Hotel Consulta  

The hotel is situated in very center of Rome. It is easy to get everywhere on foot. Our room was very quiet, a bit small. They provide a small kettle for tea and coffee. The staff is very friendly and supporting. When I go to Rome next time, I will definitely choose Consulta.

Just a little bit pricey. But it was worth of it.

Location. Location Staff provided tips for your tours and recommended good restaurant. Very near to the coliseum and the cake castle. The room was excellent.

It does not look like a hotel when you enter the building. Elevator was ancient like Rome. The hotel is in the second floor.

The staff were excellent. They took the time to help us plan out our days in Rome. Room was very clean. Great location. Central to many great sites and uses of transportation.

Moved rooms at one point from a smaller one to larger. Somewhat of a mistake, as that room was loud due to it facing the road.

We stayed for two nights and had a great time at Consulta, the hotel is ideally located in central Roma, the room are super clean, well-designed, very quiet considering the location and above all the staff is really awesome! Helpful, friendly and they will give you some good advises. When we will come back to Rome we will for sure stay in the same hotel as it was a superb experience.

No breakfast is served, however some cafes are really close-by.

Very nice room, well decorated and really quiet. Our room faced the back and we did not hear a thing throughout the night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great bathroom too. Excelent location very close to piazza venezia, termini station, fontana di trevi, among other things.

Even though it says public parking available, do not count on it. In fact, a car in Rome is the least thing you need. I wish they offered a breakfast.

Great location and service. The hotel was a little difficult to find but apart from that it was perfect. Excellent service from all the staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see the sights; all of which were all within walking distance.

Nothing at all!

Fantastic location, we were able to walk absolutely everywhere, except for Vatican City, but the bus stop was just outside the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, giving us a map and pointers for our first trip to Rome and arranging our shuttle services to and from the airport (worthwhile if you're travelling with 3 or 4 people as it works out the same price, or slightly cheaper, than taking a train). I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it - the rooms were comfortable, decent sized, clean and rather stylish! Again, this hotel's strongpoint is its location: 5 mins from the colosseum in one direction and 5 mins in another direction to the shopping areas and the Trevi fountain.

Excellent location, staff were extremely keen to help. This is a great place to stay if you want comfort in the heart of the city. A great personal touch was that the receptionist kept our room vacant until 2pm so that we could come back and tidy ourselves up after a long morning walking before our flights home. Rooms very modern, comfortable and as central as you can get in Rome.

The hotel is very well situated with many important tourist sites accessible by walking. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff, both day (Katalina) and evening (older gentleman) were both kind, friendly and extremely helpful. There are many "non-tourist" eating options available near the hotel. Although my room faced a busy street, it did not affect my ability to have a good sleep.

No international (English) channels on TV, although I never really had much interest in watching TV.

Everything was as a 4 star hotel. Perfect!

Great service and location.

We stayed 3 nights in November. One doesn't feel like entering hotel, it is more like an original upstreet apartment and you are visiting a friend there. The friendly person in question is Katalina, who immediately gave us a very informative tour of Rome on a useful map that hotels in the city provide. She also was very helpful and booked a museum reservation for us in no time. Hotel is 15 minutes walk from Termini and Pantheon, 10 minutes walk to Collesseo. Our room (101) was clean and newly furnished. The bathroom was especially comfortable, even kind of stylish. All in all it was a nice special stay at Hotel Consulta.

Overlooking Via Nazionale, there is a considerable amount of vehicle noise which penetrates through the well insulated windows and walls.

Perfect location and nice personal helping to solve all problems and answer all question.

The street Via Nazionalle is to noisy - the rooms with windows to the yards must be much better.

The location was excellent and Katalin's personal assistance with destinations, directions and anything needed was awesome!

The pillows were too hard / big.

Very surprised by the quality of this hotel! For the price we paid 90euro, our room was large with comfortable double bed (not two singles pushed together!) plasma tv with good channels, fridge, closet and really big bathroom that had double shower. Everything was brand new and designed like a boutique hotel (stayed October 2012). Staff very helpful We got more than what we paid for in Rome - will be booking this hotel again for sure

The location is perfect. Very clean room, with new furniture and very good bathroom. Katalina is very helpful and sweet.

The location is fantastic and the staff are really friendly and helpful for advicing. Katalina shows us most of the sightseeing spots on the map once we got here. The room is clean, comfortable, quite and big. The bathroom is also clean and easy to use. The hotel is just 5 min to Colosseo, 10 min to Piazza Spagna and 5 min bus to Termini station. The bus station is just the right hand side of the hotel. It is safe and convenient to everywhere. The reception is 24 hours. It is ok to leave your luggages in the hotel if you plan to travel to other cities. Overall, the hotel is the best choice during my whole trip in Italy.
