The price! Venice is not cheap and this is a very good hotel, located on the Grand Canal (though most rooms don't have a view).I Got a bargain through booking.com. The hotel is clean, well maintained & very close to the railway station and to useful boat routes.TV Had cnn, bbc, Sky News, Euronews, plus a good selection of other language channels. Piping hot water always, plus tea or coffee making facilities in my room. Great! Food in their restaurant is very good though pricey. I liked the hotel a lot & would chose it again..
I didn't like having to ring the doorbell in order to come back in after midnight, though it was never an issue.
Location was excellent, near the vaporetto and Piazza Roma where you can take the bus to the airport. Staff was very helpful.
The room was slightly on the small side, but in line with the price paid. This hotel has a limited breakfast but average by Italian standards. Wifi requires a password / logon id which has limited time.
- the room had an excellent view over the Canale Grande - the staff was friendly and helpful - good breakfast, though it lacked vegetables - five minutes away from the train station, very accessible and easy to reach
- there was poor / almost no wi-fi signal in the room - the carpet and the furniture were a bit stained and worn out
The quality of food
Excellent location, for access from airport, train station also excellent base next to vaperetto stop and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Very good breakfast.
Not sure but suspect we were bitten by fleas from the bed (possibly mosquitos but stayed in November)
Clean, beautifully presented awesome structure with extraordinary ornate and breathtaking fixtures and fittings.
No one thing.
bedding matterial were very good.
Bathroom is not comfortable. There is no space to put private things. No shower holder. You should hold the shower. Because of this the bathroom was get wet. I should clean the bathroom. Hotel were very hot. Sleepless nigths.
Stayed on two occasions. On first, room was fine but opened onto alley way with neighbouring building able to look straight in. On second, room was fine and opened over street which was excellent for ambience. Access to shower would not be good for anyone with slightly greater than average body size.
Location was good
My room was out of the way with no view of anything
Location. Close to the train station and restaurants
Crowded area, but still good location.Beds could be better.
hairdryer and shower faucet should be changed/ renewed
the location and the view
i book for good room but they gave me very small room when i ask him why they said they have only this room
The location is perfect. Only 2 or 3 minutes walk to the train station. About 10 minutes walk to the bus stop. The staffs of the hotel are very nice.
The room is very small and I could hear the live music playing every night from my room.
Location is good but service and building is really poor
The bed , the internet connection and service
clean room comfy bed close to the train station close to the bus station Close to the water bus
- I asked for a room on the canal, they offered me room no.114 which was fascinating - location is great, wonderful view from the room - location is great, near the train stations, bus station and water bus - breakfast is very good and the great view that you see when you are eating is wonderful
- a little noise in the early morning when the hotel workers are unloading the vegetables but any way we were awake enjoying the nice view
- absolutely the location 5 min to parking and nice walk to everything you want to see.
- really small room, we got one for four and there was 2 beds and 2 add, means no space.
Good location - close to station, vaporetto, Grand Canal and shops and restaurants.
On the one evening when we ate in the restaurant, the service was slow.
This hotel was perfect. The location was amazing - just steps from the train station but still had a great Venetian feel to the street. The room was large and had a modern bathroom - very clean. What more do you need? Our room overlooked the Grand Canal - fabulous! This hotel helped make our Venice experience all that much more special.
Nothing - all was good.
The location is excellent, near to the train station and vaporetto stops. You can discover Venice by foot. Big rooms with all the comfort, very good breakfast.
after wrong room accommodation upon arrival, we like the fact that our original room request for a canal view was honored. lkike adjacency to various nearby restaurants
daily noisy garbage pick up on the canal at the adjacent ourtyard between the buildings for hours. loud singing from hotel restarant entertainer, singing until + 11 pm
The hotel is in walking distance from rail station and easy to get to cruise ship terminal. It is situated on the Grand Canal with many shops and restaurants nearby. Good breakfast which you can have on a veranda looking over the Grand Canal. It also has a nice restaurant. The room and bathroom were lovely. The electric jug, tea & coffee were an added bonus not usually found in European hotels. The staff were very helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel after we booked out as we weren't boarding our cruise until the afternoon. I had emailed the hotel regarding directions before I left home and received a return email promptly. I would recommend this hotel.
slow internet, small bedroom, poor insulation, was charged city tax of 4.50 per person, not a hotel of 4 stars
no sound privacy through walls of the hotel
I loved the view from our room! A great hotel. Will definitely go back.
The WiFi did not work very well.
