom Zimmer (Staub und Spinnweben in erheblichem Masse)

Den vänliga personalen och allt fungerade. Rent och snyggt även om det inte var det senaste modet. Restaurangen var bra men den har nog varit bättre (inte mitt första besök).

Läget är lite offside om man inte har bil.

Automatencafé in Italien!?!, in die Jahre gekommende Inneneinrichtung, wenig Sonnenlicht auf Fluren und im Frühstücksraum, Geruch im Zimmer

Je kunt vlak bij met de boot naar de overkant waar 3 eilandjes liggen die zeer de moeite waard zijn.

Lokalizacja w bardzo spokojnym otoczeniu,w ogrodzie nad samym brzegiem jeziora,w luksusowym hotelu z bezpłatnym parkingiem I bezproblemowym dojazdem.Studio wyposażone w wygodną łazienkę,lodówkę,czajnik,nowoczesny,bardzo duży lcd z bogatą ofertą programową(w tym 2 programy tvp) oraz taras z przepięknym widokiem na jezioro I jego drugi brzeg.Bardzo miła I uczynna obsługa.Wzorowa czystość.Na parterze przytulna restauracja z panoramicznym I romantycznym widokiem na jezioro.
