The hotel was quiet and hidden away on the lovely island of Murano. It was great to relax here after the hustle and bustle of a day in Venice. i would definitely stay here again.
Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
I didn't have any hot water and it took until the day after I arrived for them to check it. I was fi ally changed to another room. The breakfast room was like an outdoor area that had been closed in with windows and it wasn't very warm when I was there . Would be ok in warmer months.
Located in a wonderful place (Murano), very close to Venezia; The hotel is a classic with quite good rooms, clear and clean with equiped bathroom. Although in an old building, it's also a classic one. The Wi-Fi is functionable in the room. The staff is friendly and attentious to our needs. Would stay there again and again...
Location was great, room good size, clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Toilet flush was broken. Room had unpleasant smell.
1) We loved being on the island of Murano, away from all the busyness of Venice. 2) We loved the Murano glass chandeliers in the rooms and hallways 3) We loved the little cafes, all within walking distance 4) Although the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, someone has emailed me the longest route to get from the train station (via ferry) vs. the short route.
1) Having to walk up so many stairs with our luggage, although the desk clerk helped us upon check in. 2) Breakfast buffet was poor, except for the coffee machine. 3) Pillows were flat and spongy
Location was excellent, close to waterbus stops, friendly staff and everyone spoke English,,local osteria al duomo pizzeria was excellent value and food was fantastic, just another reason to go back to hotel conterie
On the downside, no coffee or tea facilities in the superior room we stayed in, everything else excelled our expectations
Bed extremely comfortable, great location quiet and away from crowds of people . Very clean and tidy room . Nice outside terrace
Wi fi poor, room a little small, breakfastok not brilliant.
Amazing stay.. great location 3 minute walk from waterbus station.. quiet location with excellent friendly service/ staff... will definitely stay here again
Close to glass museum and a nicely decorated place encient venetian style.
some issues with shower which could not be fixed during our stay
Quality of the amenities( the even changed the sheets/towels etc daily!) The location was second to none and if you want a top class hotel on one of the most beautiful islands of the Venezia region this is it! The staff were friendly efficient and very attentive to your needs. The breakfast was fresh and despite the hotel being booked solid was always laid out impeccably and never ran low on ANYTHING during breakfast.
One small glitch was that the shower head needs replacing in Room No 10 as it flaps about when in use!( a small gripe but not major)
Murano, nice location, in the evening all the tourists are leaving and you are alone with the locals.. not only glass..
The breakfast was complitly well-equipped. The price and value ratio was correct.
Our room was in front of the Reception. So it was noisy. We could not even open the windows, because everybody from the street could look into. We did not have warm water. And the waterpressure was so few.
Friendly staff. Comfortable & clean room. Peaceful. Good continental style breakfast. Plenty of hot water. Near to a water-bus stop. Several restaurants within walking distance.
Poor television channels with virtually no English language channels. No lift which made carrying heavy suitcases difficult.
I like the location on Murano! It is possible to feel that you live on small island since it is quite distant from Venice... But Murano has excellent public transport connections to Venice 24 hours. Always clean rooms.
Sometimes (not often) were problems with Internet.
Bedroom was well appointed, lots of local glass.
We had a real struggle finding hotel as we arrived late at airport and the red line boat closed at 6.00, so we were dropped at the far end of the island.
Our 4rth time at this lovely hotel. Very easy access to mainland Venice via the ACTV. Great Value. Big Rooms, Big bathroom.
I liked that it had a Venetian style to the bedroom but that's all.
I didn't like that the hot water service was very temperamental and the fact that the staff were unhelpful. Would not be going back there again.
Great staff. Always happy to help. I would happily stay there again.
Wifi was a hit and miss. Although I think that was the provider's fault not the hotel.
Nice, comfortable, quiet air conditioned room. Near everything you would want to see in Murano.
A little difficult to find. Stairs. Booking clearly included breakfast, but we were told it did not at the front desk. Wi-Fi required you to enter your username and password almost every time you wanted to use it, which was quite frustrating.
Pleasant room, very clean. Excellent aircon and hot water supply. Good breakfast. Close to Museo Vaporetto station.
No lift. Terraces spoiled by noisy aircon units. Reception not open until 0815 so beware if you have an early departure.
so friendly, easy to get to Termini and the restaurants nearby were good
No one was at the desk when we arrived. After ringing a bell and waiting for someone to run over from another location, the guy was on the phone and didn't greet us. It seemed like we were an inconvenience. When we had called previously about airport shuttle they didn't not mention the price which was going to be 150 euros. When we got to our room there was no water. After cooling off in the AC we went down to the lobby to find it empty again. We rang the bell and told them there was no water, he said 30 minutes it would be ready as if that wasn't helpful information before. When we returned to the hotel later there were bugs in the lobby. The water was working but the shower head would not stay on the wall so it was a frustrating shower. The beds are like sleeping on a solid board. If you like good customer service this is not the hotel for you.
It was wonderful to leave the busy city behind and spend a quiet evening walking the canals of Murano.
Location - Murano is a great place to visit Venice, and is close to airport; Staff - very helpful and nice; Breakfast - at the top of the hotel, in a nice patio;
Hot water wasn't working when we arrived, but it was fixed during the night so it's a minor detail.
