If you have a room at the front of the building, it can be difficult to sleep as the pedestrian zone outside is very busy and noisy in the high season (we stayed in August), even in the middle of the night (between 1am and 5am), even with the windows closed. The decor is very dated (50s) and old. Vegetarian options were available, but a little limited.
The location is great! Right in the centre of Ischia Porto in the pedestrian zone. Proximity to port, shops, restaurants, beach. The special ferragosto dinner was very nice (although there was an extra charge despite having booked half board, but worth it). They had really made an effort. Despite the "retro" look the hotel was kept very clean. Staff were very polite.
