We had a lovely time at Hotel Continental. Porters helped us with our bags, and we were upgraded free of charge to a room with a balcony looking over the bay and with a wonderful view of Vesuvius. We could easily walk to everything, and just down the road is the ferry to Capri. The pool was also huge and luxurious, I had to brush olives from an overhanging tree off the deckchairs to lie by the pool. Ahh!!! that's the life, while waiters wander around taking orders for drinks and snacks. Fantastico! |

we were offered a triple room which had a childs bed in it where an adult couldnt sleep. When we complained the hotel staff were not helpful and it was only after alot of argument that they refunded part of the money. the room was advertised as sea view-more like sea glimpse |

The location of the hotel was good with the shops, main square and restaurants nearby. It was also quiet. Our room was pleasant (303) and had good views. However, we do not like rooms that are not fully soundproof as was the case with this one, with the bathroom of room 304 adjoining our bedroom (not our bathroom). We would probably not recommend the hotel because of this. |

We did not eat at the hotel but had room service and all items were good with generous portions ( a thing becoming increasingly rare in Italy, unfortunately The lounge area was a little tired and would greatly improve the general atmosphere and overall impression if it could be refurbished |

Good facilities, good range of breakfast even though it was a buffet We booked a roo with balcony over garden or pool and received neither. The balcony overlooked a school which was being refurbished and work started at 7:30 and finished at 17:00 and was for six days.There was noise as the knocked off render and tiles. When we complained to the Hotel staff on the first day Sunday they couldn't move us and said the workman would start at 8:00 and finish at 13:00. There was no offfer of recompense. We later found out that someone else was moved. |

The hotel has a huge pool. Rooms were kept spotless. Good location off of main area with only a 5-10 minute walk away to everything. What made this hotel great however was the staff. From day one they were calling us by name. They were always pleasant and helpful with anything we needed. This was the first of four hotels we stayed at on our trip. I wish it was the last because then we would have saved the best for last. No other hotel's staff compared to this one. |

Excelent staff, very friendly and helpful. food is very good, loads for breakfast. The air con is not 24h a day, the private beach is nothing to do with the hotel. The lift is 3 Euro per day. |

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were well equipped and were tastefully decorated. The rooms were also very quiet. The pool was large with plenty of chairs around. The prices in the poolside cafe were reasonable. The air conditioing was not very effective in the room. The juice at breakfast tasted like watery squash which was ridiculous given the number of orange trees around the hotel! |

execeptional customer service.....such a good experience!!! It's location. each night after 7pm the police close off the only street you can drive through to the hotel. To get to the hotel you'll have to pay 1 euro to get past the police.... location is only bad if you rent a car and drive. |

Just amazing. The hotel was great but the BIG plus for Continental is the staff - they are amazing. They cannot do enough for you and greet you with a smile everyday and obviously take pride in the hotel. I miss the place already!!! |

Excellent läge, både med allt inom gångavstånd, underbar utsikt och lugn omgivning. Mycket bra klass på hotellet - personal, rum, bilparkering, allt fungerade mycket bra. Alldeles för hårda sängar (som I många andra fall på liknande hotell). Frukosten kunde vara lite mer varierad och innehållsrik - men helt ok ändå. |

Palvelu oli yksi parhaista, mitä vastaan on tullut viiden tähden hotellit mukaan lukien. Huone oli laadukas ja sinne mahtuu hyvin neljäkin henkeä. Erittäin hyvä sijainti meren läheisyydessä Sorrenton ehkä mukavimmalla paikalla, jossa shoppailu- ja ravintolamahdollisuudet ovat aivan lähellä. Hieno uima-allasalue, johon paistaa hyvin aurinko. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Hotellin lähistöllä ei ole pysäköintipaikkoja. Auto piti jättää n. 800 m:n päässä sijaitsevaan P-taloon, jossa vuorokausihinta 20 euroa. Huoneiden äänieristyksessä jonkin verran parantamisen varaa. Naapureiden suihkussakäynnit kuuluivat huoneeseen, mutta silti melu pysyi siedettävällä tasolla. Hotellin viereisen rakennuksen julkisivuremontti jonkin verran häritsi lokakuussa 2009. |

C'est un hotel de très bon rapport qualité prix. Bonne position pour accéder à la mer, au port, en ville, à la office de touriste... Beaucoup de restaurants à coté. Personnels sympatiques. Le petit déjeuner est correcte. Cet hotel a des chambres avec des très belles vues sur la mer, en face de vésuve. Un hotel de 4 étoile devrait proposer de wifi graduit. Malheusement l'internet est payant. Surtout la page d'entrée est en Italien qui n'est pas pratique pour les étrangers. |
