Friendly reception staff..goes out of there way to assist.
Not the best Hotel I ever stayed in but good central location very noisy traffic though and breakfast was basic staff were friendly when you saw them only stayed one night so not much to report
surcharge for wifi 1euro for two hours noisy from streets below especially in morning
Excellent staff and location
Small shower area.
The room was simple, but comfortable. The toilet was very well made. Not a place to take your fiance for a trip of her life, but a great place for humble travellers ;)
You could hear EVERYTHING that was going on the corridor.
Proximity to Termini station
The room had 4 beds, 2 put together as a queen, and 2 cots; we had to sleep on the cots because the springs were coming thru the mattresses on the "queen" bed. Shower grimy, old fixtures in bath, noisy; I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is very close to the train station termini so if you have early flights trains etc it's a good location. I suppose it wasn't expensive but it was not a nice area.
The room was small for 3 people although clean. There was a kitchen chimney right next to our window so the smell of curry and other spicy foods was very strong. They switched the air con off at night and it was really hot.
View from the window is the only advantage in this place.
1) Conditioner did not work during the first 4 days. The new one was bought and we spent 4 hours watching two men disassembling the old and assembling the new device in our room. 2) Poor breakfast, dirty tables, poor cutlery. 3) Indifferent, unproffessional, not educated staff, mostly immigrants. Same person works at the reception and as waitress during the breakfast time. Staff wears the clothes, which are good for going to the beach: slippers, tops and shorts. It looks, like it is normal for the staff to smoke somewhere outdoor during the work, because the gisl did not hide the smell of smoking, when spoke with me. 4) Interent problems during five days. Bad, shor-term connection. 5) The beach. On the forth day of our stay, the girl from receiption came up, when we were taking sunbath already for more than one hour and required to move under blue umprellas, while we were lying under the green. It would be no problem, if someone upon arrival warn us, that green umprellas are for outside visitors and the blue ones are for hotel guests. But people in Esperia even don't feel doing wrong. 7) On the sea floor, 50 m away from the beach, my daughter discovered ..... old tyres... 6) Director does not care about the level of service and considers it is absolutely in line with what people in Italy can expect. This is what she said to me, when my patience gave out. Needless to say, that she gave up to compensate any amount due to our decision to leave 2 days prior the day fixed in the booking.
We like that it's very near to the train station /Rome Termini. clean room, nice staffs, comfortable bed, air conditioned and has balcony.
Our only concern in our room is, the water leaking from air conditioner unit.
The room;larger than any I have ever found in Londom in a comparable hotel.! Simple but adequate: Thc cleanliness. The breakfast, simple but adequate. Real value for money.
The fact that it is on the 5th. floor , one small lift for use also of the other flooors, And, the hotel on the second floor. I think the web-site should always state whether or not the premises are on the ground floor. PS. I am an old lady and a small lift is difficult to negotiate with a suitcase.!
handy to everything - close to travel station for early start tour
Hotel was in good location for the train station... 2 minutes walk. Great for what we needed for 2 days. Friendly staff, helpful with info. Cheap and cheerful.
Sort of the dodgy side of Termini station but good location if your only there short term & need to be near the station.
I'm feeling not safe living there.
It was very close to the Termini and easy to get to the tourist attractions. The bathroom was clean and there was a 24 hour reception.
Very hard bed. The room was very cramped and there were no drawers to put clothes. Breakfast very poor for the cost of the hotel.
We had 5 days reservation, but after the first night we left the hotel. Hotel is on 5&6th floor of the building. The building on the pictures is not the same with the real one.On the stairway to the reception you can meet very strange people. The first night some people were shouting loud for more than 2 hours and nobody did anything to make them stop, so sleeping or just relaxing was impossible. We were worried even to leave our luggage unattended during the day in the room, so we left the hotel in the morning and found another cheaper and really much more pleasant one in the next street. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone at all.
Had to carry luggage up stairs No clear signage in building Suspicious elements hanging outside building. Room small and shower was broken .room was cold asked for extra blankets was told to wait until new staff came,,,
too expensive not clean beds were not very comfortable breakfast was okay staff was okay
The Staff were just incredibly helpful with everything, nothing was too much trouble for them, they told us good locations to visit and places to eat, even phoned The Colosseum for us to find out opening times. Couldn't ask for friendlier staff. Location is a 2 minute walk from main train Termini so perfect central location.
Was a slight smell of sewage backing up through the drains in our room but wasn't enough to put us off.
The room with all the views, central location.
The odours in the bathroom come shower.
The staff are very polite, the internet was free for two hours but the signal of internet was not very strong. it was 2 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from colloseum on foot. The room was clear.
the breakfast was very poor. The area was little dangerous. The room was small.
Size of the bedroom was good and very comfortable.
Staffs almost don't speak english.
