Location and room

excellent location, very friendly staff
Location, Location, Location
Bed takes up lot of space in the room
Location good, close to lots of cafes, shopping and walking distance to many tourist venues. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful with queries.
We stayed in the annex. Our room had very poor insulation from noise, both from the room above and that adjoining our room. In room Wi fi reception was aways inconsistent with frequent disconnections every few minutes. Bed very firm.
staff were very helpful in all ways, warm and friendly, offered all sorts of extra help. great location good beds lots of warm water great view of street
very poor wi fi connection except in main lobby not much soundproofing between floors, we had kids upstairs on our last night and they were very noise also had a window out to main street which was great but noisy at times. just had to close the window.
Good Lord: My wife loves this place: so we're going back in 6 months. No internet is usa speed- but it was faster here than Venice and Florence. Staff was great!!! Room: clean- bed was firmer side of soft (too soft for me, but Beth loved it): Enough power ports to charge both phones and laptop at same time: Cable tv. Was a great experience. Thanks! And see ya again.
Perfect location. Excellent staff.
Very friendly and helpful front office staff
wifi not working at all
The location is perfect! The staff is wonderful. Very accommodating went out of their way to make sure we were happy, the breakfast was hearty and the staff in the kitchen were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Had several tours set up and could walk to the start destinations on all of them. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. Some rooms smaller than others, and some could hear the street noises. We would go back again.
Very convenient for the Metro and Spanish steps, in the heart of an atmospheric area with restaurants and good access to historic Rome. We arranged transport with the hotel and our incoming flight to Rome from Amsterdam was first cancelled and we were then rescheduled on a later flight. After phoning the hotel to advise, we eventually arrived after further delays from Amsterdam at about 0045 hours to find the taxi man with my name displayed. He had clearly been patiently waiting for an hour, maybe two, and it was a great relief to us. I would certainly recommend considering booking the transport arranged by the hotel based on this experience.
We were slightly disappointed with the room, and had higher expectations of the hotel based on reading the reviews. We found the breakfast area a little cramped but the breakfast choice was good enough.
It is very comfortable and has great location. The separate d building we stayed was all new. Staffs are all kind and giving many useful info.
The area is very noisy. If you have a room with a window facing the street be prepared not to sleep. We had to move rooms it was so loud. There was also a confusion with the room we booked. We booked a connecting room as we had young kids and it wasn't available on our first night which was very inconvinient.
The location is excellent, very close to Piazza di Spagna and Via del Corso. We were in our honeymoon and the hotel staff was very kind providing an upgrade to a suite at the hotel annex (we had booked the standard room at the annex). Staying at the annex was no inconvinient at all - the building is very close to the main property and our room seemed to have been recently renovated, since all the furniture was in very good condition.
The hair dryer was very weak, and it was pointless trying to use it.
loved the location in the area at the base of the Spanish Steps - great shops and restaurants. Convenient walking distance to many sights
Friendly service, particularly Favio.
Room for four dingy and cramped.
The location of the hotel was perfect. WC were ok compared to the overall experience.
The personel suggested us to stay in a tranquil room. every morning we had to wake up at 8am due the construction going on under our windows. the rooms were terrible. It was like never been renovated from 1960. The bed and the pillows were terribly uncomfortable. Except the location there was nothing good with the hotel.
Excellent location, helpful staff. We had a quite room which was great and allowed us to get a good sleep! We would definitely book this hotel again!
The room was a tad small & the breakfast area was small so a little crowded at times. Breakfast was a bit limited in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in Italy.
The location is by the Spanish Steps so a very busy spot to be but also the place you want to be to get anywhere you are going. Could get noisy for that reason. Small rooms but not smaller than anywhere else you would stay in Rome, very clean, good breakfast. Staff was fantastic! Vladimir, Angelo and Rome were helpful with every question, direction, suggestion and reservation we needed during our 5 night stay.
Great location a few minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain (closed for refurb til Autumn 2015) and surrounded by good shopping and restaurants. Warm and friendly front desk staff.
We had a power cut in our room which disturbed our sleep and created a long delay in being able to get ready and leave for our one day in Rome. Obviously couldn't have been helped but there was no apology or acknowledgement of the obvious inconvenience, just some grunts from the maintenance man, who seemed to find it all rather too much like hard work.
perfect hotel in the center of rome. the best staff . the room perfect
Friendly staff Great location
Very noisy hotel, could hear toilets flushing and people talking in other rooms. Was woken up every night when toilet in the room above was flushed
Location is very good: famous caffe Greco is around the corner and lots of nice shops in the area. Very friendly and professional guys at the reception, when I came second time (in a half of a year) the guy remembered me.
